As soon as he was called, the shop assistant stepped forward almost imdiately and proceeded with the preparations to wrap everything up.
Cheng Yan, who had entered the fold per Yao Tang’s instructions, easily moved even closer to her.
“You’re okay, right?” He held her hand. “What happened? Why are the security guards here?”
She simply shook her head in response.
“It’s just a small scuffle, sir. Please don’t worry. Our security guards have been trained from the best of the best, and we will protect all of our Diamond Holders,” the uniford man explained.
As they were speaking, the shop assistant had already completed all the packing. “Thank you for shopping with us,” he said, handing them the goods.
However, when he saw that they were empty-handed, he pursed his lips.
“What happened? I thought you were off to Tian Run Mall to buy a present for the Qin Family? It’s for their eldest daughter, correct?”
“I was supposed to!” Qin Man scowled. “But that Yao Tangbrat got in the way again! We’ve co across her at Tian Run Mall, and I tried my best to persuade her to return ho, but she had kicked out! She pulled out this strange card and ordered the guards to drag out if I didn’t.”
“It’s so embarrassing, Dad!” Yao Ran sniffled, bowing her head.
Qin Man’s voice was practically crackling with anger as she chucked her bag onto the sofa. She crossed her arms over her chest.
“I am her mother. Does she really think I want to harm her?”
Her voice was as clear as day, but it felt like lightning had struck inside the household. Yao Yuan staggered backward, and he inhaled sharply.
Within a few seconds, he hurriedly grabbed onto his wife’s wrist. “You heard him clearly?” he quickly said. “You’re saying that she’s a Black Gold Diamond Card mber? You’re sure about that?”
“Ah...yes.” Despite her agreent, Yao Yuan still glanced at his daughter for affirmation.
Yao Ran hesitated for a bit before nodding. “It’s a black and diamond-encrusted card,” she said. “As soon as the security guards had seen it, they imdiately ran over to stand by Yao Tang.”
Interesting. A dark light flashed in his eyes.
If Yao Tang was really the holder of such a legendary card, then it would surely do so much more than that. Not only would it grant him the prestige he needed, but also shoot his career prospects to the sky!
His gaze beca much more determined.
“Continue to persuade Yao Tang to return,” he ordered. “This ti, instead of taking her by force, have her co back willingly.”
