Chapter 758: An Unexpected Weapon
Why were all of his n lying on the ground wailing?
Yet, the three of the people he had surrounded weren’t even injured in the slightest. His hands were trembling as he glanced over at the two n.
Where did this group of people co from?
Suddenly, a thought popped up in the back of his mind, and his heart skipped a beat. He couldn’t help but glance at the wavy roads.
Could this be a trap to lure them out?
Or was the information he had been given wrong? Was this girl not a disciple of the inner sect, but a bodyguard who had been tasked to protect these n?
No matter what it was, they were going to die if they end it like this!
“Quick! See if there are any people around hiding,” he commanded the two n behind him. “If you find anyone, co back and inform ,”
The leader imdiately sent his n to the back to gather more information. Before that, he turned to the side to stare at Yao Tang.
It was likely that their plan had been exposed.
Yao Tang was the bait that the Music Association had to specifically deal with them. That was it! That was why she was so strong.
Two minutes later, his n jogged back.
“Boss, there aren’t any people around,” his subordinate quickly said, bowing.
Okay. He heaved a sigh of relief.
If their plan really was exposed, then they’d suffer even greater losses.
Even then, he continued to watch his people beco surrounded by Yao Tang and the others. The two n were hiding behind the young woman, as his other subordinates backed away—scared of what she might do to them.
“Everyone! Listen up!”
The man sneered. “Focus all your firepower on the n. Capture them first, and this bitch would back down.”
“Yes, boss!”
Everyone imdiately ran to the two n one after the other. They were all swinging their batons. Their teeth were bared out, and their eyes were narrowed. They had suffered many losses, but they wouldn’t experience the sa loss today!
At that mont, President Tan was exhausted.
He wasn’t young anymore. He had used up a lot of energy to attack the previous n, and he already felt like he couldn’t walk anymore. He winced.
Tan Jian gritted his teeth, exhausted from the fight.
However, if this continued, they’d be able to overwhelm Yao Tang. They’d even be used to threaten her!
If that were to happen, then they wouldn’t be able to escape!
President Tan didn’t want his disciple to die here!
No!
He struggled to stand up. “Tangtang, leave!” he yelled out. “Don’t worry anymore. If you still really regard as your teacher, then go and don’t look back. You’re our greatest hope!”
Tan Jian nodded rapidly. “Leave!”
One of the n rushed up with a baseball bat in his hand. He was about to hit Tan Jian!
Yao Tang was quick on her feet.
She reached out for a few things from her pockets and chucked it at them.
Whoosh!
Everyone fell to the ground, one after the other.
Tan Jian furrowed his eyebrows at the objects being thrown.
What were they? Why did they look familiar?
His eyes widened.
Initially, he had thought that the small objects she was throwing over were fatal weapons. They must’ve been so powerful to have been able to get rid of all the n in one swoop.
To his surprise, she was actually throwing candy!
One of the objects thrown were the biscuits!
The elders had stuffed all the biscuits and snacks they had in Yao Tang’s hands while they were saying their goodbyes. They were afraid that she’d be hungry on the way, so they tried their best despite the circumstances.
He didn’t expect it to co in handy!
It had even beco a tool to hurt the others!
The man in black gazed at the scene in surprise. He looked back and saw that the man he had called out has fallen. They had lost a few more people. He clenched his fists.
“Hurry up and take them hostage!” The leader snarled. “They don’t even know the slightest bit about martial arts.”
Ha! These n really were useless!
One of the n tried to hit President Tan with his baton, but Yao Tang blocked it once more.
