Chapter 169: Chapter 169: LEAVING ATHARY

The next day, early in the morning, at the Radiance Manor, it was quite pretty busy.

Zara and her team were preparing to leave, and several cars were already waiting outside.

Amir wasn’t idle either. In fact, he barely slept with all the news he received yesterday.

Never in a million years did he ever think that Zara’s illness was that complicated and man-made on top of that?

As soone who grew up in a sacred land, he understood perfectly well what curses were. They were literally the most pious people, who still dedicatedly worshipped the deities.

The sacred land still has several original temples from millennia ago, protected and guarded by several guardians.

After separating from Zara, Amir spent several hours calling back ho and informing them of what was going to happen.

He couldn’t just bring strangers into the sacred land. But with Zara being his fated partner, she could easily pass. However, doing so without informing the elders would be a great cri.

So, he had to convince his elders, so that they would convince others. This way, by the ti that he and the others reach there, everything would be in order.

Thankfully, his elders had always had trust in him. And this being his first ti pleading for sothing, everything was going to move perfectly.

That morning, Amir knew that he wouldn’t be able to leave on the sa plane as Zara, but he was fine with everything.

Right now, wasn’t the ti to play lovey-dovey. Traveling on different planes was actually good. At least this way, he can issue orders and get so of the job done without being under the radar.

With how worried Zara’s family was, they wanted her to livestream the whole trip, and that would be bad for him.

So, it was the best this way. It wasn’t like they weren’t going to see each other, anyway.

The three private planes, his, Zara’s and Diamond’s, were scheduled to leave in an hour interval. He had prepared everything and passed the relevant information to the authorities, and his plane was going to leave first, followed by Zara’s and then Diamond’s.

Everyone has their schedule.

With his plane leaving in two and a half hours, Amir was done packing and was ready to depart.

Before leaving, he dropped by Zara’s villa where he found everyone busy, but thankfully; they weren’t panicking.

Zara was in the sitting room, covered by warm blankets looking like a fluffy ball and it made his heart warm.

Seeing her smiling as if she wasn’t on a deadline, he didn’t know how to think of that actually, but at least negative thoughts did not overwhelm her. She was optimistic, and that was a good thing.

When hope is all given up, that’s when the real trouble erges. Hope is a good thing. As long as people have a spark of it, then miracles tend to happen.

Besides, wasn’t there Diamond? Who made that kind of miracle happen?

When Zara saw Amir, she couldn’t help but smile brightly at him, ignoring the comnts from fans she had been chatting with a while ago.

"Dear, there you are!" ever since she exposed her relationship during her broadcast the other day, she no longer held back.

With also the knowledge that if it fails, she might die in two months, why should she hide anything?

Just because she had a small stature, didn’t an that she was a child. She was twenty-three years old and girls around her age, so of them have children already.

So, what was wrong with her showing off her man?

Besides, he even t the parents, though it was online. If that wasn’t official, then what else was?

Amir smiled affectionately as he approached the sitting girl, the love of his life and the person he was certain he couldn’t live without if she was gone.

"Morning princess!" he greeted back as he crouched. This way he could see her face to face without her raising her neck.

He didn’t want to see her straining her neck, just to see him. He didn’t mind lowering himself for her.

In his eyes, she was above him and would always be.

Zara flushed shyly, seeing Amir lowering himself like that, but she liked it. At least this way she can see him properly.

"Um. How was your sleep?"

"It was well and yours!"

"Couldn’t be any better!" she cheerfully responded, as if nothing had happened.

Amir sighed with relief upon hearing that and held her hands saying, "I am leaving now!" his gaze staring deep into hers.

Zara pouted as she tilted her head to the side, obviously not happy with the fact that they were separating again.

"I will be waiting for you!" he added, without revealing much. After all. He couldn’t expose her itinerary and let these nosy fans know everything.

Zara still pouted, but her complexion looked much better compared to before.

They might be separating, but they were going to et, so why sulk?

In the end, the viewers watched as the couple played tug for a while, biding each other farewell before Amir left resolutely.

With Amir gone, Zara was silent for a while. The reality of what was happening sank in, sothing that she truly didn’t want to accept despite knowing the truth.

Still, she couldn’t avoid it forever, so she could only sigh, and pat her cheeks lightly to loosen her aching jaws before returning to interacting with the naughty fans who truly were drama queens and kings.

Thanks to them, Zara’s mood was once again uplifted as the servants packed everything, readying to leave.

Thirty minutes after Amir left, it was ti for Zara and her team to check out.

The butler was very friendly and helpful.

Even the General Manager, Hilary, also ca to bid them farewell.

Unfortunately, when Zara boarded the car, she didn’t see any sign of Diamond at all.

Where could she be?

She wondered as the cars descended the mountain.

She just hoped that the other wouldn’t forget what she promised.

As for calling, she wanted to but at the sa ti, she didn’t want to appear as if she was putting pressure on the other.

So, she could only hope that Diamond didn’t have cold feet.
