Back in the bedroom, Jian Dan kept feeling that the expression she saw on Jian Xiaokai’s face just now seed a bit off.
"Uncle, you go take a bath first! In my current state, I’ll probably take a long ti." Once Uncle goes to bathe, she can find a way to figure out what’s going on.
"No way!" Chu Liyuan smirked.
Without saying anything, he directly picked Jian Dan up horizontally and walked towards the bathroom.
"Uncle, what are you..."
"Taking a bath!"
"Uncle, that’s not what I ant, I..." Jian Dan felt she couldn’t express her bitterness.
"Jian Jian doesn’t an it, but I do!" Saying so, he already carried Jian Dan into the bathroom and gently placed her in the bathtub.
"Uncle, I actually don’t hurt that much anymore, I really can bathe myself." Jian Dan raised both her hands to her chest in a defensive posture.
Chu Liyuan easily grasped Jian Dan’s two hands, "Bath ti!"
As the hot water slowly filled the bathtub, Jian Dan’s tense body also gradually relaxed.

Not missing the opportunity, Jian Dan quietly ca down from the bed, supported herself against the wall, and slowly moved out of the room.
Jian Dan didn’t go to Jian Xiaokai’s room but headed to Xiaoxin’s room.
"Mom? Why are you here?"
"Well, there’s sothing about Jian Xiaokai I want to ask you."
"Brother? Why don’t you ask him yourself? Why co to ?"
"Let in first, okay? Look at my foot, don’t you feel sorry for ?" Jian Dan pointed to her foot, making a pitiful expression as she leaned against the doorfra.
"Fine, co in and we can talk!" Of course, Xiaoxin felt sorry for her mom, quickly helping Jian Dan in.
"Ask away!" After helping Jian Dan onto the bed, Xiaoxin spoke.
"Has anything happened to your brother at school recently?"
Once Jian Dan spoke, Xiaoxin’s expression paused, then returned to normal, "Really? Why don’t you ask him yourself?"
"If I could get anything out of your brother, would I be here asking you?"
"I really don’t know!"
"Xiaoxin, you’re the best. Just tell , will you?" Jian Dan employed her charm offensive.
"Mom, I’m not Dad, that trick doesn’t work on !" Xiaoxin said rcilessly.
Not working with soft asures? Then try hard ones.
"If you don’t tell , your pocket money for this month might just..." Jian Dan deliberately drew out her words.
"I’m not afraid! I can ask my brother!" Xiaoxin looked at Jian Dan confidently, unconcerned about the threat. Not working with soft or hard tactics? It seems only a trump card will do.
"Xiaoxin, think about it, he’s your brother! If he encounters sothing, shouldn’t we help him? No matter how smart he is, he’s still just a kid, right? Really think about it, can Jian Xiaokai truly solve it himself?"
Xiaoxin fell into thought, and after a long while, she slowly lifted her head, worry evident on her face.
The emotional tactic worked.
"The thing is actually like this..." Xiaoxin told Jian Dan about what happened during Jian Xiaokai’s open class.
"Oh my, has this embarrassnt hit rock bottom?" Jian Dan spoke up imdiately after hearing it.
"Mom, how can you say that? Brother did it for you!" Xiaoxin looked at Jian Dan, slightly unhappy.
Jian Dan chose to automatically ignore Xiaoxin’s words and continued talking to herself, "Not bad, that’s my son. Did that teacher embarrass themselves that badly? Are they now too afraid to go to school?"
Only then did Xiaoxin realize that her mom was referring to the embarrassnt of the teacher, not her brother.
