Devancier had wandered the lands of the afterlife for what felt like an eternity, searching, yearning, and hoping.

He had always believed that the love he shared with Alishiera was not bound by the constraints of ti or death.

His heart, though heavy with loss, never ceased to long for her, and now, standing in the vast, ethereal plane, he finally felt the faint stirrings of her presence.

The afterlife was unlike any world he had known.

It was neither filled with light nor heavy with shadow, it was a place suspended in ti, where the boundaries between life and death blurred.

Here, there were no kingdoms to govern, no battles to fight, no people to lead.

It was a realm of pure existence, where souls found peace, or perhaps, where they waited for a new purpose to be born.

Devancier had never stopped searching for her.

He had walked through endless fields of mist, climbed mountains that reached toward an invisible sky and crossed oceans that shimred with the reflection of stars long gone.

Every step he took was guided by the mory of Alishiera’s face, her voice, and the love that had bound them together. And after what felt like an eternity, he finally found her.

She stood there, bathed in a soft, golden light, a presence both familiar and distant.

Her silver hair shimred like moonlight, and her erald eyes glowed with a warmth that Devancier thought he would never see again.

His breath caught in his chest, and for a mont, he simply stared at her, unable to believe that this was real.

"Alishiera," he whispered, his voice trembling. "Is it really you?"

Her gaze softened, and a smile, tender and filled with longing, appeared on her lips.

"Devancier," she replied, her voice like a lody he had longed to hear. "I knew you would co."

He took a step forward, his heart pounding in his chest, and then another until he was standing right before her.

He reached out, hesitating for just a mont, as if afraid she would vanish if he touched her.

But then, with a sigh of relief, he gently cupped her face, feeling the warmth of her skin beneath his fingers.

"I’ve searched for so long," he said, his voice thick with emotion. "I thought I had lost you forever."

Alishiera closed her eyes at his touch, a soft tear slipping from the corner of her eye.

"You never lost , Devancier. Our love transcends ti, just as it transcends life and death. I’ve always been with you, even when you could not see ."

The words hit him like a wave, crashing over him with an intensity that left him breathless. He could feel the depth of her love in her words, in the way she gazed at him.

It was as if their souls had never truly parted, as if this was the mont they had both been waiting for.

"But why?" he asked, his voice breaking slightly. "Why did we have to go through so much? Why was our ti together cut short?"

Alishiera’s smile was bittersweet as she took his hand in hers, her fingers intertwining with his.

"So things are not ant to be understood, Devancier. We were born to fulfill a purpose, and our love was a part of that purpose. But now, in this mont, we are free. Free from the burdens of life and death. Free to simply exist, to be together."

Devancier nodded slowly, his heart heavy with both sorrow and peace.

"I have searched for you, for so long. I thought I could not live without you, that I could not bear the pain of your absence. But now, here you are. I don’t want to let go of you again. I never want to be apart from you."

Alishiera leaned her forehead against his, her breath warm against his skin.

"And you won’t, Devancier. We will be together again, in the next life. When the ti is right, we will find each other once more. It is our destiny. No force in this world, or the next, can ever break the bond we share."

Devancier closed his eyes, allowing the peace of her words to wash over him. He had always believed in their love, and now, more than ever, he knew that their connection was eternal.

They had been separated by death, but that was not the end. It was only the beginning of a new chapter, one where they would reunite, stronger and more certain of their love than before.

"We will be reborn, won’t we?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Alishiera nodded, her hand resting on his chest.

"Yes. We will be reborn, and when we are, we will find each other. Our souls will recognize one another, just as they always have. It is written in the stars, Devancier. This is not the end. This is only the beginning of our journey together."

Devancier swallowed hard, the weight of her words sinking deep into his heart. "And when we are born again, what will we be? Who will we be?"

She smiled softly, her eyes filled with a knowing light.

"That is a mystery we will discover when the ti cos. Perhaps we will be different, perhaps we will be the sa. But what matters is that we will be together. In this life or the next, our love will never fade. It will only grow stronger."

Devancier’s heart swelled with love for her, and for the first ti in what felt like forever, he allowed himself to believe that everything would be okay.

Their love was not bound by ti, by life, or by death. It was eternal, and nothing could ever change that.

"I will wait for you," he promised, his voice full of conviction. "I will wait for you in every lifeti, in every world. And when we find each other again, I will never let you go."

Alishiera’s smile deepened, and she pressed a soft kiss to his forehead.

"And I will wait for you, Devancier. No matter how long it takes, no matter where we are. Our love will guide us back to each other."

They stood there in the afterlife, wrapped in each other’s embrace, knowing that this was not the end.

It was only a brief parting, a promise to find each other again in the next life. And when they did, they would be stronger, wiser, and even more in love than before.

The world around them seed to fade as if the air itself was holding its breath.

Ti stood still, and for a mont, there was nothing but the two of them, together once more, as it was always ant to be.

"Did you wait long?" Devancier asked softly, his voice filled with tenderness.

Alishiera smiled, her eyes filled with love. "I waited for you, Devancier. And I always will."
