Noah: "..."
Are you asking ?
Isn’t she worried about Ivy?
"Let’s go to Edwin Blake first. You need to control your emotions and not get too excited, got it?"
Nora took a deep breath, "Okay, I’ve got it under control, shall we go?"
Noah found it hard to trust Nora. After confirming multiple tis, he finally took her out the door.
They knocked on the door next door.
Harry quickly said, "Shh, the boss is in a eting, what’s wrong?"
Nora, excited, spoke up, "Have you seen my sister?"
As she spoke, Nora wanted to rush inside.
Harry stopped her, "Miss Goldsmith, Miss Goldsmith, please calm down a bit, what’s wrong with Madam?"
"It’s none of your business; I want to go in and have a look around. Don’t stop !"
Nora shook off Harry.
Over the years, she had been with Ivy and Noah.
She learned so things. She was half-trained...
With a shove, Harry stumbled, then steadied himself and spoke softly:
"Miss Goldsmith, please keep it down a little. Don’t make such a loud noise!"
"The boss is in an important eting, oh my dear lady, please slow down!"
Nora continued searching Edwin’s place, instinctively feeling Ivy was there.
Noah couldn’t stop her, "Nora, could you please keep it down a bit? Soone else might be in the house!"
"Yeah, yeah, the boss is in a very important eting right now. Keep your voice down."
Harry was jumping up and down anxiously.
Nora glanced at the conference room door and stepped forward to push it open.
Harry was terrified and exclaid, "Don’t!"
Noah asked indifferently, "Is Edwin in there?"
"Yes, the eting is very important; it was supposed to be in-person but turned virtual, which already upset him!"
Harry pleaded earnestly, "Miss Goldsmith, please, spare . It’s not easy for to make a living, really not easy..."
Noah stepped forward and grabbed Nora, "Let’s ask Edwin Blake’s assistant first, alright?"
"No, no, they’re in on it together, I need to go in now!"
Nora was determined to rush in.
Noah felt frustrated and delivered a knock to her neck.
Harry quickly caught her, carefully helping her onto the sofa.
He looked at Noah, inquiring, "Miss Wilson, what’s going on? Why did you suddenly co here?"
"Have you seen Ivy? I’m serious; if she’s here, I won’t worry."
Harry frowned, "Madam? Haven’t seen her, she probably went out. Didn’t you just split up and leave?"
"She’s really not here?"
Noah looked at Harry, who didn’t appear to be lying, "I’ll take a brief look around your house, don’t worry, I’ll be quiet."
"No, no, really not..."
Harry anxiously went round and round, heading straight to the study door, intent on knocking.
But then he rembered Edwin was in a eting.
Noah noticed and didn’t waste more words, standing up and started wandering around the house.
Finally, they both gathered at the study door.
"Let in, I can be quiet. I need to confirm Ivy is not in your house."
Noah appeared resolute.
Harry hesitated, "Can you wait until the boss finishes the eting?"
"Harry, I’m warning you, if you don’t let in now, I’ll start taking action. You know ."
Noah unapologetically threatened, "If Ivy isn’t in your study, I need to quickly find her. None of you can afford the consequences if sothing happens!"
Thinking of Ivy in trouble.
Edwin might go nuts, Harry conceded and stepped aside.
A billion-dollar deal didn’t seem as practical as finding Ivy.
Noah pushed the door open and began scanning around.
Edwin’s cold gaze landed on Harry, filled with reluctance.
Harry quickly mouthed, "Looking for Madam, Madam is missing."
Edwin furrowed his eyebrows, speaking directly, "Sorry, I have an issue now, eting paused."
He shut off the computer and walked towards Harry, "What did you say? What’s wrong with Ivy?"
"Madam is missing. Miss Wilson and her team ca looking for her, thinking she might be here in our house..."
Harry explained, then urged, "Boss, please focus on the negotiations, leave Madam to ."
"Search, find her!"
Edwin instantly beca restless and ordered coldly, "Retrieve nearby surveillance, search on the Dark Web, go, hurry up."
Noah, observing the situation, was sure Ivy wasn’t there.
For safety’s sake, Noah still ticulously checked Edwin’s study.
Then shrugged, "You really didn’t see Ivy?"
"Why would Ivy just co to my ho? You know her. The important thing now is to find her first."
Edwin feigned calmness, but internally was tangled with chaos.
There was a sense of defeat.
Considering we’re abroad.
Not in our own country...
Noah spoke irritably, "Don’t you know your ex-wife’s temperant? If she wants to do sothing alone, she doesn’t need us."
"Harry, watch over Nora. When she wakes up, have her go ho. Don’t call to tornt ."
With that, Noah left to find Ivy.
In Washington, Ivy had few places to go. She decided to search one by one.
Eventually, she could find Ivy, right?
Edwin also ordered coldly, "Prepare the team, find Shadowvale, get ready to move out."
"Wait, boss... It’s not necessary, is it? Shadowvale hasn’t been active on the market for years. I worry it might have a bad impact."
Harry was trying to persuade Edwin.
Edwin waved him off, "Handle it swiftly, don’t keep worried, go quick!"
Shadowvale had been dormant for many years.
On the market, this organization was no longer found.
Now suddenly activated just to find Madam seed quite inappropriate.
"When I say go, you go, don’t you understand human language?"
Edwin, unfazed, made calls, commanding coldly, "Everyone, set out and find Ivy, or face the consequences."
Shadowvale mbers were bewildered.
But quickly realized it was the boss calling.
This call had been silent for five years.
Now reopened for the search of Ivy...
What rule did Ivy break?
Shadowvale mbers shelved their gossip and imdiately mobilized forces, searching for Ivy in Washington.
...
The cetery behind the hills.
In the evening, the mountain felt chilly.
When Shadowvale mbers found Ivy, she was sleeping against a tombstone.
Jas Smith, twitching his lip, told another mber, "Quickly take a photo and post it in the group. Say we’ve found Ivy."
"This girl is unbelievable, sleeping in a cetery, truly unfazed by being searched for!"
"Snap quickly, so the others stop looking. Originally planned to slack, but turned out lucky enough. Sotis, achievents simply fall in your lap, can’t refuse."
