Qin Man took a deep breath. In ti, she’d hire a few n to lock Yao Tang in the house. They wouldn’t let her drink or even eat! Let’s see just how strong she would be.
After all, they had a basent they could use just for this specific purpose.
After being beaten down to a pulp, what strength would she have left? She’d simply be a lifeless marionette who’d bend to her wishes.
Plus, Yao Tang could be a great tool for the marriage alliance with the Qin Family.
At the thought, a small smirk threaded across Qin Man’s lips.
Yao Tang, despite her shortcomings, was still the daughter of the Yao Family. She must fulfill her duties. After all, should she not repay her parents for giving her the gift of life?
Surrounding them were people discussing animatedly, glancing at them from ti to ti.
“Damn, I’ve really misjudged her!”
“And here I thought it was sothing else. Turns out the mother is simply educating her own daughter! Let’s just leave them alone.”
“The girl looks so...so pure,” one of them even uttered, gazing at Yao Tang. “She’s also dressed in high-end clothing. Why would she have to sell her body?”
“She’s so beautiful. It’s a pity that she acted like this.”
“Ergh, she’s a lost cause.” One sneered, whipping her head to face another direction. “It serves her right. After all, such a conceited woman like her should be disciplined. Ha! She wouldn’t survive a day or two in a city like this.”
All of them were discussing Yao Tang as if they knew her entire biography.
Upon seeing the situation unfolding before them, the shop assistant couldn’t help but feel a little bit uncomfortable and confused.
This “Yao Tang” seed like she was keeping to herself when these two won just ca in to insult her. But how was he going to react? They obviously looked like they were well-acquainted with one another.
What was he going to do?
The store manager couldn’t really be bothered as he sat behind the cashier counter. As more and more people crowded around the young woman, he only felt excited and satisfied.
With so many people here, they’d definitely spend a ton! He’d be turning over an entire week’s worth of expenses in just one day!
He couldn’t care any less whether or not soone was getting bullied.
More and more people started surrounding Yao Tang.
The girl, who had just picked out a small velvet box, turned around only to realize that a crowd of people was surrounding her. Despite having headphones in, she could make sense of the movent of their lips. She resisted the urge to snort as their gazes bored down her back.
Was she being picked on, yet again?
She glanced at Qin Man who was standing beside her. With a sigh, she took off her earphones.
Her earphones were one of the top models in the world. Naturally, they were the best of the best with great durability and insulation.
It was why she couldn’t hear the voices around her. That, and she couldn’t really be bothered to listen to another round of their continuous bullshit. Rolling her eyes, she looked up.
God, just the sight of them was enough to sicken her.
She was tired.
Instead of paying attention to them, she tightened her grip on the gift box and tried to search for an exit. Yet, it seed that the entire posse had her cornered.
Even the shop assistant by the corner couldn’t go through at all.
Yao Tang pursed her lips.
The security guards by the store imdiately saw the crowd of people coming in. With batons in their hands, three to four of them ca over to see what the fuss was about.
Their gazes swept the area for any impending threat, but there was one appearance that made them freeze.
The girl in the middle of the room slowly pulled out her card and waved it toward them.
The card was black with shiny diamonds encrusted on the top.
It was obvious that the diamonds weren’t cheap, and from the small engravings, it certainly wasn’t a fake either.
Being mbers of the Tian Run Mall, every security guard had been continuously reminded by the upper managent of their card system.
The card system was a way for the staff to identify who was their most important client, and who should be given first-class service. It was what made Tian Run Mall the shopping place for the elite.
Basically, the mbership card was a way to proclaim status and privileges.
The mbership system had been divided into five cards – the ordinary white, silver, gold, black and gold, and of course, the supre black and gold diamond card. Or the Diamond Card, to put it simply.
While many had seen the first four kinds, the Diamond Card was rarely seen by the public. It was so rare that many believed that no one had the power to acquire one. That was, until today.
