“Of course not. I just happened to co across it on my way here. There was a traffic jam, so we had to deliver the baby in my car.”
“You?” Sizhe pointed at Jian Dan, his voice full of disbelief.
“Of course it wasn’t doing the actual delivery! There was an OB-GYN nurse on-site at the ti.”
“But you just said you delivered the baby.” Sizhe pressed further.
“I was responsible for calming the mother down, okay? Emotional support is very important too!”
