Isaac Ross nodded and turned to Ryder Quinn, saying, "Ryder, you stay here and wait to take the boss back later. I’m heading over to Julian’s place."
"Got it!" Ryder Quinn didn’t want to tempt fate in front of Julian Kingston, as he couldn’t control his mouth, and might accidentally say sothing that could cause Julian’s emotions to collapse.
It’s better for him to stay on this side.
Soon, Isaac Ross got up and left, heading straight to Julian Kingston’s hospital room.
Julian Kingston’s room was just one floor below where Sumr Monroe was.
Before Isaac Ross even entered the room, he heard Julian Kingston’s voice—
"I told you, I’m not drinking the dicine she brewed!"
Isaac Ross shook his head and stepped inside.
As soon as he entered, he saw Ronan Kingston standing next to Julian, holding a bowl of Chinese dicine, explaining helplessly, "Bro, this really isn’t the dicine the boss brewed. This was prepared by the hospital’s Chinese dicine departnt. If you don’t believe , you can ask them."
Julian Kingston turned away and said, "Stop lying to , I don’t want to repeat myself."
"Julian." Isaac Ross stepped forward and said, "Just take the dicine."
Hearing Isaac Ross’s voice, Julian’s expression montarily softened, but his brows quickly furrowed again.
"I don’t want anything from her."
"Who told you this is from her?" Isaac Ross ca straight out with it: "Her current health isn’t much better than yours; she doesn’t have the strength to brew dicine for you."
Julian Kingston’s expression froze, and he blurted out, "What happened to her?"
But the next mont, Julian realized he had accidentally shown concern for Sumr Monroe, and quickly added, "You don’t need to tell , I don’t want to know what’s going on with her."
Isaac Ross smirked slightly and said, "Whether you want to know or not, she’s staying in the room upstairs for now. As for this dicine, I swear on my honor, it wasn’t brewed by her. Are you willing to drink it now?"
"I..."
"Stop with the ’I’s," Isaac Ross said, taking the dicine bowl from Ronan Kingston. "You’re not a kid anymore; you should know your own body. Instead of staying in the ward annoyed, why not get yourself better and discharged early? Then you can do whatever you want, and she won’t even find you. Also, Old Master Kingston is so old, yet he’s running to the hospital every day for you. He just went back to rest because he was too exhausted — can you really bear to see an old man working so hard for you?
Julian Kingston’s expression was stiff, but he finally reached out, took the dicine, and drank it silently.
Isaac Ross breathed a sigh of relief, looked at Ronan Kingston, and said, "Old Master Kingston used to think you were the most immature, but it turns out, the immature one is your brother."
"I’m listening, you know," Julian Kingston said leisurely, glancing at Ronan Kingston. "Rest assured, I’ve already figured things out. I’ll cooperate with the treatnt and leave this damned place as soon as possible. You don’t need to stay here; the nurse can take care of ."
"It’s fine. It’s the weekend anyway, and I’d be idle at ho," Ronan Kingston said, shaking his head nonchalantly.
Ever since he found out his brother was in trouble, he suddenly realized how much he relied on Julian Kingston.
This incident caused Julian to mature quite a bit.
Isaac Ross glanced at Ronan Kingston and said, "You’re currently in the general class at Crestfall University. I heard Principal Payne also gave one of the early interviews for Britton University to soone from the general class. If you’re really worried about this family, you should grow stronger and prepare for the exams, rather than be a nurse for this immature guy, Julian Kingston."
