The next day Jian Dan got up early.
“Dan Dan, why are you up so early?” Mo Qingqin, busy making breakfast in the kitchen, looked out and asked.
“Granny, I’m skipping breakfast today. There’s a lot going on, I need to head out early.”
“But how can you skip breakfast?”
“It’s fine, I’ll grab sothing on the road.”

Tonight is the annual film festival, with many big-na stars returning, as well as nurous industry-renowned directors.
Lots of young actors are desperate to attend!
After all, it’s the best chance to show their face and et many famous directors.
“Rou, you ca pretty early. I thought I was early, but you beat to it!” Jian Dan said, arriving at the company just past 6 AM.
“This film festival is so important that nothing can go wrong.”
“The festival happens every year, you haven’t been this nervous before!”

“This ti Director Yorickson will be attending!” Qin Rou said, looking seriously at Jian Dan.
“You an that international director Yorickson?” Upon hearing, Jian Dan quickly dropped the casual attitude.
“That’s right, he’s coming this ti to cast for his new movie.
His movie’s leads have never been Asian stars; this ti he’s breaking new ground by choosing Asian actors. Those who’ve heard are giving their all to snatch this role!”
“You’re thinking…”
“Of course, if either Yujin or Fang He could land the role, it would an a huge change not just for them but for the entire company.”
“Absolutely, I have great confidence in Yujin and Fang He. They’ll do fine.”
“Jian, for so reason, I’m feeling a bit nervous!” Yujin said, clutching Jian Dan’s hand.
“Yujin, you’re practically a diva-level figure now! How can you still be nervous?”
“I don’t know, maybe because Yorickson is the director I’ve most wanted to work with.”
“Yujin, don’t be nervous, just be like you always are. You’re best when you’re yourself.” Jian Dan held Yujin’s slightly cold hand and gave her a reassuring pat.
“Don’t worry, if your legs beco weak, I’ll hold you up,” Fang He teased from the side.
“It’ll be fine!”
After getting out of the car, Yujin and Fang He walked together on the red carpet, while the others entered through the employee entrance.
That night, sure enough, the awards for Best Actor and Actress went to Yujin and Fang He.
Not only that, New E dia also won two “Newcor” awards and undoubtedly beca the biggest winner of the night.
After the award ceremony, there’s usually a cocktail party, though in previous years few attended, with most leaving imdiately after receiving their trophy.
But this year was different; the cocktail party had many attendees, including big nas generally not seen at such events.
“Rou, this is the allure of Yorickson!”
“That’s Yorickson for you!”
That night Yorickson arrived late, yet not a single person left the venue prematurely.
“Jian, I’m going to the restroom!” Yujin told Jian Dan before leaving.
Jian Dan didn’t mind, staying focused on the entrance. “Isn’t Yorickson a little too full of himself? Been quite a while and still isn’t here yet?” Jian Dan said, casually picking up a glass from the table.
Just about to drink, he noticed sothing amiss, his brow furrowing.
