Chapter 1646: Chapter 1646: I’m Going Back to Get Married
Jian Dan and Qin Rou were softened by Hillary’s tears.
“Hillary, it’s okay, we are here with you,” Jian Dan said, lifting a hand to comfortingly pat Hillary’s head.
Hillary lay like that in Jian Dan’s arms, not knowing how long she cried, until there were no more tears left in her eyes.
“Thank you, it’s so good to have you all! The greatest gain this ti coming to China was eting you.” Hillary got up from Jian Dan’s embrace with a pretty smile on her lips.
“Hillary, you…” Jian Dan and Qin Rou looked at the curve on Hillary’s lips, feeling even more uncomfortable than when they saw Hillary cry.
“Don’t worry, I’m fine now.”
“Hillary, was it last night…?”
“Yorickson has made it clear that there’s no possibility for us to be together.”
“Hillary…”
“It’s fine, I’m really okay. It’s pretty good this way; at least I finally know Yorickson’s feelings, and I don’t have to spend any more ti on him in the future.”
There was sothing inexplicably heartbreaking about Hillary’s current appearance.
“Alright, stop this now. I’m really fine. I’ve just cried out all my years of feelings for Yorickson, so from now on, he’s just my brother.”
Alright, I’m fine now. Why are you two still looking so grim? I’m hungry, let’s go eat breakfast! After breakfast, we have to pack and head back!” Hillary put an arm around each of them and led Jian Dan and Qin Rou out of the tent.
As soon as they stepped out of the tent, they saw Yorickson lingering outside their tent.
Hillary was first stunned, then raised a sweet smile, “Yorickson brother, are you here to call us for breakfast? We were just about to go, let’s go together!”
Hillary acted as usual.
Then she pulled Jian Dan and Qin Rou and walked ahead.
During breakfast, Jian Dan noticed that Yorickson occasionally sneaked glances in Hillary’s direction, but Hillary never gave him a glance, chatting with those around her as usual.
After breakfast, everyone started packing to go down the mountain…
“Jian, Rou, I’m not going back with you. A car will co to pick up in a mont, and I’ll head straight back to England!” Just after descending the mountain, Hillary pulled Jian Dan and Qin Rou aside to say.
“You’re going back to England? Why not stay a few more days? The shoot is about to finish, and I wanted to take you around!”
“Next ti! I have things to do back in England!”
“Hmm?”
“I’m going back to get married.”
“What? Getting married?” Qin Rou and Jian Dan exclaid in surprise.
“Yes! Once my wedding is ready, I’ll definitely invite you both to attend. You must co!” Hillary smiled at Jian Dan and Qin Rou.
“But… you…”
“Hillary, are you getting married?” Yorickson, overhearing Jian Dan and Qin Rou, furrowed his eyebrows deeply and involuntarily walked up to them, looking at Hillary.
“Yes!” Hillary’s deanor indeed resembled a bride-to-be, though only she knew how much pain she held inside.
Just as Yorickson was about to speak again, a red sports car sped towards them from a distance.
“I have to go now. At my wedding, you all must co!”
With that, Hillary got into the red sports car, waved at them with a sweet smile, and then the car drove away.
Watching the receding red shadow, Jian Dan and Qin Rou felt a deep sense of unease within.
