Chapter 901: Outsmarting Oneself!
Zi Xin, who had been ticulously dressing herself in front of the mirror, suddenly heard the prompt tone of WeChat on her phone. She picked it up and her face turned pale instantly.
The color drained from her face, her eyes beca vacant, and her emotions edged toward collapse. She was utterly panicked and didn’t know what to do. Acting on pure instinct, she made her way to Liao Xingran’s room.
At this mont, she could only turn to Liao Xingran for help.
Liao Xingran was in the middle of doing her makeup when she heard an urgent knocking at her door, her eyebrows involuntarily furrowing.
As she approached the door and saw through the peephole that the visitor was Zi Xin, her frown deepened.
How could this person be so annoying? Why was she coming to her so early in the morning?
Although Liao Xingran really didn’t want to open the door for her, Zi Xin was still useful to her at the mont, so she had to endure it for now.
After adjusting her emotions and putting on another face, she opened the door, “Zi Xin, why are you looking for so early?” She greeted her so warmly that no one could see the ugliness hidden in her heart.
“Let in, let’s talk inside!” Zi Xin said, glancing around before speaking.
“Then co in quickly! I just got breakfast ready; let’s eat sothing together!”
The mont the door closed behind them, Zi Xin imdiately grabbed both of Liao Xingran’s hands, “Xingran, I’m done for, I’m really done for!”
“Zi Xin, don’t panic. Whatever it is, tell slowly; I will definitely help you,” Liao Xingran assured her with a nod.
Zi Xin was in such a state of shock that she couldn’t think straight. After hearing Liao Xingran’s words, she followed her to the sofa, yet her hands still clung to Liao Xingran’s.
Seeing Zi Xin so tense, Liao Xingran handed her a warm glass of milk from the table, “Zi Xin, don’t be so nervous. Drink so hot milk to relax a bit, then tell what happened!”
Zi Xin took the hot milk, the warmth seeping through her palms into her body, slightly easing her rigid form.
After taking a sip…
“What exactly happened to make you so frantic?”
“Soone knows I was the one who drugged the drink!” Zi Xin slowly began.
Zi Xin’s words caused Liao Xingran’s heart to skip a beat, “How could they? Didn’t you say there was no one around at the ti?”
“I made sure there was no one around at the ti, but I don’t know what happened!” Tears were now streaming uncontrollably from Zi Xin’s eyes.
“How do you know soone found out? Did soone tell you sothing?” Liao Xingran was naturally very concerned about simple matters.
“No! Soone sent this first thing in the morning!” Zi Xin handed her phone to Liao Xingran.
The video on the phone clearly showed Zi Xin adding sothing to Jian Dan’s drink.
After seeing the video, Liao Xingran frowned as well, for the footage was too clear; there was no chance to even argue.
“Xingran, what should I do? What should I do?” At this mont, Zi Xin was so panicked she was at a loss for ideas.
Liao Xingran clenched her teeth hard, thinking: You idiot, you can’t do anything right; you’re no better than trash.
Although that’s what she thought, she naturally wouldn’t show it on the surface, “Zi Xin, don’t panic just yet.”
“How can I not panic? If this video gets out to others, my life will be ruined!”
“Don’t worry for now, let think!” Liao Xingran pondered for a mont, “I’ve got it. Since the person who sent you the video didn’t go straight to the police or the press, it must an they want sothing from you, so there might be a way out of this ss!”

“The fact that they sent you the video without making any demands clearly ans they’re waiting for you to reach out to them.
It also makes it easier to negotiate terms with you!”
“Alright! I’ll contact them now and see what they want,” Zi Xin replied to the ssage without any hesitation…
After Jian Dan had just tidied up, he heard the notification sound from WeChat. Upon seeing the ssage from Zi Xin, a smile curled up at the corner of his mouth…
