Chapter 81: Chapter 81: IS IT REALLY TRUE?

"Mother, I am ho!" the man wearing black stated with a smile as he faced the woman who had carried him for nine months, and raised him to be the man he is today, even though it wasn’t easy.

Sitting on a couch with teary eyes, her hands clenching a hanky, was a middle-aged woman who was dressed elegantly with pearls adorning her neck and ears.

"Amir, my child! You are ho!" she couldn’t help but choke as she looked at the son she hadn’t seen in a very long ti.

Amir felt his heart pang with guilt and sadness as he looked at his mother, one of the people he had managed to hurt in this life.

"Mother, your son had not been filial!" he couldn’t help but bow his head towards her apologetically as he recalled how he had been treating her for the past year.

Bianca choked as she looked at her son, her beloved son, and the first-born son of the Frostcrowns. He was the son she was proud of, not that she didn’t like her other children. But Amir, being the first child she brought into this world, she yearned for him and yet she also knew that what she yearned for was impossible.

"Child ... you ..... it’s not your fault. Don’t bla yourself!" she couldn’t only say as the ugly truth and reality of why the two of them were like this ca to mind.

Amir raised his head and looked at his mother worriedly before he went to the other couch across from her and sat down while maintaining a distance.

"How have you been, all this while?" he asked with a smile as he looked at his mother, who was now wiping away her tears.

Bianca forced a smile on her face, seeing that her son was diverting her attention, which was good as she didn’t know how long it was going to take her to calm down if he didn’t do so.

"Everything has been well except missing you. And you? I heard you went to that continent half around the globe. What were you doing that you took so long?" she asked curiously as she looked at her son.

Although her son was no longer the inheritor of the clan, he was still a businessman. She just didn’t understand why he couldn’t do business in his own kingdom or continent for him to travel to Eastern Idian and remain there for days.

Just because she and her son didn’t et for long didn’t an that she was ignorant about what he was doing. Since she knew that eting with him at tis would be useless, she always made sure that she kept tabs on him. And yet this ti, she didn’t have a clue of what her son was up to.

So, she couldn’t help but be curious.

When Amir heard his mother’s curiosity, he didn’t bla her. After all, as his mother, he was the only child that worried her the most.

He was at a ripe age where he could have a wife, maybe a few mistresses and children, too. And yet in his entire life, before he t his goddess, he had never held hands with any female, kissed, hugged or even done the deed.

So how could she not worry?

But this ti, she didn’t have to worry and age faster anymore. Her son had finally been enlightened, and that destined one had finally co into his life, so how could he continue making her worry?

"Hehe, your son went to find a daughter-in-law for you?" he shalessly responded, as an affectionate smile blossod on his face.

Bianca, when she saw her son being quiet, with complex emotions showing in his gaze, she nearly slapped her mouth for being too talkative, but she couldn’t help it.

But when she saw that complicated gaze turning into sothing, an emotion she was fully knowledgeable about as she loved showing it and always seeing it from her beloved, she was frozen in place, her mind turning several gears at once.

And when she heard what her son had just said out loud, especially with that smile on his face, she couldn’t help but freeze as the words continued to ring in a loop repeatedly, ’Your son went to find a daughter-in-law for you!’

"You ..... Amir .... Son, are you playing with ? Is it really true or you are just trying to make

back off?" she asked with a trembling voice, her expression a bit mixed since she wasn’t really sure what her son was trying to do at that mont.

Amir chuckled heartily when he saw his mother’s reaction. It was not surprising actually for her to act like that. After all, if he was telling his past self about that, he wouldn’t believe himself either.

It was simply impossible, but who can understand what fate and destiny have for each person?

With a smile hanging on his face, Amir repeated what he had just said earlier, adding more information to the mix to make sure that she understood better.

"Mother, I can joke with anything else but this I really can’t do it. Your son finally got blessed. I t my fated one. All my prayers hadn’t been in vain, Mother!" with a happy smile on his face, his eyes full of worship and reverence for that goddess, the goddess that Bianca knew pretty well and had hated for thirty-one years, he said to her.

Upon hearing more information, surely Bianca’s reaction was more comic. Her mouth opened and closed repeatedly as if she was so puppet playing a mouth ga for a while before she exhaled relievedly and monts later, she burst into an unexpected laughter, shocking Amir, who wasn’t expecting her to react suddenly like that.

"Hahaha, I Bianca finally has a day like this!" she slapped her thigh emotionally as tears stread down her cheeks despite the laughter that echoed in the house.

Seeing her reacting like that, Amir had a bad feeling that it was going to be one hell of a ride.

’As long as she is happy!’
