The mont Aegirion killed the last ice knight, the ice general moved. It wielded its massive, ice-cold sword, its form a blur of speed and velocity...

Samuel swallowed a desperate urge to call to Aegirion forming in his throat. But before he could utter another sentence, the general was no longer in front of him. It had instantly appeared at Samuel’s back. The general delivered a powerful kick to Samuel, so hard that Samuel broke the sound barrier, his body erupting into another chamber...

This was a chamber Samuel was supposed to clear, and it was filled with hundreds of ice bats, their frozen body clinging to the walls and ceiling.

Samuel flew through the chamber at the speed of sound, his uncontrolled montum destroying any visible pillars and objects in his path as he crashed through them...

The general, remaining in the previous chamber, stood motionless. With a single gesture of its hand, the entire environnt within its chamber froze and solidified, an instant, absolute stillness. This act simultaneously killed all the ice bats in the new chamber, freezing them mid-flight or to the surfaces they clung to... The general then gestured towards Samuel, a clear, challenging motion that conveyed..."It’s just you and now."

Aegirion, still in its knight form, rushed from behind, bursting from the other chamber to slash at the ice general. But the general caught Aegirion’s massive sword mid-swing, its bare hand gripping the blade. Shockwaves exploded outwards from the point of contact, sending tremors through the ground...

The general proceeded to grab Aegirion by the neck of its knight form and slamd it into the ground multiple tis, the sound of tal on stone echoing loudly. Samuel, still recovering from the powerful kick, staggered to his feet. His eyes widened in alarm as soon as he saw Aegirion being brutalized on the ground. He had no other choice but to deactivate "Art of War."

Aegirion transford back into its standard blade form, shrinking from its massive knight form. Samuel called it back into his hands, the sword flying to his outstretched grasp...

He imdiately jumped forward, swinging Aegirion at the ice general. The general, however, moved with surprising speed, countering all of Samuel’s attacks...up, down, left, right...blocking every strike with its own massive ice sword.

Samuel quickly switched Aegirion to his left hand, then punched the general directly in the face with his right hand. The impact sent the general stumbling backward from the sheer force of the blow. But it wasn’t enough to cause lasting damage. Samuel looked down at his hand, only to see that his right hand had been broken. The reason was clear... he had punched the ice general’s helt, which was harder than he anticipated. His regeneration imdiately kicked in, and his hand began to heal rapidly...

Samuel transferred his blade back into his right hand, the healing process already well underway. A small distance now separated him and the ice general. Both stood in silence, assessing each other.

Then, slowly, the ice general started walking forward, its footsteps heavy on the frozen ground. The air around him beca impossibly cold, reaching minus zero degrees Celsius. The extre cold was so intense that even Samuel could feel his legs stiffening from its effect...

Then the ice general vanished again, disappearing from Samuel’s sight. Samuel’s eyes widened. He began frantically scanning the area, his senses straining to locate the invisible foe...

The ice general reappeared in the air above him, raising its massive ice sword high, and then thrusting it down at Samuel. Samuel dodged, leaping sideways to avoid the direct strike. The sword slamd into the ground where Samuel had been standing, but then it exploded outwards into a massive burst of ice spikes. The sharp shards shot horizontally, stabbing Samuel directly in the chest...

Blood dripped from his mouth as the ice impaled him. The ice general lunged forward, pressing its attack. Samuel used both hands to forcibly break free the ice embedded in his chest. Before he could fully catch his breath, the ice general swung its sword at him again. Samuel swiftly blocked the attack with Aegirion, the clash of tal in the ice chamber was echoing loudly...

Samuel twisted his body, expertly sweeping the ice general’s legs from beneath it, causing it to lose balance. As it staggered, Samuel slashed its armored chest plate, sending more shockwaves blasting out in all directions. While the ice general was trying to regain control of the situation, Samuel lunged forward with his knee, directly hitting the ice general in the face. The blow sent the general flying across the chamber...

