Chapter 193: Chapter 193: THE FIRST WEDDING

The next day, three days before the two-week deadline, at the Hansleys mansion, the place was decorated vibrantly with servants moving up and down, doing the finishing touches.

It was the day of the wedding, and everyone was looking forward to this day, especially how their princess would look like.

She was the center of attraction and the only person they were curious about. As for the son-in-law, what about him?

While the servants were busy with their own things, in different rooms, the family mbers were busy dolling themselves for the wedding.

"Curl there, I want to look pretty today!" Ashely instructed her stylist, as she looked in the mirror as her hair was being done.

The stylist nodded as she followed what Ashely had just recomnded without question.

After working flawlessly together for two years, the two didn’t doubt each other’s vision for the majority of the ti. There were tis, of course, when they didn’t have the sa opinion, but at the end of the day, the final look would always be on point.

Feeling wonderful with her makeup, Ashely started chattering, like the happy chatter she was killing ti, knowing fully that others weren’t done yet. Especially the bride she couldn’t wait to see.

"Dear, have you ever thought of getting married?" Ashely asked curiously at her stylist, who gave her an eye roll after she asked that question.

"What kind of question is that?" she asked as she curled another portion of the hair.

Ashely huffed at the other retorting, "A very normal question!" raising her voice, finding her stylist’s response to be quite unprecedented. "I even want to get married one day and I am younger than you. So, tell , big sis, do you want to get married?" her words were a bit provocative.

The stylist stopped in her tracks as she glared at Ashely, whom she knew was seeking violence, and sighed deeply, "do you think marriage is a joke?" she asked seriously afterwards.

Ashely’s mind began to work overti as she tried to process that question and while she did so, in another room Mitchel and Raize were done with their make-up and change of clothes already.

As biological sisters, they were sitting, relaxing and waiting for the mont to go out. With everyone busy focusing on dolling themselves, it was a waste of ti to go outside now.

"Sigh .... Who would have guessed that I would have to attend a fifth wedding first before I find a partner?" Mitchel sighed heavily as she massaged her throbbing temples at the thought of attending Zara’s wedding.

Raize chuckled as she listened to her sister’s lant. She was twenty-seven years old and had a fiancé on top of that. But her sister was thirty years old and was very single.

Mitchel was a busy woman, and the company seed to take too much of her ti every ti. They were both CEOs of their respective companies and yet they seem to live in a different world.

"Sis, you need to spend less ti in the laboratory. Once you do, and go out there to mingle, you might find yourself an eligible bachelor who suits your taste!" Raize responded seriously as she thought of how her sister was a workaholic and barely had ti for other things.

Mitchel was in charge of the tech branch of the Hansleys Corporation. She was the brain behind many advanced technological breakthroughs happening in Dynalis lately.

It was because of her and the team behind her that they managed to produce the invisible drones which were used by Zara in her broadcasts. The tech company was even involved in so military projects, and all this burden was on her shoulders.

"It’s not like I can just leave the lab as much as I want!"

"You can try to do it. I don’t want you dead because you overwork!"

"Fine, fine. You are like this because you are taken, already!"

"Hehe, then let yourself off the market then!"

The two sisters happily bantered while in another room, Selena’s group was gathered.

Selena was Bradley, and Brexley’s mother, and these two children were her pride. After her divorce from Cade, she never got remarried but focused on herself. At this mont, she was a famous gallery owner, providing the public with so good quality artwork that wowed the world whenever they were exhibitions.

"Rember what I told you before!" Selena stated as she looked at these two grown-up children of hers.

The two siblings nodded, recalling what their mother had repeatedly told them in these past few days.

"Don’t offend, Diamond. If possible, befriend her. It will be very helpful to our family!" Brexley repeated what Selena said before.

Selena smilingly nodded, happy that her children rembered that. Although she was certain that her children might have grievances with what she was doing she couldn’t help it.

When comparing Zara and Diamond, sothing about Diamond made her shudder with fear. She seed to be stronger than Zara. And such a person needed to be brought closer.

Just because she was friends with Zara didn’t an that it was all for them. That was Zara, and this was them. At the end of the day, Cade’s children were all like branches of the sa tree.

Each branch would concentrate on its progress and productivity in the end. Zara was her own branch and one that should be feared. She didn’t dare let Zara occupy Diamond’s friendship all to herself.

She was going to tap into this blessing and make sure that her children and herself benefit from it as well.

After all, it doesn’t hurt to make a few more friends.

Denzel was sitting with his mother, Anne and Irene, who was Ashely’s mother. This combination was truly very disturbing, but at the sa ti, he couldn’t help but feel glad that his mother was at least close to one of his father’s won.

His mother, just like Ashely’s, they were the bane of the official mothers in the Hansley family. They were the famous mistresses, who had a hand in destroying the two first official marriages of his father.

So, seeing them close like this and without fighting much with the forr official wives whenever they t, this was what he called progress.

His mother’s passion was traveling and currently operates a blog with millions of subscribers. She was pretty famous online, and as a son, he was proud of her. And happy that she found sothing that she liked the most.

At least now, she wasn’t chained by the shackles called Cade. Cade was truly a woman’s bane. Thankfully, it was Zara’s mother who managed to ta him and curb his lustful nature.

He didn’t know how today’s wedding was going to be, but he knew that it was going to be a wedding that they would never forget.

After all, when was the last ti that all branches gathered together for an event?
