After eting up with Xia ngjiao and the others the next day, Jian Dan went to Chu Liyuan’s location.
Yesterday, under Xia ngjiao’s persuasion and threats, they placed a tracking chip in Chu Liyuan’s phone.
“It seems Selina Yu has quite so free ti, huh? Actually went to the suburbs to ride horses?” Seeing the location on the phone showing the outskirts, Jian Dan couldn’t help but pout.
After changing clothes, Jian Dan and the others arrived at the racecourse and saw two figures strolling on the lush green lawn from afar.
“Quite romantic, huh?” Jian Dan’s brows furrowed involuntarily. “Let’s catch up to them!”
“Jian, maybe I’ll just wait for you here!” Xia ngjiao said hesitantly.
“Maybe I’ll stay behind with ngjiao too!” Molly chid in.
“What’s with you two? Didn’t you say you were here to back up? Why the sudden change of heart?”
“I wanted to help too! But I never thought that woman would choose a racecourse! I’ve never tried horse riding before, for safety’s sake it’s better I wait here!”
“Yeah! It’s quite dangerous if you don’t know how to ride, let them stay here, I’ll go with you!” Qin Rou suggested.
“What else can I say? You guys go inside and rest then!”
However, just after Jian Dan and Qin Rou set off, Qin Rou accidentally got jostled by a horse. Although she was unhard, her foot slipped out of the stirrup, leaving Jian Dan to go alone.
“Those two ran pretty fast, didn’t they? How co there’s no sign of them after such a short while?” Jian Dan looked around but couldn’t find their figures.
“Mr. Chu, I didn’t expect you to be so good at riding! Honestly, we have a lot in common! If it weren’t for both of us having soone we like, we might have been a perfect match!” Selina Yu waved her braid with one hand and clutched the reins with the other.
“You’re not bad yourself!”
The two of them raced their horses across the grass, neither wanting to fall behind.
Jian Dan rode a horse alone, searching for traces of the two in the vast expanse.
As it gradually got darker, she still couldn’t find them. Just as Jian Dan was about to head back, she realized she was lost.
“Am I cursed with racecourses? I’ve hardly been here a few tis, and every ti I get lost,” Jian Dan muttered to herself regretfully.
As the sky grew darker and the temperature dropped, Jian Dan, who wasn’t wearing much, started shivering all over, her lips turning slightly pale.

“Jian, Jian, wake up, wake up!” In a daze, Jian Dan heard a voice shouting beside her ear.
A blurry figure appeared before her, “Uncle? Ice?” Jian Dan’s lips moved, then everything went black again, and she knew nothing more.
When she woke up again, she was already in the hospital, the first person she saw was Chu Liyuan,
Chu Liyuan held her hands tightly, his brows furrowed deeply.
