With a cut from that knife, he was going to die.

Yao Tang pressed the blade against his skin, and he winced. A playful smile slipped into her lips as she stared up at him.
Her cold gaze was fixated on the man.
A chill shot down his spine. Despite her young age, there was sothing about her icy tone and murderous gaze that made him shake.
He gulped.
What was he going to do now?
“Great Elder!”
“Let go of him!”
“Don’t hurt him!”
The three strong n surrounding him all took out their blades, glaring at Yao Tang.
The three of them were bodyguards that the elder had specifically placed by his side.
They were there to protect him while he was cultivating his spiritual power. After all, he was old. He wouldn’t be able to balance both his spiritual and physical power in a battlefield.

“You’re the one who bribed the driver to bring us here. You’re also the one who screwed us over by wanting to kill us, and now you’re asking what I want?” Yao Tang scoffed.
Seeing her icy gaze, Elder Nie choked, at a loss for words.
