“Yao Tang, you’re a good classmate of mine, and I know that when we left, the class was adamant about getting us back. But you’ve seen my grades. I can’t drag down the entire class.”
Lu Ming took a deep breath. “If you’re using the excuse of curing to get to leave later, then I’ll still have to leave.”
If their class average wasn’t good enough, it would be like a slap to Teacher Xi’s face.

“I’m not lying to you.” Yao Tang’s eyes were filled with determination. Crossing her arms over her chest, she tilted her head. “I can really cure you in three rounds.”
“If you say so.”
He had no other choice but to agree.
It wasn’t like he had any other choice. Besides, he couldn’t really get any worse from where he was right now. He might as well give her a chance.
With a deep breath, he relaxed in his seat.
“Follow my movents.” Yao Tang motioned for him to co over before tilting his head. “In the classroom, you’ve recovered more of your cognitive abilities, right? Or am I mistaken?”
His eyes widened.

Other than Yan Yu and a couple of other n, he told no one else of this.

Had she gotten the information from soone else? But that was impossible!
He frowned. In reality, his cognitive ability had improved when Yao Tang transferred to No. 1 High School. During the city-wide joint examination, he really felt like he was becoming better.

Lu Ming’s eyes widened. “It’s you?”
“Wait, never mind. Don’t answer that.”
He had already lowered his expectations after everything that had happened, not wanting to be left disappointed once more.

In their response, Yao Tang turned around and grabbed a ceramic bottle from the other end of the table.
Turning the bottle to the side, a black pill fell on his hand.

However, before he could make any comnts about the pill, Yao Tang crushed it in her hand. Imdiately, the pill crumbled into powder before disappearing all around them. It was as if the pill had dissolved into thin air.
Qin Rui and Lu Minggaped at the sight.
A few seconds later, he glanced up anxiously. “You’re saying this is enough to cure ?”
It disappeared just like that?

When Yao Tang heard this, she tilted her head and read one of the articles she had on hand. As soon as she did, she looked up at him. “Do you mind repeating what I just said?” she questioned.
“Yao Tang, what are you—”
Before Qin Rui could interrupt, Lu Mingobediently repeated the words as if he was just reading the article in front of him.

“You’ll do fine.”
Qin Rui’s jaw dropped. Fine? It was fine? Did she just heal Lu Ming’s brain injury?
