"Doesn’t that an trouble for us? If Summit Partners funded Lancaster’s new project, we might lose the bid for construction in the redevelopnt project."

Even though their company had prepared for this bidding and Lola had plenty of resources for it, they wouldn’t stand a chance against the Summit Partners.

Her jaw tightened, but she barely reacted. She knew that much when she saw the Summit Partners in front of the Young Residence. After all, Derek’s proposal was terrible, but with the right guidance, it could be a good business idea if he eyed the right land for it.

Lola shrugged and turned to him, casually closing the fridge.

"The Lancaster’s proposal is terrible, but with the Summit Partners, it’s already clear they’d eye this redevelopnt for their own project," Silo added with worry, watching her stare at him squarely.

"That’s why we need to know more about the Summit Partners," she said. "Otherwise, we’ll be giving up this one project."

With that, she turned and walked away.

"One project?! At this rate, they’ll be in our way every step of the way — wait, you’re leaving? Are we done talking?" Silo asked, confused.

"We’re not, but the twins are going to sleep soon. I’m tucking them into bed. Let’s continue this tomorrow."

Silo frowned a bit before he shrugged, almost in disbelief at how Lola could suddenly put things off until tomorrow when she wasn’t usually the type. But well, he might as well consider this a treat. So, he followed Lola to where they left the twins.

But when they stepped into the living area, the docunts he left on the coffee table were scattered around, with the twins seemingly playing with them.

Silo gasped, his eyes nearly popping out of their sockets, intuitively gazing at Lola’s back. He gulped, very much aware of how Lola disliked others touching her docunts. Even Silo wouldn’t touch her papers unless she handed them to him.

Uh, no... she’ll get angry, will she?

To his horror, not only did Lola not get angry, but she was chuckling.

"Pffftt—" Lola’s stifled laughter made the twins perk up from the papers they were sitting on.

The twins bead. "Mommy~!"

"What are you doing?" she asked, resuming her steps and picking up so papers along the way. When she stood close to them, she saw that they were writing sothing on the docunts.

"We’re helping Mommy!" Second cheered happily, then added, "So Mommy doesn’t need to worry so much!"

Lola’s eyes softened as she joined them, sitting on the floor. She reached out and ruffled their hair.

"Thank you for helping ," she expressed sincerely, ignoring Silo’s judgntal look.

From the looks of it, the twins had just scattered the papers and drawn on them. However, it was the thought that counted. Then again, if Silo heard this, he would surely lose it because, how co his thoughts never counted?!

"Twins, you seem to enjoy helping her, huh?" he muttered as he carefully sat down on the couch, eyeing the three of them wearing matching dinosaur onesies. When he gazed at the papers, his face twitched at the doodles.

"Mommy, what is Taz Real Estate and Construction?" Chacha asked out of pure curiosity.

Lola smiled. "It’s my small business."

Second and Chacha blinked, tilting their heads as they asked in unison, "Who is Taz?"

This ti, Silo snapped his eyes at the twins and then at Lola. He pressed his mouth into a thin line, knowing the story behind the company and the alias Lola often used whenever she didn’t want her real na known.

Lola smacked her lips and smiled. "It’s not a person, but I just like the aning of it."

"What’s the aning, Mommy?" Second asked, full of curiosity.

"It ans..." Her eyes drifted to the docunt as she thought of the na that had always stuck with her over the years. She shrugged and smiled at them. "It ans to endure."

Her smile resurfaced on her face. "It’s about the story of a titan, who was condemned to hold up the sky. To endure... Taz. A shortened term for Atlas."

Silo pressed his mouth, knowing full well that Lola might not be lying, but there was another story to that.

"Atlas?" Chacha and Second blinked, staring at Lola innocently.

"Mhm. Atlas, like a collection of maps—"

"Like our Father Sir?" they chid before she could finish, almost making Silo’s breath hitch.

Lola, on the other hand, furrowed her brows as she narrowed her eyes. "Your dad’s na is Atlas?"

"Mhm!" the twins humd cheerfully, eyes twinkling at Lola. "Mommy, you nad your company after our Father Sir?"

Lola was rendered speechless, opening and closing her mouth. Silo, on the other hand, had his eyes wide. The two of them knew soone whose na was Atlas, and if they had to agree on sothing, there weren’t many people with that na.

With quivering lips, Silo leaned forward and asked with a shaky voice, "Your father’s na is... Atlas?"

"Uncle, we already said what our Father Sir’s na is." Chacha frowned, making Silo gulp.

"Atlas Bennet?"

Lola held her breath as her eyes slowly widened, looking at the twins with confusion. Who didn’t know that na? That man was a legend, especially in the business world. He used to be in international business news all the ti, even though the man lived in another country.

The million-dollar dinner money should’ve been a tell that these kids’ father was no ordinary man.

To their relief, the twins shook their heads and bead.

"His na is Atlas Zorken!" Chacha cheered. "Not Bennet!"

"Chacha and Second are Zorkens!" Second added enthusiastically. "So, our Father Sir is a Zorken too!"

Hearing that, both Lola and Silo heaved a sigh of relief.

"Of course," Silo patted his chest a bit because that scared him for a bit. "Why would the Bennets let their little ones go on their own, right? That’s kind of a strange coincidence, right?"

Lola nodded. "Even though I’m not close with them, I don’t think they’re the type of family."

After all, the family they assud these kids ca from was akin to giants. They could crush them with just their pinky, even though Novera was not their territory.

"Oh, Chacha, it’s almost ti!" Second suddenly perked up and turned to his sister.

Chacha glanced at the clock, and it was thirty minutes before their bedti. They agreed to sleep early this ti.

The twins turned to Lola and grinned, making the latter’s brows rise.

"Mommy, ti to sleep!" Second rose and grabbed Lola’s hand.

"Mommy, can you sleep with us, please?" Chacha’s eyes twinkled. "And read us bedti stories too, please?"

Silo barely recovered from the near heart attack these twins were unknowingly giving him when they started tugging Lola’s hand.

Lola smiled. "Bedti stories? Sure! It just so happened I bought so children’s books earlier!"

"Yipiee~!"

With that, Lola rose to her feet and glanced at Silo. "Pick up the papers, then leave."

"Good night, Uncle Silo~!" Chacha waved at him, followed by Second’s, "Good night, Uncle!"

"..." Silo frowned, watching the three stride off with the twins holding Lola’s hands. "Goodness. I’m her assistant, not a cleaning lady."

Yet, he still picked up and arranged the docunts the twins had ruined.

"Now, she’s gonna ask for copies because those two massacred...." he trailed off, his brows rising as he noticed the doodles on the papers. "Huh?"

Silo paused and read the doodles. Sure, there were so doodles on them, but they were more like the twins’ reaction to sothing written on the docunts. The rest they wrote on the docunts?

"Aren’t these the sa things Lola pointed out for correction and negotiations?" he blurted out in surprise.

The handwriting was a bit ssy with so drawings, but they were readable. He checked the other pages just to make sure, and after reading so more, his jaw dropped.

"How the hell did those two understand this?" he gasped. "There’s even legal advisory in here under Novera’s law!"

Silo intuitively turned in the direction where the three had left, his face pale with utter shock. "Who the hell are those kids?!"
