Chapter 813: Chapter 835: Plane Encountering Thunderclouds (2)

Adrian answered, "This business jet can seat 16 people. There are at least 16 parachutes on board."

"What if there’s only one?"

Adrian looked puzzled at the woman in front of him, seeing her watch him with anticipation, a flash of understanding in his eyes.

This woman, she’s getting more childish.

Adrian’s lips curved into a smile. He loved her in this petite woman-like manner, "Of course, it’s for you!

Without a woman named Sienna Johnson in this world, what’s the point of me living?"

"Really?"

"My love for you has never changed!"

A wave of sweetness surged inside Sienna as she felt embarrassed for her earlier paranoid thoughts.

How could she doubt Adrian’s feelings for her?

"Adrian, I love you too, more than you can imagine!"

At this moment, the plane shook more violently, and things fell off the table due to the severe tilt of the plane, crashing to the ground.

Adrian grabbed the handle with one hand and held Sienna tightly with the other, while Sienna couldn’t find words to describe her emotions at this moment.

"Adrian, will we be okay?"

"Of course! This plane, I bought the best one, with the highest safety rating. How could anything happen?"

On this plane, besides the pilot flying the plane, there were only the two of them. Adrian wanted some time alone, so Brandon Potter and others were sent to another plane by Adrian.

Adrian picked up the intercom and called the pilot, "What’s going on? Why is the plane shaking so badly?"

"Sixth Master, we are passing through thunderstorm clouds, so the plane is experiencing turbulence."

"How long until we pass through the thunderstorm clouds?"

There was a cracking sound, and Sienna heard something break, then the plane tilted even more, and the turbulence intensified.

If Adrian hadn’t held her tightly, Sienna would have crashed into the side of the plane.

Ordinary people would feel pain hitting the plane, and as a pregnant woman, if she accidentally crashed into the plane, it would be a big problem.

"Sixth Master, it’s not good, a lightning strike just damaged the fuel tank..."

Adrian felt a headache, but his voice remained calm, "Can we make it to Abyanabad International Airport?"

"We can only hold on for about 16 minutes!"

"Check if there’s a place for an emergency landing nearby."

"Sixth Master, as a last resort, we can parachute." The pilot suggested because parachuting is actually less risky than finding a place for an emergency landing.

"My wife is pregnant. You want her to parachute? If anything happens to my son, can you compensate me?"

The pilot dared not utter a word.

Sienna calmed down at this time, knowing that with her physical condition, parachuting would be very risky, so it was best to find an airport to land.

Sienna said, "See which airport is closest? Or anywhere else we can land. If we can make it, let’s fly there. If not, Adrian and I will parachute."

"The nearest airport is Mupali Airport in Mandanila!"

"With the remaining fuel, can we make it to Mupali Airport?" Adrian asked.

"Almost!"

Adrian immediately gave the order, "Head to Mupali Airport!"

"Yes!"

The plane deviated from its original route and headed toward Mupali Airport in Mandanila.

Sienna looked out the window, seeing the lightning and thunder outside, their plane shuttling through the thunderstorm clouds, still leaking oil... Sienna nestled in Adrian’s arms, her heart pounding continuously.

"Don’t be afraid. If it really doesn’t work, we will parachute. I’ll hold you and make sure you’re safe."

Adrian noticed Sienna had been silent, thinking she was scared. He comforted her, pressing a kiss to her forehead, with a firm tone.

"Mm."

The situation wasn’t as optimistic. The plane continued to experience turbulence and was struck by lightning once again halfway through.

In the cabin, although everything was fixed and wouldn’t move erratically with the plane’s shaking, all the loose items were on the floor, creating a mess.

Adrian held her, and the two of them sat on the bed, waiting together for a safe landing.

"Sixth Master, we’ve arrived at Mupali Airport and are now preparing for an emergency landing. The plane may experience turbulence, so please buckle up you and Madam."

They had already fastened their seatbelts.

"Got it."

Sienna looked out the window, seeing the sky turn bright blue, no longer the lightning-ridden weather.

At the moment of landing, Adrian held her tightly. During the descent, the plane continued to shake, even in Adrian’s embrace.

Fortunately, despite the danger, neither of them was hurt in the end.

"Sixth Master, we’ve landed safely."

Hearing this, Sienna let out a long sigh of relief, finally able to calm her anxious heart.

"Are you okay?" Her face was pale, with fear lingering in her eyes, and she looked exhausted.

"Adrian, let’s go to a temple and pray when we get back. I feel like our luck has been really bad lately."

"Okay."

Sienna looked at him, surprised that someone who never believed in spirits agreed.

"Will you accompany me?"

"Mm."

"Will you kneel and pray with me?"

"Sure!"

The cabin door opened, and Brandon Potter and a worried Marion walked in, looking anxious. The cabin looked like a hurricane had passed, with all moveable items on the floor and breakables shattered.

"Sixth Master, are you okay?" Brandon asked worriedly.

"I’m fine."

Adrian carried Sienna, stepping over the things on the floor, and got off the plane.

Their destination was Abyanabad, but they landed in Mandanila instead.

"Madam, are you alright?"

"I’m fine."

Lucas Robertson saw Sienna in Adrian’s arms and was relieved. As long as she’s fine, if anything had happened, how could he explain it to his wife?
