Chapter 175: Chapter 175: MY LIFE BELONGS TO YOU

Zahrah was talented, and whenever anyone with a sickness ca across her, that person would be healed.

Thanks to her and the effort of the temple, people started believing and supporting the light faction a lot.

Whenever there were plagues or other illnesses that normal people didn’t understand, all they needed to do was climb the staircase and get their healing once they t Zahrah.

Thanks to all this, the dark faction lost badly, and they needed to do sothing about it.

Zahrah barely left the temple. She was so protected, that it was even difficult to et her.

However, to destroy the light faction and give them a fatal blow, Zahrah had to die. So, a plan began to formulate.

Walter was an orphan raised by the dark faction. With his handso face and eloquent tongue, he managed to conquer a lot of people and sent them to their doom.

He beca the perfect candidate to seduce the saintess, let her lower her guard and when the ti cos, use the cursed dagger to stab her.

And that’s exactly what Walter did. When the temple’s security was a bit relaxed, he walked into the temple followed by many who slaughtered anything that they saw until Walter managed to reach Zahrah and stabbed her.

Hearing such words and truth from Walter, Zahrah was no longer in the mood to mock herself or understand why Walter did that to her.

Rather she felt sorry and so much regret that because of her stubbornness, she caused so much damage to the temple, her goddess and above all the innocent people who got slaughtered so that Walter could kill her.

Would she be able to repay such a debt in her life?

However, before leaving the scene, Walter didn’t forget to dash all her hopes.

"Don’t even think that your deity might help you. The dagger I have used is a cursed one. It will never allow you to reincarnate and if you get lucky and get reincarnated in the future, you won’t be able to survive. You are cursed for eternity. And if your deity tries to help you, then she will lose her powers. I am quite curious just how much that deity of yours loves you.

Will she sacrifice her power to save you or just find another vessel? But with this massacre, who will be willing to be associated with you?"

After saying such heartbreaking words, Walter left her to die an agonizing death and one that she would eternally rember.

Zara swore as she watched this unending dream which didn’t seem to want her to wake up anyti. When she finds out about Walter’s incarnation in this life, she is going to make him pay.

If she couldn’t make it and find all the remaining relics, she was going to take that bastard with her.

Since she was dood to die, then he might as well go with her and keep her company. Why should he live when she was dying?

The dream didn’t wait for her complaints but continued.

Zahrah couldn’t move, and her connection to the goddess at this mont seed to be cut. She couldn’t reach her at all and at the sa ti, reaching out to her, she felt so embarrassed and as if she didn’t deserve it.

She had already brought too much harm to the goddess because of her impulsiveness and going against the rules. If she were to let the goddess exhaust her powers for her, who was unfilial, she wouldn’t be able to live.

So, she stopped trying to reach for the goddess and just lay there, waiting for the pain to end and take her life.

She didn’t know how long she was lying there, however ti was indeed trickling by and life was getting seeped out of her.

As she lay there, watching her life from the ti she could recall until now, soone suddenly called out to her, agony and despair in that person’s voice.

"Saintess~~~"

Zahrah and Zara both recognized the voice at once.

The both of them looked towards the ssy Mir who was running toward Zahrah. He was a ss and his face was so pale. Anyone could tell that he was in shock.

When he rushed towards Zahrah, Zara couldn’t help but recall the story of the pendant, the one her grandmother gave her.

It was where this myth behind the pendant happened.

Seeing it in person, she didn’t know how to react. Her mood was complicated and even found herself crying herself into a ss.

When Mir found Zahrah, she was hanging on her last breath.

Zara witnessed as Mir cried his soul out, hugging Zahrah as he confessed his hidden love for her.

Maybe he knew that she was dying and if she died without letting her know his feelings, he would regret it for eternity.

And maybe because he wanted her to know that there was soone out there who loved her so much and not everyone was like Walter, he confessed.

Facing such a confession, Zahrah who was dying found comfort and even her gloominess seed to have vanished at that mont.

With her body starting to disappear, a very startling revelation, she placed her cold hand on his cheek and weakly said to him, "Thank you for loving , Mir. If there is a next life, let us et. For your love in this life, I will surely return it to you when we et!" making a promise she wasn’t certain she would ever make.

Mir cried as his hand covered Zahrah’s listening to her vow.

No matter what he thought, hearing those words was encouraging and comforting. At the sa ti, it made him sour. When soone makes a promise that others know can’t be kept, then it is a lie.

However, he couldn’t help but feel hopeful.

"I will hold you to that!"

"Hehe. I always keep my promises."

"You must fall for

at first sight!"

"And so must you!" as her body continued to disappear, Zahrah retorted back.

Zara felt emotional as she watched this scene.

Whoever passed the folklore in her grandmother’s family, that person was a genius. The story was nearly the sa as what she was seeing.

Seeing Mir’s dedication until the last second Zahrah vanished from his arms, she silently made a vow, "My life belongs to you, Mir. In this life, I will love you and give you my all. We are fated. Didn’t you say so when we first t?"
