“I felt compelled to enroll my younger brother in your school. At least temporarily, for the sake of his grades.”

Contrary to her expectation, the director grew even more confused by her words.

She had been praising their teachers just a mont ago, and now she was saying that it had been a bunch of students who ran the lecture. What exactly happened?

Besides, when had the students even managed to organize online redial classes?

The competition within the campus was fierce as it was, and they were constantly given howork and advanced readings. Who would have the ti for extracurricular activities such as this?

More importantly, why would they bother with a collective initiative when the overall goal was to stand above the rest?

But it didn’t look like Li Yuewas bluffing at all. Not only had a bunch of students participated in a redial class, but it was also successful enough to convince her to have her brother transferred all the way fromCity F.

The director didn’t think he had t any student from the school who would be capable of pulling this off.

He wondered if Li Yuehad possibly made a mistake. Perhaps those students weren’t fromCity ANo. 1 High Schoolafter all.

And yet, in the face of the young lady’s seal, he found himself clearing his throat and going along with her presumptions. “Yes, well… the students here are indeed a force to be reckoned with. They are very united, so to speak. We do encourage such camaraderie, as it contributes to a better learning atmosphere.”

As he spoke, his thumbs were busily typing a ssage on his phone under his desk. He sent it to the school faculty’s group chat.

“Urgent matter! Are there any students conducting online redial lessons? Which class are they from? If anyone is aware of this, let know right away!”

No sooner had he sent it than he received several replies from different teachers.

......

“Online redial lessons? How is that even possible when they can barely finish the test papers we give them for howork?”

“Is it a private arrangent or sothing? Does it even have an effect on the students’ performance? I’m pretty sure they’re just getting together to have so fun after school.”

“I’m not aware of this, but I don’t think they’re breaking any rules.”

The director read the ssages and nodded to himself.

They were right on all counts. Ti was incredibly tight at the mont; the students shouldn’t have any to spare for such an activity.

But then again, Li Yuewouldn’t have co all this way over a baseless coincidence.

The director quickly sent another ssage to the group.

“Maybe it’s nothing like a formal lecture, just a group of students sharing their learning with each other. How about that, have you heard of sothing like this? Hurry and tell !”

He followed it up with the big, red exclamation marks emoji.

The director then put his phone away and diverted his attention back to Li Yue. All this ti, she had been complinting that one student from said online lecture.

He smiled and nodded along complacently. “Indeed, that is true. Our students are doing very well.”

Deep inside, however, he was slowly spiraling into a panic. He didn’t even know who this student was, which class he was from, or who his Math teacher was.

Heck, he wasn’t even sure if the student really was from their school.

Just then, his phone vibrated with another ssage from one of the teachers.

“An online group sharing? Class 20 has done sothing like this before. I also heard that they were holding reviews alongside their self-study practice. I don’t know if this is true, though. Can you confirm it for us, Teacher Xi? @Xi Yan.”

Xi Yan was holding a class at the mont, though, so she wasn’t able to see the ssages on the group.

But the rest of the teachers were quick to chi in.

“Oh, right, Class 20. I’ve also heard talk about a lecture after class, but I didn’t think it was online. I thought it was just a group study or sothing.”

The director’s eyes lit up, but it didn’t last very long.

As far as he rembered, no one in Class 20 was particularly good at Mathematics to the point that they would be able to give lectures to their classmates.

He pondered the matter yet again.

And then, a na popped up in his mind.

Yao Tang!

The girl ranked first place in the entire grade the mont she transferred to their school, and she had even scored full marks in the recent Math Olympiad.

If it was her, then it all made sense.

The director leaned over his desk and looked at Li Yuewith laser focus. “This student who conducted the lecture, it’s a girl, right? Tell , did she sound cold, almost aloof?”

He didn’t know Yao Tangwell himself, but she had left a lasting impression on him.

After all, her grades were outstanding, and she had a personality unlike anyone he had ever t before. It showed in her deanor and the way she interacted with the people around her.

So if there was anything distinct about Yao Tang, other than her gorgeous appearance, it would be her cool and distant voice.
