Chapter 832: Chapter 847: Watching Someone Die Without Helping (Part 2)
"What are you snickering about?"
"I’m snickering because you’re daydreaming in broad daylight!"
"Sienna Johnson, just you wait, Sixth Brother will soon stop loving you!"
"Alright, I’ll wait!" Sienna Johnson replied indifferently.
Melanie Carpenter glared fiercely at Sienna and turned to leave. Sienna watched that flash of red, like blood, disappear from her sight, and her face bore no trace of a smile.
"Madam, the doctor told you to relax and not get angry. Think about the baby in your belly." Sally advised.
Sienna took a deep breath, inhaling and exhaling according to the doctor’s instructions.
Compared to Melanie Carpenter, Sienna was more upset with Adrian Desmond.
That man knew full well she wasn’t in good health, yet he let Melanie Carpenter move into their home, adding to her troubles.
Sometimes, Sienna truly wanted to leave this mess behind and take her child away.
Now, Adrian was being toyed with by the Carpenter family father and daughter. If she left, what would happen to Adrian?
"Sally, my head hurts. Give me a massage."
"Madam, it’s because you’re overthinking."
"Some people don’t use their brains, so I have to think more for them."
Sally let Sienna lie on the lounge chair while she skillfully massaged her head from behind.
Sally was someone Adrian brought to her side, skilled in Martial Arts, Chinese cuisine, and massages. Her temperament was gentle, and Sienna liked Sally very much.
"Madam, your hair is so well-maintained. How do you take care of it?"
Sally’s hands glided through Sienna’s hair, smooth as black silk, with a faint fragrance emanating from it.
"It’s hereditary. Both my sister and I inherited our mother’s hair. Even at her age, my mother still has a full head of black hair."
Sienna tried not to think about Melanie Carpenter, but Melanie would still invade her mind, leaving her restless.
Suddenly, Sienna sat up abruptly, startling Sally, "Madam, what’s wrong?"
"Sally, go to Melanie Carpenter’s place and search her room inside and out."
Sally, puzzled, asked, "Search for what?"
"Medication!"
Sally: ...
Sienna instructed, "Search secretly. If you can’t find anything in her room, find a way to search Melanie Carpenter herself. Also, if you do find anything, take a bit of the medication back, but don’t alert her."
"Yes, Madam!"
"Wait, I’ll go with you!"
"Madam, you’re not in good health. It’s better for you to stay here and wait; I can go alone."
Sienna looked at Sally and said, "I need to help you divert people away so you can investigate."
...
At Mirror Lake, Sienna stood by the lakeside, coldly watching the woman floundering and calling for help.
Without Sienna’s orders, none of the people around dared to go down and rescue her. After all, when Sienna lost her temper, none of them could handle it.
"Sienna Johnson, Sixth Brother will not spare you if he finds out..."
"..."
"I’ll say that you pushed me into the lake. I’ll have Sixth Brother send you back to Orienta!"
"Go ahead, I’ll be waiting."
This morning, Melanie Carpenter didn’t gain any advantage over Sienna, so she came to Mirror Lake to unleash her frustration on Sienna’s favorite lotus flowers. Unexpectedly, while damaging the flowers, she slipped and fell into the lake.
When Sienna arrived, she saw Melanie floundering in the lake; if a Servant had rescued her, it would have been fine.
But Melanie’s belly got filled with water, and so did her brain, insisting Adrian had to come and rescue her.
She even planned that once Adrian pulled her out, she would falsely accuse Sienna of pushing her in.
The Desmond Manor is full of surveillance cameras; did she really think that little of it?
Having such a clueless rival, Sienna felt worried for her. Couldn’t she plot something with higher intelligence?
"Sixth Brother, help me..." Melanie shouted loudly, thinking Sienna was deliberately not informing Adrian of her plight.
In fact, Adrian hadn’t returned last night. Since this brainless woman insists on waiting for Adrian to rescue her, let her. Sienna wanted to see how long she could last in the lake.
"Help me..."
Melanie knew how to swim, but because she kept making trouble for herself, she had already been struggling in the water for half an hour, verging on exhaustion.
"Where’s Sixth Brother? You evil woman, didn’t you tell him I fell into the water?"
"..."
"Sixth Brother, save me... if I die, how will you explain to my dad?"
Originally, Melanie was doing well in the Psychiatric Hospital; then a fake Elliot Carpenter showed up, and she started causing trouble again.
"You accidentally drowned yourself in the river; what do we need to explain?"
Melanie swam to the shore, and Sienna instructed the Servant, "What are you standing around for, kick her back in; Sixth Master hasn’t arrived yet."
"But this..."
"Are you disobeying my orders now?" Sienna asked, her presence intimidating them.
The Servant walked over and kicked Melanie, who was about to climb ashore, back into the lake.
"Sienna Johnson, you..." Melanie sputtered as she swallowed a mouthful of lake water, suddenly realizing fear.
This woman was so ruthless, she might truly kill her.
"Help..."
"Keep shouting. Don’t you want a hero to save you? Adrian hasn’t come yet; keep waiting in the lake!"
"Sixth Brother, help me..."
Sienna sat on a lounge chair, the Servant using a fan to cool her, as she squinted her eyes slightly, watching the woman in the lake nearing the brink of unconsciousness.
The Servants around were terrified by Sienna, not daring to make a sound.
They all heard that Sienna was not someone to be trifled with, and today they witnessed it firsthand.
Those women harboring thoughts towards Sixth Master weighed their options and realized life was more important. So, they shelved those inappropriate fantasies.
