Chapter 101: Chapter 101: UNEXPECTED MISHAP
"Before I talk about the trip, most of you think that I recklessly went to. I need to start with what made
do so in the beginning."
"Soti around March, I had a dream, a very long dream. However, until now, I still find that dream hazy. I can’t really recall what I saw there, but I rember one thing very clearly and it was thanks to that, that I am here breathing for long like this."
Hearing up to that point, the whole Hansley family mbers started concentrating.
"In my dreams, I saw a lady. I couldn’t see her face properly, but that is not the issue here. That lady told
that I was dying and if I wanted to live, I needed to do as she instructed. If I don’t follow her instructions, my destined fate is going to be fulfilled."
"Knowing that if I didn’t follow her, I would die and yet if I follow, there was a slim chance of living. I decided to do as she asked. Although I had an inkling that it might be my subconscious trying to find a way for
to find hope, I decided to trust the lady in my dream."
"Besides, her instructions weren’t that much and didn’t require
to shed blood, so why not give it a chance? With that in mind, I started to plan for the future," with a smile on her face, Zara narrated as she recalled how strange it was for her back then when she received the Golden Book.
"You ...... sniff ....Is that why you went on that trip despite the dangers you might have faced by leaving the safe zone of this place?" Lena asked, sniffing, her eyes teary as she looked at her daughter, thinking that it must have been very hard on her.
Zara smiled reassuringly at her mother and held her hand with hers before continuing.
"The lady told
to travel to Lingren village to retrieve a ring. As long as I get that ring, my first step towards breaking the curse of unknown illness which had rendered
useless and made
a pathetic human being."
"So, what if I had to risk my life to fetch that ring in that unknown village? As long as I could get a chance to live, I was determined to get it. However, knowing my state and how I might et a misshape because of my rashness, especially without informing the elders, I decided to broadcast my journey."
"At least in this manner, my family mbers could see how I was doing without worry. Although it was embarrassing in the beginning, for the sake of soothing the hearts of those who remained, I endured. And as ti went on, I started enjoying it."
"While I am talking about this, I want to say that I am sorry for being a bit reckless by broadcasting myself. I don’t know how this might have impacted the family but I couldn’t think of anything at that ti except of that!" Zara apologized, as she felt sorry for how rash she was.
If her family’s enemies ca across her and sohow matched her as Hansley’s daughter, she wasn’t sure how that would end.
"If you know that you would put the family into jeopardy, why bother doing it in the first place?" Selena chided as she gave Zara a disapproval gaze.
Bang!
Suddenly, the table was slapped, and the impact was so loud that everyone nearly jumped out of their seats.
Zara, on the other hand, placed her small hand against her chest as her face paled from the sudden bang.
Thump. Thump.
And her heart was racing very wildly. If it was before she got the spiritual water, wouldn’t she have gotten a heart attack by now?
However, the culprit wasn’t seeing Zara’s state at that mont, as he was busy with sothing else.
"Selena, I have tolerated you enough. If I hear you utter another word again, you will be banned from entering this mansion!" Cade angrily yelled at Selena who was clenching her fists, not willing to back down.
However, Brexley held her mother’s hand, motioning for her to not do anything.
"I don’t care if we fight day and night, Selena, but don’t you dare try to put the family’s interests over my daughter’s life. How dare you utter such nonsense when you heard clearly that what my baby did was to save her life? Does it make you itch so much to see my baby living? Could it be you are the one who caused all this to happen?" Lena was tired of tolerating Selena.
Finding an opportunity to scold the old lady since Cade had opened the way, she began to pour out her heart.
On the other hand, while the parents were angry, Ava and Emma were panicking after seeing Zara’s pale face.
Not knowing what to do, whether to inform the two angry parents, Ashely saved the day.
"Stop it, all of you! Can’t you see that she is hurting?" Ashley yelled angrily at everyone, pointing her well-manicured finger at Zara whose expression hadn’t recovered yet.
Upon hearing that, Lena and Cade’s attention quickly shifted to Zara and surely, the little girl didn’t seem well at all.
"Baby .... I ....."
Seeing that things were getting out of hand, Emma gritted her teeth as she sped to where Zara was and hurriedly said, "Madam, Miss has been startled and is currently in shock. I am afraid that I need to bring her to the villa. She needs to take dicine, rest and calm down. We all don’t want anything happening at this mont!" imploring not only to Lena but to Cade.
Lena turned to look at Emma, whose gaze didn’t seem right and it made her flinch and grit her teeth. "You ....."
"Let them take her away! Her health is more important than anything else. Also, call the doctors over!" Cade interrupted before Lena could finish her sentence.
With Cade’s green light, both Emma and Ava worked pretty quickly and in harmony. And under the surveillance of many, the two took Zara away, leaving a room filled with gloominess.
The atmosphere felt deadly, but above all; it felt as if it was a war zone and a battle was about to be fought.
"Now that you have angered my darling to that point, what else do you have to say, Selena?"
