Chapter 50: Chapter 50: Really Want to Get Back Together with ?

Late at night, the living room.

Finally, those four light bulbs had left.

Mo Chen was still sitting on the armchair, and she was sitting opposite him.

The atmosphere was strangely silent.

The man’s deep and husky voice rose, “Do you really want to reconcile with ?”

Qiao Ruoxin nodded, “Yes!”

Mo Chen sat up straight, his handso face veiled with a thin layer of indifference, and said in a deep voice, “Since you’ve returned, I’ve been waiting for you to explain what happened two years ago, but you haven’t ntioned a single word about it.”

Two years ago…

Her fingers resting on her legs slowly curled up, her complexion turned slightly pale, and a hint of apprehension flashed through her eyes.

“Two years ago… I… I didn’t send that breakup text ssage!”

Qiao Ruoxin looked at the man with earnest eyes, but his indifference and expressionless face were chilling.

Mo Chen’s dark eyes stared at her face, capturing every little nuance of her gaze and expression.

“Have you been with him these two years?” His tone was aggressive, unrelenting.

His voice was calm, cool, but undercurrents of turmoil raged beneath.

“…” She frowned, biting her lower lip, and fell silent.

Qiao Ruoxin’s silence elicited a mocking sneer from the man, and a glimpse of despair flashed in his eyes.

Suddenly, Mo Chen stood up abruptly.

His long legs took a few strides to stand in front of her, and his angry voice sounded over her head, “Do you think you can just muddle through this? Do you think I am easy to deceive?”

Qiao Ruoxin’s body stiffened, and she stood up, “I didn’t! I’ve told you, he’s my stepfather’s son, I have nothing to do with him!”

The events of these two years…

She couldn’t speak of them!

Mo Chen’s current state couldn’t handle that shock.

“Since you’re unwilling to say anything, then don’t ntion reconciling again!”

The man’s fierce gaze seed to pierce through her, his fists clenched at his sides.

Just thinking about Qiao Ruoxin being with that man, the filthy images from those videos resurfaced in his mind.

Mo Chen’s complexion turned ugly, his breathing erratic, that nauseating feeling brewing within him.

Suddenly, he turned and walked upstairs.

Qiao Ruoxin also noticed his pale face and quickly followed him.

As soon as she entered the bedroom, she saw Mo Chen frantically taking dication, his emotions starting to spiral out of control.

“Don’t take those pills! Please!”

Qiao Ruoxin moved forward to stop him, but the man pushed her onto the bed and turned to rush into the bathroom.

Then, she heard the sound of frantic vomiting coming from the bathroom.

She sat on the bed, her face pale, her eyes brimming with moisture.

Mo Chen’s phone vibrated once beside her.

Qiao Ruoxin picked it up and glanced at it. A ssage lit up on the screen, “See you tomorrow.”

The contact na was Lin Xi.

Her heart tightened, sowhat breathless.

She unlocked the screen and read the ssage conversation.

[Lin Xi: Can we et tomorrow?]

[Mo Chen: Yeah.]

[Lin Xi: See you tomorrow.]

Woman…

Qiao Ruoxin felt her heart ache.

Two years ago, in her fifth month of confinent in the United States, her mother showed her a piece of entertainnt news from back ho.

It was about a scandal involving Mo Chen and another woman.

It was that day she slit her wrists in the bathroom, and with her blood, she wrote Mo Chen’s na on the wall.

But since then, she had not seen any scandals about Mo Chen.

Qiao Ruoxin clutched the phone tightly, looking towards the bathroom door.

Suddenly, Mo Chen’s words echoed in her ears: What if I had another woman?

She felt as if her heart was being torn apart.

Did he have soone in mind he could consider to be with?

Qiao Ruoxin pondered, if that was truly the case, then what should she do?
