Chapter 143: Chapter 143: FAREWELL
The next day, everyone in the mansion was pretty busy.
"Don’t make noise, fifth miss is still sleeping!"
"Make sure that all suitcases are taken to the car."
"Is the food ready?"
"Prepare the bath water!"
It was chaotic, with people running around all over that morning.
Around eight, Zara finally opened her eyes and yawned as she stretched her arms while looking around.
’It’s a good morning!’ she cheerfully thought as rang the bell, announcing that she was awake and ready to be served.
Monts later, Emma and Ava walked into the bedroom, and the madness officially started.
After waking up, Zara took a dicated bath and changed into sothing warm, her white hair neatly hidden in the warm hat.
After dressing up, she was taken to the mansion where she ate breakfast with her parents. Since she was leaving, her father didn’t go to the office at all but stayed to accompany her.
The other person who was at ho was Ashely, the other one whose schedule was flexible, unlike the other siblings with a lot on their plates.
After breakfast, Zara needed to digest her food, so she suggested a walk. Instead of being wheeled, she decided to walk. And since she could walk for thirty minutes daily, there was a lot of ti to spare.
Walking in the gardens with her parents and Ashely, Zara was a bit chatty.
"When I am gone, you need to take care of yourselves! Don’t make
worried when I am over there!"
Hearing her nagging like an old woman, Cade’s smile never faded on his face.
It was they who were supposed to be like this and yet the tables seed to have turned. However, the feeling of being taken care of was pretty good. And coming from Zara, it felt even more special.
"Don’t worry, dear. We will take care of ourselves. You better take care of yourself as well!"
"Hehe, don’t worry. I will do so. Even if I don’t, didn’t you send a lot of people to do that for ?" thinking of the number of people her family were putting up with her openly this ti, Zara felt helpless and at the sa ti warm.
She could see her family’s worry about her safety and how much effort they were willing to put into making sure that she traveled safely.
"That better be the case."
"Um. Besides, I will be broadcasting daily, so you will see it for yourself!"
"You are not allowed to spend alone ti with your boyfriend. We haven’t officially t with him. Who knows if he has a fetish?" Cade, thinking about that cradle robber, suddenly warned, making Lena chuckle heartily upon hearing it.
Ashely looked at her father with a dumbfounded expression, finding him a bit too childish for his age.
Wasn’t Zara twenty-three already?
When she started dating, she was in her teens and never once did she hear him saying sothing like this.
If it was before, this comparison and difference in attention would have caused her heartache, but now, she was no longer fazed.
"Dad!" Zara coquettishly complained, her cheeks reddening as her mind spurned scarier tales than anyone else in their small group. How could he say sothing like that?
Lena laughed further seeing her daughter’s bashed expression. She didn’t know what the other was thinking about, but whatever it was, she was just jovial seeing this drama between father and daughter.
Cade felt his heart ache to see his daughter bashing red like that.
"Umph! Make sure that there are people around you. If you spend ti with him alone, I will get rid of the incompetent servants around you!" however he wasn’t to soften his heart.
He hadn’t fully gotten his daughter and yet so cradle robber had started eyeing his daughter already. That black-bellied person even scamd his daughter into a marriage and he didn’t even co to et him. How can he have a favorable impression of him?
Seeing him like that, what more could Zara do expect to agree? After all, she didn’t dare anger this father of hers. As a daughter, she understood his concerns, though they were a bit unreasonable.
As a result, in the next thirty minutes, Zara could only listen to her father helplessly as he gave out a list of unreasonable things, which nearly gave her a headache.
Fortunately, the ti to leave was nearing, so Zara finally managed to escape the claws of her father.
Seeing her relieved expression, Ashely laughed out loud, finding her cuter and pitiable.
If her father had done this to her when she was growing up, who knows if she would have been kicked out of the family for good?
Who could tolerate such nonsense?
At the rate her father was being overprotective, did he expect that Zara would die alone?
Anyway, it felt good seeing him like that. At least, it continued to prove that he wasn’t a cold-hearted man at all. Although most of his affection wasn’t at her or the other kids but at Zara, at least it was there.
And that made Cade, her father, humane. As long as Zara was well, then she would continue to see that bright side of him. So, what was there to hate about Zara? This pitiful creature.
***
After escaping the claws of her father, Zara changed into another outfit, got dolled up and was soon taken out of the villa.
Zara wasn’t taking the public plane but the family’s private plane. Although taking it would still take ti, it was better than using a public one.
Who knows what this passenger was carrying or suffering from?
So, with all preparations done, several SUVs left the Hansley mansion and, sitting in a black limousine, were Zara, Ashely and their parents.
On their way, the four of them chatted happily, though their conversation mainly revolved around Zara and how she should take care of herself while she was away.
They also didn’t forget to remind her to broadcast even on the plane.
Knowing her parents, Zara could only agree. It wasn’t like she wasn’t used to broadcasting. Besides, chatting with others on flight sounded fun and it would make her less lonely or bored.
After being on the road for goodness how long, the cars finally reached the airport.
And those seeing the entourage couldn’t help but wonder what was going on. After all, it wasn’t every day that they got to see sothing like this.
With a lot of security guards paving the way, Zara successfully boarded the family private plane for the first ti.
Seeing the big plane, she couldn’t help but click her tongue in wonder.
’My family is indeed rich!’ she felt amused and amazed at the sa ti.
It felt pretty good to be rich and have access to all this.