Samuel coughed out blood, still regenerating from the severe chest injury. But then he started hearing sounds beneath him. Ice was forming, holding Samuel’s feet to the ground. He imdiately broke free of the ice, walking purposefully towards the ice general, whose helt was now visibly shattering from the impact...

Samuel activated the "Hand of War," carrying a nearby broken pillar. He swung it at the ice general, slamming him into the wall repeatedly. The general dodged the next incoming strike and rolled, then quickly grabbed Samuel by the waist, flipping him over and slamming him onto the ground. The general then got on top of Samuel and began pounding its fists onto Samuel’s face with brutal force...

Blood splashed out in all directions as the ice general continued to punch Samuel’s face, breaking his skull with each blow.

With a final, desperate breath, Samuel murmured, "ASH To All." A massive burst of dark green energy erupted from Samuel’s body, engulfing the entire chamber. The intense heat and power lted down the very skin of the ice general, turning its icy form into liquid water that hissed and evaporated into thin air... The entire chamber was utterly destroyed by the blast, leaving nothing but devastation...

Samuel lay there, unconscious, amidst the ruins. After a while, his hands began to move, twitching slightly. He slowly got up, pushing himself to a sitting position amongst the rubble...

He sat there for a long ti, silent. In his mind, he felt like a failure, a godforsaken soul...

For what felt like weeks, months, or even years, Samuel had been wondering where it all went wrong. He knew he wasn’t usually the type of person who held onto mories or dreams, but he was ntally exhausted. He was in constant pain, ntally tortured, filled with guilt... He had lost touch with his human side, embraced by the darkness, and no longer felt anything, not even the physical pain of getting stabbed or thrown across multiple rooms... This entire experience felt like a dream, a nightmare he just wanted to wake up from...

Tears unknowingly dripped from Samuel’s eyes as he sat in the wasted chamber, the emotional toll evident on his face...

Then, behind him, another passageway silently opened up. Samuel looked at it, his eyes red from the dust and recent injuries to his head. He stood up, slowly walking towards the opening, cleaning the tears from his eyes with the back of his hand...

He entered the next passageway. He walked with a deep uncertainty of what he would face next, biting his bottom lip, a sign of his internal struggle...

He now entered an indoor cave area with a prominent waterfall system... The sound of rushing water filled the space, drowning out the lingering pain of his recent battle...

Then he started hearing a song again, different from the Gorgon song, a haunting lody carried on the damp and vast landscape...

{Song}↓

Sleep, my drifting traveler,

You’ve sailed from lands afar...

Close your eyes, the sea is near,

I will hold you, have no fear...

Waves will carry you, slow and deep,

In my song, you’ll fall asleep.

Let the tide erase your na,

Dreams and waters feel the sa...

Hush now, hush my little traveler, the water is near,

No more tears and no goodbye...

Drift below, where the water flows,

And it shall lead you to eternal peace...

Kiss the air and let it go,

Sink in peace, so soft, so slow...

Every thought will lt away,

When you sleep beneath the depths you shall seek what you need...

Hush now my little traveler, hush, your ti is done,

The sea has claid another one...

Sleep with , where the waters flow,

In the deep, you shall get eternal sleep...

As the song continued, Samuel’s eyes widened, and then, a few seconds later, they turned white. His body began rapidly approaching the water, drawn by an unseen force...

Aegirion called out to Samuel in his mind, it’s telepathic warning him urgently... But it didn’t work...the "Arcane essence." in the chamber was too strong, overwhelming Samuel’s senses. Without hesitation, Aegirion ca out of Samuel’s body, transforming back into its blade form, and stabbed him directly in the chest, a desperate asure to snap him out of the trance...

Samuel gasped for air, his body lurching as Aegirion penetrated his chest. His eyes widened, regaining focus, as he ca back to his senses...

Blood dripped from his mouth as he pulled the blade out of his chest, the wound already beginning to close...

He holds his head and chest in pain...
