Pen in hand, Matthew stepped out of a rcedes-Benz in Rio de Janeiro and continued signing posters for the nearby fans. His South Arican fans were absolutely ecstatic, if not a little wild, and Brown stayed close to Matthew, his eyes scanning the crowd, ready to act at a mont's notice.

To Matthew’s left, Adriana was dressed in a stylish denim outfit with shorts that showcased her curves, accentuating her long legs and sculpted physique.

She was also signing autographs for her own admirers. As a true Brazilian supermodel, she was every bit as popular here as Matthew.

Adriana Lima was currently one of the top three supermodels in Brazil.

Although the official et-and-greet for Pirates of the Caribbean had ended, the swarm of fans gathered at the main entrance of the rcedes-Benz Centre showed no signs of dispersing. Matthew had already signed more than thirty autographs in one go.

Yet, the crowd around him wasn't thinning. If anything, it was growing larger.

Brown warned in a low voice, "We need to go."

Matthew didn't respond, but as an eager Latina fan pushed her way toward him, he casually signed one last poster for her before turning to leave.

The young woman’s face lit up with delight for just a mont before a man beside her roughly snatched the autographed poster from her hands.

"Give that back!" she cried out, reaching for the poster.

But the poster was in the aggressive man’s hand for only a couple of seconds before a third person, a mulatto man, snatched it from him. Suddenly, the area erupted into chaos, forcing the police officers stationed at the entrance to push their way into the throng.

With so many people packed together, the chaos spread like a contagion.

To his left, Adriana was still signing autographs. The scene was so loud that she hadn’t noticed the order at the rcedes-Benz Centre had completely dissolved.

Matthew reached out, pulled her closer, and said, "We're leaving."

Only then did Adriana realize sothing was wrong. She wasn't so rookie model new to the industry; she’d been famous for years and knew she had to get out of this situation imdiately.

The police had responded quickly, but they were struggling to get the scene under control.

Prompted by Matthew, Adriana turned to leave as well. As if sensing her departure, a male fan lunged forward, trying to grab her.

Matthew, standing to Adriana's right, reacted instantly, pulling her back toward him far faster than the overzealous fan could reach.

"Move."

Adriana glanced at the fan who had tried to grab her, then at the rapidly spreading chaos. She gripped Matthew’s arm and followed his lead, moving quickly toward the black rcedes van parked a short distance away.

She had only brought an assistant with her to the event, and the woman had been sent back inside the rcedes-Benz Centre to retrieve her handbag from the lounge.

In a situation like this, the smartest move was undoubtedly to stick with Matthew and his bodyguard.

As they moved, the security personnel hired by Disney quickly ford a protective circle around Matthew.

As soone who had grown up in Brazil, she knew exactly how to handle herself in a crowd like this.

Before the chaos could escalate further, Adriana tightened her grip on Matthew’s arm and followed him, escorted by Brown and a few security guards, toward the black rcedes-Benz.

Adriana glanced around, trying to spot her own car.

Brown already had the door open for Matthew. Before climbing in, Matthew turned to the model and said, "Get in."

This was no ti to hesitate. Adriana followed Matthew into the rcedes-Benz without a second thought.

Glancing back at the rcedes-Benz Centre, Matthew felt a wave of relief. Hundreds of people had gathered out there, and if things had escalated into a full-blown riot, the mob wouldn’t have cared if he was a Hollywood star or not.

He’d heard that public order in Brazil could be precarious, and that the passionate enthusiasm of Latin Aricans could easily spill over into trouble.

Still, that sa energy was also what made a woman like Adriana so captivating.

Matthew glanced at Adriana, who was now seated beside him. They had attended the rcedes-Benz Centre event together. She was quite tall—about five-foot-eight—with expressive gray-blue eyes and striking features. Unlike the stick-thin figures of many models, she looked healthy and athletic.

Hollywood’s film and modeling circles were closely intertwined, and many famous models were fixtures in the celebrity scene—especially the top three Brazilian supermodels: Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, and Gisele Bündchen.

Among them, Adriana was particularly known for her sultry, bombshell image.

"Thank you," Adriana said, apparently noticing his gaze. She raised a hand and ran her fingers through her long, dark brown hair. "I'm glad you were there."

Matthew smiled. "You're welco."

Adriana still seed a bit shaken. "Everything was fine one minute, and then suddenly... chaos. Why?"

"It might have had sothing to do with ," Matthew admitted with a sheepish grin. "I signed a poster for a fan, and then soone snatched it from her. Things sort of spiraled from there."

"Over an autograph?" Adriana touched her forehead in disbelief. "Causing a riot over a signature? That's incredible."

She couldn't help but study Matthew again, a tall man who seed to possess an undeniable magnetism.

An A-list Hollywood star really is on another level, she thought.

Matthew gave a slight shrug. "I didn't expect it to get so out of hand."

Adriana, gradually calming down, remarked, "You underestimated your own appeal."

She shook her head. "Still, thank you. I think that crowd might have torn

apart if you hadn't been there."

"That just goes to show how captivating you are, too," Matthew said with a casual air.

Adriana turned to look at Matthew just in ti to et his gaze, and they both shared a laugh.

Among the top supermodels of the day, Adriana was one Matthew rembered for a few reasons. First, her reputation in Hollywood for her bold, daring style. Second, the rumor that she had once broken up the footballer Ronaldo's marriage. And third, her own peculiar public declarations.

Back in April, in an interview with a major magazine, Adriana had publicly declared that she was still a virgin.

As a result, the magazine had dubbed her "The World's Sexiest Virgin."

Matthew had never interacted with Adriana before, and he’d always taken the Hollywood gossip about her with a grain of salt.

After all, Britney had claid to be a virgin for PR purposes back when her relationship with Matthew was still under wraps.

In reality, Matthew knew perfectly well that Britney—who had, to her credit, avoided the more chaotic path her life could have taken—was a long way from the innocent, straightforward girl she'd been when she first fell for him. She had likely made that claim with confidence, knowing he would never publicly contradict her or do anything to hurt her reputation.

As for whether Adriana had truly never been with a man, Matthew was curious to find out for himself.

A certain thought had already crossed his mind. Since she’d gotten into the car, he hadn’t asked where she was headed. He wasn’t sure if Adriana was still in shock or if there was another reason she hadn't ntioned her destination, aside from a brief call to her assistant.

"By the way."

As they chatted, Matthew casually brought it up. "Where's the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show this year?"

"The location hasn't been confird yet," Adriana replied, then asked, "Are you planning on coming to watch?"

Without missing a beat, Matthew said, "You ca out to support , so of course, I'll be there to support you."

He said it as if they shared a deep, personal connection.

Adriana considered this for a mont. "I'll let you know as soon as it's confird."

Matthew imdiately pulled out his cell phone. "What's your number? I'll call you right now."

They had just enough ti to exchange numbers before the rcedes pulled up to Matthew's hotel.

As the Rio de Janeiro sun dipped toward the horizon, the car ca to a stop in front of the hotel. Matthew stepped out first, then offered his hand. Adriana took it and gracefully stepped out of the vehicle.
