Jian Xiaokai looked at the scene before him, a smirk playing at his lips. He walked over to the sofa, took out his laptop, and began a series of operations, even making a phone call in between.
It took no more than 15 minutes in total, and after closing the laptop, he looked at everyone with a look of anticipation.
"We need two suites!" Kuaikuai directly addressed the hotel front desk.
"Can’t you understand? Or are you deaf? I just said we’ve already booked the entire place." Fang Junhang stepped forward, looking down his nose at Kuaikuai disdainfully.
Kuaikuai didn’t say a word. One look was enough to send a chill down the previously smug Fang Junhang’s spine.
"What’s happening?" At this mont, several adults appeared behind the four young boys.
"Mom! That’s Chu Xiaokai and his countryside buddies. I told them we’ve already booked the entire hotel, but they still don’t believe !" Fang Junhang looked up at the woman behind him, who was a bit plump but heavily made-up.
"What?"
"Yeah! Mom, we don’t want to stay with countryside folks!" Jiang Shengjie also said to the woman behind him.
"Indeed! That would ruin our style."
"I don’t want to be led astray by people from the countryside!"
Li Chenyang and Zhang Ziqian also chid in to the woman behind them.
After exchanging glances, one of the won, Fang Junhang’s mother, walked to the hotel front desk, "Hello, we’ve booked all the rooms in your hotel for today."
Jian Dan, who had been silent, furrowed her brow tightly at this point.
If it were just a conflict between kids, she naturally wouldn’t intervene, but since the adult guardians were getting involved, she certainly wouldn’t back down.
"I’ll pay double what they are!" Jian Dan said coldly.
As soon as Jian Dan said this, the four won across from her all turned their disdainful gazes towards Jian Dan, as if to say, "You think you can compete with us?"
"We’ll pay double that!" Jiang Shengjie’s mother followed up.
"Four tis!" Jian Dan said nonchalantly, still looking at her fingernails as she spoke.
"Six tis!" Li Chenyang’s mother said.
"Twelve tis!"
Listening to Jian Dan’s bidding, Liao Xinyue’s face started to fall. She had worked at the hotel for years and knew too well what twelve tis implied; this was already nearing a million.
On the other hand, Xia ngjiao didn’t seem to have much of a reaction.
The expressions of the four won on the opposite side changed. After exchanging glances once more, "Fifteen tis!"
"Eighteen tis!"
"Twenty tis!" These three words were practically spat out through gritted teeth.
Jian Dan was about to speak again when Jian Xiaokai beside her discreetly tugged at her sleeve, gently shaking his head.
Jian Dan paused briefly, then understood, realizing Jian Xiaokai had another plan and swallowed the words that were on the tip of her tongue.
The four won, seeing Jian Dan back down, all sported smug smiles. "What? Can’t call anymore? If you dare, keep bidding up!" Fang Junhang’s mother was the first to speak.
"Exactly, don’t wear a hat too big for your head," Jiang Shengjie’s mother agreed.
"Why don’t you put up the money first? Who knows if you can even afford it?"
"Heh, unlike you, we are reputable people. We an what we say," she said, taking a card out of her purse, "Swipe it!"
As they finished entering the password, a brilliant smile spread across Jian Xiaokai’s face.
"Look, Chu Xiaokai is dumbfounded, still bothering to co out at this mont," Fang Junhang pointed to Xiaokai and laughed.
"That’s right, challenging us without considering your own weight."
"Exactly, just so he knows what happens when you offend us Fourth Masters!"
"I’m almost starting to feel sorry for him, hahaha..."
In the face of the four’s arrogance, Jian Xiaokai appeared much more composed, calmly stepping forward, "I should thank you!"
A smile carried deep aning.
