As for the child, he ca up with a solution that would fulfill He Lili’s wish, which was to use another man’s seed.
Unable to resist Zeng Changyun’s pleas, He Lili agreed and among the candidates he provided, she took a liking to Xu Qianli at first sight.
Last night, with a heart full of apprehension, she dressed up like a flower and went to the hotel to wait for Xu Qianli,
only to be stood up, leaving her waiting for nothing the whole night.
She thought he didn’t co to the hotel, but now she bumped into him in the elevator.
The thought that he might have slept with so other woman while standing her up last night infuriated He Lili even more.
Xu Qianli said, “You’re calling a coward, all right, I’ll show you whether I really am a coward or not!”
Provoked by He Lili, Xu Qianli suddenly pinned her against the elevator wall, leaned in, and fiercely kissed her warm, red lips.

Thinking back on the encounter, He Lili’s heartbeat was pounding like a drum, and she glared at Xu Qianli with annoyance.
“You jerk, you really did it, either leaving hanging all night or being so sudden like that, and even being seen.
If it had been soone I know, I would have been ruined.”
Xu Qianli said, “So what if they saw, it was your husband who arranged this for us.”
“That’s true but…”

He took it out to see it was his close friend, Wu Kai, the Deputy Captain of the Jiang City County Criminal Police, calling him.
The mont he pressed the answer button, Wu Kai’s panicked voice ca through.
“Dude, sothing big happened, I just got dismissed by the bureau!”
“Not just , word from the County Governnt ntioned that you’ve been assigned to inspect the reservoir in Qingshan Town, under the guise of research, for a term of five years.
It’s already up on the public notice board!”
“The two of us can be said to be the youngest mbers of the old County Magistrate’s team, and now one’s been dismissed, and the other sent off to a backwater to monitor a reservoir, we’re both screwed!”
