Chapter 889: Chapter 883: Freeze! Hands Up

Another fifty nautical miles to go, and just as they were nearing the Port of Agora, the Megalodon was targeted by a destroyer with no flag.

A destroyer is a multi-purpose warship. Adrian thought it might be a warship from some government.

"Why is a destroyer chasing us?" Brandon asked, puzzled.

Sabrina chewed gum while observing through binoculars, "Damn, it really is after us.

Could it be because I tortured Mercer to death?"

"..."

"No way, wasn’t Mercer a pirate? How could pirates cooperate with government forces?"

Brandon couldn’t make sense of the situation either, but being chased by such a destroyer was certainly uncomfortable.

"Sixth Master, what should we do?"

"Let them witness the performance of the Megalodon!" Adrian was suddenly in a very bad mood today. "Shake them off!"

"Sixth Master, why are we running? Are we afraid of them?" Sabrina, always ready for a fight, wanted to charge in and engage.

Adrian ignored Sabrina, standing at the bow, leaning slightly against the ship’s railing, gazing into the distance.

"Yes, Sixth Master." Brandon shot a glare at Sabrina, then went to the dispatch room to relay Adrian’s orders.

Though the Megalodon appeared ordinary from the outside, it was Adrian’s best-equipped vessel, using the Navy fleet’s most advanced technology internally. Dealing with that destroyer wasn’t a worry.

In the Naminua Ocean, two ships were competing in speed.

The Megalodon took the unconventional path, driving wherever there were reefs, leaving everyone on board thrilled.

Keep in mind that hitting a reef with such a large ship would spell trouble.

"Who’s navigating the ship?"

"022!"

"What the hell, does that idiot 022 even know how to steer?" Sabrina cursed, and as soon as he finished, 022, possibly having heard Sabrina’s cursing, suddenly steered the ship sharply right, speeding up, almost tossing Sabrina out.

"****! Is he steering a ship or driving a car?"

The ability to drift a ship like that had Sabrina kneeling for the guy.

Barnes vomited the apple from his stomach amidst the violent shaking, looking pale.

Adrian kept a firm grasp on the ship’s railing, balancing himself. This level of jostling was nothing to someone who had lived on the sea for long periods.

"Reef!"

"..."

"Steer quickly!"

Ahead was a wide range of reef mountains, and the Megalodon’s speed was exceptionally fast. Sabrina shouted, poised for an imminent escape.

is a madman!

"Oh, Rose, Youjump, Ijump!" Sabrina recited the classic Titanic dialogue.

Brandon was pale from the shaking, a certain chatterbox babbling non-stop, acting as if he’d die if he didn’t keep talking.

"Shut up!"

The Megalodon accelerated, as did the destroyer behind them, both reaching their speed limits...

Just when they were about to hit the submerged reef, the Megalodon narrowly evaded it, but the destroyer wasn’t so fortunate.

The speed was too fast, and with the Megalodon blocking their view, by the time the destroyer reacted, it was too late.

A loud bang...

The destroyer collided with the reef protruding from the water.

"022 is incredible!" Sabrina was suddenly not feeling nauseous anymore.

The destroyer, due to its speed, had a third of its hull wedged into the reef, and seawater poured into the cabin through the breached hull. They could see people trying to repair it from afar.

In the last glance, individuals began jumping ship to escape.

Brandon clung to the railing, still vomiting. Though she didn’t get seasick, Brandon was noheless sickened by 022’s driving technique.

"Auntie, oh my, are you expecting? Throwing up so badly?" Sabrina mocked, seeing Brandon’s pitiful state.

"..."

"Auntie, are you expecting a son or a daughter?" Sabrina said snidely, hands on hips.

Brandon glared at Sabrina, with a pale face, coldly replying, "A son, I’m expecting your brother!"

"****!"

"You green-haired turtle! Call me Auntie again, and you’ll be my son!" Brandon glared fiercely at the green-haired Sabrina.

"You win!"

In countless rounds of verbal battles, Sabrina suffered a crushing defeat this time!

Adrian gazed at the azure sea, unusually quiet.

The weather at sea is like a child’s face, changing suddenly. It was a clear sky moments ago, but it quickly transformed into overcast, with a few raindrops splashing down, and when you looked up at the sky, it was already a torrential downpour.

"Sixth Master, it’s raining. Let’s return to the cabin." Brandon covered her mouth, saying.

Adrian stood there, unmoving.

"Sixth Master?"

"You all go back. I want to be alone for a while." Adrian said.

"Yes, Sixth Master."

It was raining heavily, and Brandon was drenched by the time she ran back to the cabin. Sabrina’s eyes weren’t decent, staring at Brandon’s chest, raising his eyebrows and saying cheekily,

"Brandon, do you have an A?"

If it were normal times, Brandon would fight back immediately, but now she was too busy to deal with him.

These men, they are indeed men, with Sixth Master still in the rain, none of them reacted.

Brandon found an umbrella in the cabin, and when she got back on the deck, she saw Marion holding an umbrella above Adrian’s head.

"Marion is thoughtful." Brandon said gratified.

"Sixth Master wants to be alone, Marion insisted on going over to be annoying."

"Do you really have a point?"

"Hmph!"

Sabrina, hands in pockets, followed Barnes away, and Brandon watched the two always inseparable individuals, suddenly feeling they were full of "affair."

Sabrina has plenty of words, and Marion speaks just as much.

In the rain, Marion stood like a statue, holding an umbrella for Adrian, getting soaked himself.

Adrian was missing Sienna Johnson.

Suddenly missing her intensely, deeply yearning for someone amidst this sea.

If it weren’t for the Night Owl, he could have already returned to Sileria City to be with his wife and daughter, never needing to endure this difficulty.

"Sixth Master, we’re almost at Port of Agora." Marion said.

Port of Agora is a major port in Kalare, and it’s already in sight, the rain had stopped too.

They would resupply in Port of Agora, then return to Abyanabad.

"Once we’re at Port of Agora, you can head back to Abyanabad first. I need to take a trip back to Sileria City!" Adrian suddenly said.

"Yes, Sixth Master!" Marion didn’t even ask Adrian for a reason.

As the Megalodon docked, Adrian disembarked onto the pier, walking ahead while Brandon and a few others followed behind.

"Sixth Master, isn’t it better to rest one night before heading back to Sileria City? The aircraft at the airport here are all discarded Union planes. Flying back to Sileria City on their planes is too dangerous." Brandon advised.

"Don’t move, hands up!"

Suddenly, many dark-skinned individuals armed with guns emerged from various directions, pointing their weapons at them.

Brandon and her group simultaneously drew their guns, standing around Adrian in a protective circle.
