Chu Liyuan watched as Molly was brought in by Jian Dan, his brow furrowing slightly, but since she was Jian Jian’s friend, he didn’t say anything. Turning around, he went upstairs, changed his clothes, and headed straight for the office.
“Did you co to see this early in the morning for a reason?” Jian Dan wasn’t the least bit curious about how she knew where she lived!
She knew even more private matters, so of course, it was impossible for her not to know her address.
“Can you take in for a few nights?” Molly asked bluntly.
“Huh?”
“I have nowhere to go!” Molly said, looking pitifully at Jian Dan.
“What do you an? Where have you been staying before this?”
“A hotel, but I’ve almost run out of money, so I can’t stay in a hotel anymore. Don’t worry, I’ll only stay for three days at most. There’s a car race in three days. If I win the prize money, I’ll leave!”
“Why don’t you go ho?”
“Why are you so hesitant? Just tell if it’s okay or not?” When Jian Dan ntioned her ho, Molly’s expression clearly soured.
“Of course, it’s no problem for you to stay here, but…”
“That’s fine, nothing else! Which room can I stay in?”
“Uncle Zhang, please take her to the guest room!” Jian Dan certainly couldn’t leave such a young lass alone outside!
This lass and the Uncle didn’t get along very well, but their schedules were quite different, so Molly and the Uncle didn’t cross paths in the three days she stayed at Li Garden.
“Are you going to the race tonight?” Molly got up around noon.
“Yeah!”
“I’ll co with you tonight!” Jian Dan was a little worried about her going alone late at night.

“I obviously just want to watch the race, don’t flatter yourself!”

That evening, Jian Dan and Molly went to the car racing venue together.

“Is your hand okay?”

“No way!” Molly looked sternly at Jian Dan.
“No way? Why not?”
“Because today’s contract is binding!”

“If I back out of today’s race, it won’t just be about paying money. My hand could really get ruined!”
“It’s just a race, right? Why would you sign that kind of contract?” Jian Dan couldn’t believe what she was hearing.
“It’s too late for that. If my hand hadn’t been injured, today would have been a sure win!”
“So what now? Can soone substitute for you?”
“I don’t know anyone here who would replace ,” Molly said with a bitter smile.
“Got it, you can find soone to help!” Jian Dan called Qiu Zimo for help.
But the call kept being forwarded to voicemail…
“Are you ready yet?
Ouch, what’s with your hand? Can you still race like that?” A sleazy-looking man walked up to them.
“Don’t worry, I can still beat you with just one hand!”
“Then I shall wait and see!”
The man left, leering at Molly.
“Can you really do it?”
“Of course… not anymore!”
“Can you not gasp for air?” Jian Dan complained. “Are there really no other options?”
“I just have to bite the bullet and go for it!” Molly said, laughing.
Jian Dan closed her eyes and took a deep breath before opening them again. “There’s one more way!”
“What way?”
“I’ll replace you!”
“You? Don’t joke alright? You don’t even have a driver’s license. You replacing , what a joke!”
“This track is very dangerous; there’s a turn that’s particularly treacherous. A slight mistake could cost your life! If I replace you, there might still be a chance!”
“Are you sure?”
Jian Dan nodded firmly at Molly!
“Fine! I’m with you!”
“Aren’t you afraid?”
“You’re going this far for ; of course, I can’t chicken out!”
“But if sothing happens today, you cannot be with ng Ran anymore!”
“Then I guess that ans ng Ran and I aren’t ant to be! But you, you still have Chu Li to think about!”
“You think I want to? But if we don’t race, we may both not be able to leave tonight!” Although both were skilled, facing multiple opponents, especially with Molly injured, was different.
