The only thing they could do now was to insist that the results were falsified.

Qin Man couldn’t stop the bitter feeling in her heart. There was no way she was going to turn into a useless mother under their watchful gaze. There was no way that damned girl would surpass her.

He clapped his hands and the servants hurried into the kitchen.
As soon as he was done pacifying the crowd, he headed over to the mother-and-daughter pair. His eyes narrowed. “The two of you better behave yourselves,” he snarled. “One more foot out of the line and you’re done for.”
His other hand was clenched into a fist.
If they spoke any more nonsense, he’d definitely teach them a lesson.
Qin Man could feel the coldness of his gaze, and her body trembled. She turned to look at her disappointing daughter, and her face contorted to that of a scowl.
If it hadn’t been for her, she wouldn’t be embarrassed like this!
She scowled.
She had thought that her daughter was capable if she had been able to get into Yang Ming’s good books, but she didn’t expect that she’d embarrass the entire Yao Family in just one day. What did she raise her for?
Yao Ran froze.
“Yes.”
If she did anything shaful, she was sure that her father would plan to bring Yao Tang back. That was the last thing she wanted. Her jaw clenched.
This ti, she had miscalculated!
How was she supposed to know that Yao Yan would be this shaless?
However, just the thought of the man beside her made her slightly relieved.
Yang Ming had already signed an agreent with her. That ant that their marriage was solidified. If she were to beco the wife of Director Yang, even Yao Yuan would co to respect her.
She took a deep breath.
Qin Man, however, wasn’t the slightest bit comfortable as she heard the ladies’ disparaging comnts and felt their mocking gazes.
They really were annoying!
A bunch of rude backstabbers!
She couldn’t bear to stand here any longer.
How could they disrespect the Yao Family in their household?
She scowled.
The more Qin Man thought about it, the more furious she beca. Her chest constricted as she felt the need to head out of the hall.
Thus, she followed her heart.
As she walked, there was an endless stream of people surrounding her. All of them were holding different kinds of gifts in their hands. When they saw her, they quickly bowed their heads in greeting. “Qin Man, how are you doing?”
Fortunately, not everyone was ungrateful to her!
It was Yao Yan’s fault!
As she walked, she ran into a few other won. While they didn’t know Qin Man personally, she was still considered one of the hosts. That’s why they remained polite and cordial.
After talking to them for a while, she found herself standing at the entrance of the hall.
There, she saw two tall n who were presiding over the guests. They were the ones collecting their invitations one after the other.
They quickly bowed their heads.
“Madam Yao is here!”
In their eyes, they all know how strict Qin Man had always been. So they were already used to her narrowed eyes and pursed lips.
She only nodded in reply.
She couldn’t care any less about them.
Chatting with these servants was just a waste of ti.
There was a cold expression on her face, making it even more difficult to approach her. The two n quickly reverted back to their ordinary positions, looking straight ahead.
They were afraid of losing their jobs.
She slowly glanced at the list. “These are the ones who would attend today?”
“Yes, Madam. That’s all.”
A slightly older reception attendant replied.
