"Oh no!" Manager Ford stepped back in fear and asked puzzled, "Chairman Lewis, what happened? Why such urgency?"
Thomas Lewis glared fiercely at Manager Ford, angrily saying, "And you have the nerve to ask?"
Manager Ford was startled and quickly asked, "What on earth happened?"
"Hmph!" Thomas Lewis snorted coldly, saying, "Do you know that I listened to you and stood up Damian Knight, and as a result, he imdiately turned to Raymond Yates!"
"Raymond Yates? Young Master Knight actually turned to Raymond Yates? Just because you moved lunch to the evening?" Manager Ford was also very surprised, and sweat began to form on his back.
So, does this an that Young Master Knight is declaring war directly with the Grant Group?
Thomas Lewis was extrely irritable, walking around Manager Ford a few tis before imdiately deciding, "I’ll go to Zale Hotel now to apologize to Young Master Knight."

"Plan?" Thomas Lewis squinted his eyes, "What plan? All your talk on the phone, wasn’t it just to give Damian Knight a warning, so he wouldn’t dare underestimate the Grant Family?"
Manager Ford’s throat caught, knowing he slipped up, he quickly tried to cover up, "Our plan was to give Young Master Knight a warning so that when the young lady marries into the Knight Family, she won’t be wronged."
Thomas Lewis wasn’t a fool, glaring and shouting angrily, "Stop bullshitting ! Tell the truth imdiately, or... I’ll go to Damian Knight right now and tell him you were the ones who made delay the lunch."
Manager Ford’s mouth twitched, he still wanted to hide it, but with a look from Thomas Lewis, two burly bodyguards started walking towards them.
"Chairman Lewis, what are you going to do?"
Thomas Lewis squinted his eyes coldly and said, "I’m giving you one last chance to tell the truth. Otherwise, don’t bla for turning hostile."
Manager Ford was still trying to hold up, he didn’t believe Thomas Lewis would really attack him disregarding the Grant Family’s face, however, the assistant beside Manager Ford couldn’t hold it any longer and spoke up, "Chairman Lewis, I’ll tell you! I’ll tell you everything!"
"You—"
Manager Ford was about to stop him, but it was already too late.
The assistant began to speak, "Actually, Young Master Knight hasn’t developed feelings with the young lady, and there’s even a third party between them. Young Master Knight is currently very involved with that girl and doesn’t want to marry our young lady at all. Madam said pressure must be applied to Damian Knight, only then will he marry our young lady. Chairman Lewis, I’ve told you everything I know, please let go!"
Manager Ford closed his eyes in despair, cursing foolishly in his heart.

Manager Ford surprisingly cald down at this mont.
He took a deep breath, walked up to Thomas Lewis, and said, "Chairman Lewis, the young lady marrying into the Knight Family isn’t just the Grant Family’s business. Once the Grant Family prospers, won’t you benefit as well? And that Raymond Yates won’t be easily trampled under your feet?"
Thomas Lewis gritted his teeth, "You dare say? If it weren’t for you, would I have offended Damian Knight? Would Damian Knight have turned to Raymond Yates?"
Manager Ford placated with a smile, "Chairman Lewis, what’s done is done. You’re in the sa boat as the Grant Family, and aside from helping us, ensuring the young lady marries into the Knight Family, you have no other choice. Don’t you agree? Why can’t we sit down and talk nicely?"
Thomas Lewis squinted his eyes coldly, "Are you threatening ?"
"Don’t put it that way." Manager Ford dared to put a hand on Thomas Lewis’s shoulder, "This is cooperation, not a threat. Think about it, without the Grant Family, could the Lewis Group be as successful as it is today in Rivain? Only if the Grant Group does well, can the Lewis Group do better, don’t you think?"
The implication was clear, without the Grant Family, the Lewis Group wouldn’t survive well either.
"You—"
Thomas Lewis was so furious his scalp tingled, just at this ti, his subordinate ca running to report again—
"Chairman, we’ve found out, Young Master Knight has already signed the contract with Raymond Yates."
"What?!" Thomas Lewis’s eyes instantly turned blood red.
Who doesn’t know that cooperating with the Knight Group is a foolproof deal, such a lucrative opportunity flew away just because of a word from the Grant Family.
How could he be willing to accept this?
"Chairman Lewis." Manager Ford took the chance to approach, "Raymond Yates snagged the Young Master Knight’s project, in the future, without the Grant Family, are you sure you’ll be able to compete with Raymond Yates? Since Young Master Knight has already collaborated with Raymond Yates, except for helping our young lady marry into the Knight Family, you have no other choice."
Thomas Lewis was furious to death, but he still retained his reason.
The Grant Family’s main enterprise was real estate, while his Lewis Group dealt in building materials and contracting projects. Without the Grant Family, his expensive and diocre quality materials wouldn’t sell at all.
Even if he didn’t want to admit it, Lewis Group’s growth over the years indeed relied on the orders from the Grant Family.
With the loss of the Damian Knight project, he truly had no other options besides attaching himself to the Grant Family.
Thinking of this, Thomas Lewis could only grit his teeth and bear the humiliation.
"Then tell , what should I do now!"
Manager Ford smiled and said, "It’s simple! Buy out all the building material raw material production companies in Rivain, the Yates Group’s scale isn’t as big as your company, once they deplete their existing building materials, they won’t have anywhere to source raw materials. By then, won’t Damian Knight be at the rcy of our two families?"
Thomas Lewis said sowhat painfully, "That will cost a lot of money."
"Don’t worry." Manager Ford patted Thomas Lewis on the shoulder, "When they are in a situation where they have no materials to work with, even if you sell at twice the price, they’ll be willing to buy. You’ll only profit, never lose!"
"But what if Damian Knight refuses to co back to ? If I buy out all the raw material production companies and Damian Knight doesn’t co to to buy, I might go bankrupt!"
"That’s impossible." Manager Ford confidently said, "If they ship goods from elsewhere, not to ntion various labor costs, just the freight wouldn’t be worth it. Damian Knight would definitely co to find you as long as he’s not foolish."
Thomas Lewis gritted his teeth, finally making up his mind, "Fine! I’ll go and buy out all the raw material production factories in Rivain now!"
Thomas Lewis said this and hurried off to get busy.
Manager Ford breathed a long sigh of relief and took out his phone to report everything that happened to Chairman Grant.
