Capítulo 1779: Chapter 1779: A Different Kind of Wedding
After about half a month of effort, the wedding of Jian Hui and Liao Xinyue was finally ready.
“Sister-in-law, you look so beautiful today! You’re about to officially beco part of our Jian family. How do you feel? Are you particularly happy and blissful?” Jian Dan asked with a smile while adjusting Liao Xinyue’s veil.
Liao Xinyue looked at herself in the mirror and shyly lowered her head.
“Dan Dan, I’m so nervous!” Liao Xinyue’s hands, which she held onto Jian Dan’s, were cold and sweaty, trembling slightly.
“Sister-in-law, don’t be nervous, just relax. There’s soone even more nervous than you right now,” Jian Dan smiled with a hint of implication.
At this mont, Jian Hui stood at the wedding venue, his body upright but actually stiff with nervousness. He was extrely tense and had no energy to manage the guests. Fortunately, Grandpa was there to control the scene.
“Sister-in-law, you’re almost ready. I’ll go check on the more nervous person,” Jian Dan smiled and then left the dressing room.
Jian Dan searched around the wedding venue and finally found today’s groom hiding in a corner.
“Brother, why are you hiding here? You’re the groom today, not greeting the guests and hiding here alone?” Jian Dan ran over and nudged Jian Hui’s back with her shoulder.
“Oh my, Dan Dan, you’re going to scare to death!” Jian Hui said, covering his chest.
“You’re the one too focused, don’t bla !” Jian Dan pouted and said.
“Dan Dan, I don’t know why, but I can’t control my nervousness!” Jian Hui said, his hand still on his chest.
“It’s probably because it’s your first ti getting married, so you’re more nervous. It shouldn’t be like this next ti,” Jian Dan joked with a smile.
“What are you talking about? What next ti?” Jian Dan rolled his eyes at Jian Dan and jabbed her with his elbow.
“Haha! Are you less nervous now?” Jian Dan laughed and said.
“Look at the sweat in my palms,” Jian Hui spread his hands in front of Jian Dan.
“Hey, if you hold my sister-in-law’s hand later, will they stick together?” Jian Dan looked at Jian Hui’s palms and said.
“What did you say?” Jian Hui didn’t hear clearly because Jian Dan’s voice was small.
“I said, you’ve sweated so much, hurry and wipe it off!” Jian Dan pulled a tissue from her pocket and handed it to Jian Hui.
“I don’t just feel sweat in my palms, even my soles are sweating,” Jian Hui spoke so nervously that he couldn’t articulate properly.
“Soles? That I can’t help with. Just hope my sister-in-law won’t find you disgusting tonight!” Jian Dan jokingly took two steps back.
“You cheeky lass!” Jian Hui was about to catch Jian Dan when the Emcee ca over.
“Groom, I’ve been looking for you! Why are you hiding here? The wedding is about to start, co with quickly.”
“Hurry up, don’t you want to be with my sister-in-law forever?” Jian Dan urged.
“Oh!” Jian Hui finally reacted and quickly followed the Emcee.
“Ah, my brother is getting married, and his sister is worried sick!” Watching Jian Hui’s back, Jian Dan shook her head and said.
“What? Is Jian Jian complaining? How about we have one too and let your brother worry about it?” Chu Liyuan appeared behind Jian Dan at so point, wrapping an arm around her shoulder.
“That sounds worth considering!” Jian Dan lifted her chin and looked at Chu Liyuan with a smile.
“Then let’s arrange it!” Chu Liyuan looked at Jian Dan dotingly and said.
“Alright, the main event is about to begin, let’s hurry over!” Jian Dan raised her hand to wrap around Chu Liyuan’s waist.
At one end of the red carpet, the beautiful bride took slow steps forward. Just before stepping onto the stairs, Liao Xinyue suddenly halted for so reason, a hint of unnoticeable loss flickering in her eyes. She quickly regained her smile and was about to continue when a projection fell beside her…
