Chapter 749: Secretly Probing
Yao Ran carefully walked to ng Ling’s side, before carefully placing the blanket over her wrist. Her eyes shown with concern, and her actions were slow and cautious.
“Does your wrist still hurt?” she asked slowly, glancing up at the doctor. “Did they use the special dicine? How many more days would it take before she can remove that bandage and move around normally?”
She was obviously secretly probing for more information about this dicine.
She obviously wanted to know the effects of this dicine, but with so many people around her, she had no way of knowing this on her own.
Yao Ran might as well ask openly about it today.
Besides, if she didn’t find out about the truth now, then Qin Man might already kick her out and leave her alone. Her fingernails dug deeper into her palm.
Upon hearing this, Madam ng suppressed the urge to roll her eyes.
The doctor standing by ng Ling’s side appeared serious, nodding along with her words. “Miss ng is using the dicine specially designed for her, but it wouldn’t be the sa as the one you’re taking,” he replied. “We will still adjust the dosage according to the location of your injury as well as the extent of its injury.”
In reality, ng Ling didn’t use any special dicine. He had only applied the special ointnt they usually used for sore muscles.
Yao Ran was actually the first person to use the dicine.
“If you don’t believe in our hospital’s dical skills, we can just find soone else to treat your daughter,” Madam ng spoke up. “I don’t even know why you’d waste ti doubting us. We wouldn’t mind it if you’d just leave.”
ng Ling also turned away.
Qin Man imdiately stepped forward, shooting her daughter a look. “Ranran’s just concerned about her friend,” she said quickly. “She doesn’t an anything else. Please don’t think too much about it. Ranran, apologize now!”
The last thing she wanted was a crippled daughter all her life!
It would be so embarrassing!
Moreover, if her daughter was actually a cripple, the entire community would badmouth her. The Yao Family would officially be excluded by them.
She had always been so proud of her daughter, but now…
She just couldn’t be a cripple!
There were still so many things she was looking forward to in Yao Ran’s future. She was still to marry into a big family and beco a wife. Only then would her position in the circle beco much more stable.
“Yes, yes, I was only asking for Lingling’s sake, nothing else!” Yao Ran hurriedly replied, waving her hands up in the air. “If it wasn’t for your kindness, I wouldn’t have had this chance to the receiver. Please forgive , I didn’t an to doubt you!”
“This is more like it!”
ng Ling scowled.
At this point, Yao Ran had no other choice. Qin Man?already accepted the opportunity Madam ng?had granted her and prepared for her to stay in the hospital for further observation.
“I’ll leave Ranran to the hands of your dical team!” Qin Man?smiled brightly, not worried at all.
Yao Ran could only nod in thanks.
Perhaps she was only overthinking it. The ng Family had nothing to gain from her.
If she went back and proceeded with the normal procedures, then she would have to undergo dozens of painful operations. Plus, there was no guarantee that she’d be able to recover.
She couldn’t help but shiver at the thought of the pain.
Yao Ran might as well receive the treatnt here!
Perhaps, after using the special dicine concocted by their dical team, she might be able to recover even more quickly. Only then would she not suffer.
Even if the special dicine wouldn’t be able to make her recover quickly, she could always go into surgery.
It was why she had agreed to stay there in their ward.
The ward appeared quite good.
Although it couldn’t be compared to ng Ling’s room, the room appeared to be quite spacious still. There was even an extended room with all the necessary facilities she could need, along with the accompanying nurses and physicians.
“I’m relieved that Ranran is in much better care. Thank you so much,” Qin Man?thanked her again.
Seeing that she had achieved her goal, Mrs. ng was much friendlier. She glanced over at Qin Man. “Why don’t I arrange for you to stay in our hotel? You’ll be more comfortable there,” she said slowly. “It’s also very close to the hospital, so it might be more convenient for you to co over.”
“I’ll have a friend from now on,” ng Ling said happily. “Don’t worry, Auntie, I’ll take good care of her.”
She nodded repeatedly, obviously in a very good mood.
Once she was admitted to the hospital, she’d have more freedom to herself. Qin Man wouldn’t have to string a cripple along and embarrass herself even further!
