Chapter 651: Side Story Twenty-Eight: Ink Dot Plum Fragrance (Twenty-Six)

After being placed on the bed, Alia Smith stared blankly at William Lane.

William Lane propped himself above her, moved closer, and kissed her eyes, “Why are you looking at like this? Trying to provoke my guilt?”

“Really?” Alia Smith asked.

“No,” William Lane turned off all the lights in the room, “I won’t feel guilty.”

In the darkness, all senses were infinitely magnified.

William Lane’s kiss landed on her lips, scorching and making her tremble.

William Lane sensed her tension and said softly, “Don’t be afraid. If you feel uncomfortable, tell .”

Alia Smith groped in the darkness to grasp William Lane’s hand; after holding his fingers, she wled softly like a kitten, “Mm.”

……

William Lane exhausted all his patience and gentleness.

Fearing that Alia Smith would be in pain, he took her to the bathroom after their struggles.

With red eyes, Alia Smith clung to William Lane and refused to let go.

Finally, they both quickly rinsed together, then William Lane wrapped Alia Smith in a bathrobe and brought her back to the guest room.

Once he placed her on the bed, Alia Smith no longer clung to him.

She let go of him and burrowed into the quilt, refusing to co out.

William Lane found it amusing and touched her head through the quilt, “Does it hurt?”

“No,” Alia Smith’s voice was small and muffled by the quilt.

“Are you uncomfortable?” William Lane asked.

“No,” Alia Smith answered again.

“What’s wrong then?” William Lane, eyes dancing with laughter, “Oh, you’re shy.”

Movent ca from within the quilt, and by William Lane’s judgnt, Alia Smith must have covered her ears.

Then, the shy and indignant voice of Alia Smith ca from inside the quilt, “Stop talking!”

“Co out first,” William Lane said, “It’s hot; do you plan to stay this way all night?”

Alia Smith ignored him.

William Lane continued, “What, you plan to never see again?”

“I’ll be fine after a while,” Alia Smith said, “Stop talking!”

“Fine, I won’t speak,” William Lane got on the bed, turned off the light, and forcefully pulled Alia Smith from the quilt to hold her, “This way, I can’t see you either. Is that alright?”

Alia Smith didn’t speak and didn’t resist.

William Lane touched her head, “You’re really like a child. Sleep.”

When they slept until dawn, Alia Smith woke up to find William Lane no longer in bed.

She saw that it was still early, got up to wash, and as she was about to leave the room, William Lane ca in from outside.

Alia Smith looked at him, “Aren’t you going to work?”

“I asked for leave.”

“?” Alia Smith had a question mark floating above her head.

“For you, too,” William Lane added.

“!” Alia Smith had an exclamation mark above her head, “Why!”

“Didn’t sleep well last night, so we’ll take a day off,” William Lane said.

Alia Smith knew that he was referring to certain things that happened last night, “But I’m fine.”

William Lane raised his eyebrows, “Really?”

“Yeah,” Alia Smith’s face reddened a bit, speaking softly, “I don’t think it’s necessary to ask for leave.”

“Really?”

“Really!” Alia Smith nodded seriously.

William Lane smiled, “I’ve already asked for leave; just relax at ho for a day.”

Alia Smith’s face crinkled in dissatisfaction.

William Lane rubbed her face, “Two options: stay at ho obediently or leave after eating, and then Jas Lane will block you from coming back.”

Alia Smith: “……”

William Lane took her hand and left the room, “Let’s go, eat first.”

Alia Smith followed him quietly.

After finishing breakfast, Alia Smith went to the study to read, and William Lane took care of so matters.

The two of them were quiet and undisturbed; the morning passed harmoniously.

After lunch, William Lane told her to nap, but Alia Smith refused and tried to return to the study.

William Lane didn’t let her go and brought her back to the master bedroom.

“I’m really not tired,” Alia Smith said, “When have you ever seen nap?”

William Lane nodded and stopped, cornering her at the entrance, looking down at her.

Alia Smith pushed him with both hands, “What are you doing?”

“Are you really not tired?”

“Not tired.”

William Lane leaned closer, “Does it still hurt?”

Alia Smith t his gaze for two seconds, then imdiately raised both hands to cover her burning ears and face, “Why are you asking that!”

“Just a little worried.”

William Lane’s words were so sincere and concerned that Alia Smith’s shyness faded a bit; she honestly said, “It doesn’t hurt.”

William Lane’s eyebrows slightly raised.

He knew Alia Smith had no guard up against him.

As long as he wanted, he could hear any honest words from Alia Smith’s mouth.

Even if it was sothing shy, she’d still say it.

William Lane looked down at her for a while, then lifted her and carried her to the bedroom.

“What are you doing?” Alia Smith was confused.

William Lane kissed her ear and whispered two words gently, yet firmly.

“!!!!” Alia Smith was surprised, “No, no, no, how… I just ate, I haven’t digested yet.”

“It’s been almost an hour since you ate, who are you trying to fool?” William Lane tossed her onto the bed.

Alia Smith wanted to run, but William Lane held her legs down.

Alia Smith looked at him, “You tricked .”

“Yes,” William Lane admitted openly.

Alia Smith was speechless, and after a while, she said, “I’ll never trust you again.”

“Try it,” William Lane nipped her lip.

From noon to evening, and from dawn until dusk.

Alia Smith was carried out from the bathroom, lying on the bed, moving her fingertips slightly. She wanted to cry but felt that it would be too exhausting, so she closed her eyes and went to sleep straight away…
