"G fashion show?" Lola knitted her brows as she listened to Amala’s voice on her phone. "What the heck is that?"

"Lola, it’s one of the rising fashion houses. Right now, it’s slowly taking over the market," Amala sighed. "I told you about it before."

Lola frowned a little. "Amala, you know ."

"I know. You won’t buy clothes or anything for yourself," Amala rolled her eyes. "If I didn’t shop for you, how would you survive?"

Lola chuckled, reminded of how Amala used to nag her about these things. Amala was like a big sister and a parent to her. After all, Lola was used to buying from thrift stores, and her favorite part of that was haggling.

"So? What about this G thing?" she asked curiously. "Why are you calling about it? Don’t tell they’re opening a branch here? I will go with you if you want to shop, but ? Hoho!"

"No. I’m calling because a package arrived at the office from the brand. It’s for you."

"Oh?" Lola tilted her head to the side. "But I didn’t buy anything like that."

Even if Lola wanted to, she couldn’t. Slater had just emptied his pockets, buying everything on sight in Novera. Lola could start her own store with how much he had bought for her. But thanks to him, she didn’t need to worry about clothes for the rest of her life.

"But it says it’s for you," Amala said. "Did your boyfriend buy it for you?"

"Atlas?"

"He has great taste," Amala nodded approvingly. "I’m starting to like him."

"Amala, Atlas and his children are the only good things that have happened to . Please don’t steal him."

"Honey, if I wanted to, he would’ve fallen for my charms the first ti we t," Amala teased. "Don’t worry. I love you more than anything."

Lola grinned. "Goodness, you."

"Anyway, I’ll put this in your office, or do you want to send it to your new ho?"

"Hmm... just keep it there," Lola replied. "I’ll be there early in the morning. That can wait."

"Alright then."

Having said that, Amala didn’t idle any longer and bid Lola goodbye. It was still early, but Lola left the office ahead of schedule because she had errands to run.

"He didn’t tell he would buy anything," Lola muttered, though a smile was already creeping across her face. "He’s really sweet sotis."

She then snapped her eyes toward the driver’s seat as she sat in the back.

"Baby, your boss is kinda sweet, isn’t he?"

Baby glanced at her through the rearview mirror. "I don’t know."

"He is sweet, Baby," she shook her finger, enunciating each word. "He just bought sothing really nice. Slater might’ve bought a lot of clothes, but this one? I’ll wear it every day—even at night."

"..." Baby blinked, studying her through the rearview mirror before refocusing on the road. He didn’t want to comnt, but Lola clearly liked Atlas. He wondered why.

"Hehe." Lola giggled to herself, thinking about what Atlas had gotten her. "I want to go ho."

Lola told Amala she had so important things to do, hence leaving earlier than normal. That important thing? The grocery store.

There were chefs in the manor, so breakfast and all other als were never a problem. Whenever the twins or the family got hungry, food was already prepared for them. But today, Lola wanted to cook for Atlas and the twins. After all, the twins had told her they missed her cooking. She wasn’t about to ignore that.

"I should make them a feast," she clapped her hands, giggling happily in the backseat.

anwhile, Baby just shook his head and let her enjoy herself. It was better than driving in pure silence with Atlas. What a breath of fresh air.

"This is Chacha’s favorite snack," Lola whispered to herself, taking out so treats for the twins.

She knew there were already ingredients in the residence, so she only took so from brands she preferred. And now, she was only adding so snacks for the twins as well. But as she filled her cart with treats, Lola suddenly heard soone’s voice.

"Lola?"

Lola instinctively looked toward the owner of the voice. Deep lines of concentration appeared on her face as she studied a young woman about her age. The woman was beautiful, even with minimal makeup, wearing a casual white blouse paired with beige trousers.

Quite sophisticated, yet Lola had never seen this woman before.

"Uh... do I know you?" Lola asked, only to see the woman’s face brighten up.

"Oh my god—it’s really you!" The woman stepped away from her cart and moved toward Lola. She was about to hug her when Lola raised a hand to stop her.

"Uh, Miss, I’m sorry, but my boyfriend is the jealous type," Lola said. "He just told not to let others touch . And I like guys. Handso n."

"Oh—" The woman froze and stepped back awkwardly. "I’m sorry. I got too excited to see you, and I forgot it’s been a long ti."

"A long ti?"

The woman’s smile stretched wider, her eyes twinkling. "It’s !"

"..." Lola blinked, studying the woman’s small, beautiful face while trying to rember her. No matter how much she tried, she couldn’t recall where she’d seen this woman.

"Say... did we beco friends around six years ago?" Lola asked discreetly. "I have so missing mories from that ti, so I might not rember you."

To her surprise, the woman chuckled. "You haven’t changed at all," she said. "Just like the Lola I rember."

She leaned forward, giving Lola a knowing look.

"It’s ," she muttered, pointing at her face. "Your twin sister."

"Twin sister...?" Lola knitted her brows, studying her face. Her eyes widened, mouth dropping open as the woman straightened her back and smiled brightly.

"Aileen?!" Lola gasped, recalling that na. It belonged to her childhood best friend—the maid’s child who lived with the Youngs.

When realization finally struck her, Lola reached for Aileen’s shoulder. She bobbed her head, examining the woman until their eyes t.

"Aileen!" she scread, hugging her tightly. "Oh, my goodness!"

Aileen giggled, hugging Lola back. When they parted, they held each other’s arms, squealing with excitent.
