Chapter 730: Chapter 0732: A USB Flash Drive

Chu Ge nodded after listening.

Mr. Qian was right; when it ca to the Gambling Stone Field, Qian Youquan indeed had a lot of experience. Since that’s the case, it might as well be as he offered, to accept his kindness.

After pondering for a mont with Chen Ying, Chu Ge chuckled lightly and said, "Then I’ll trouble Mr. Qian."

Seeing Chu Ge agree, Qian Youquan’s heart finally settled—a sign that Chu Ge wouldn’t hold a grudge against him.

It didn’t take long for Qian Youquan to arrange for soone to co help Chu Ge clean up the scene, and he compiled all the procedures and details related to the Gambling Stone Field into a docunt, printed them out, and handed them to Chu Ge.

After chatting with Chu Ge for a while, Qian Youquan left after answering a phone call.

The Gambling Stone Field had faced continuous harassnt on its opening day, leaving Chu Ge feeling quite helpless.

Standing beside him, Lin Zhao sheepishly touched his nose. After seeing Zhao Peng’s fate, he actually felt sowhat grateful—glad that he knew to cooperate in good ti.

But staying here would also not solve anything. Rembering that he needed to avenge his father’s death soon, he approached Chu Ge and couldn’t help asking, "Mr. Chu, now that we have ford an alliance, when do I start taking action?"

Chu Ge looked up at him, "Action? What action?"

Lin Zhao was taken aback, looking at him puzzled, and asked, "To catch the killer who murdered my father, of course? Isn’t Nangong Sanli your enemy as well?"

Chu Ge shook his head, "I have no enmity with Nangong Sanli."

If there’s any grudge to speak of, it’s that Nangong Sanli opposed him at every turn, but all of this originated from his relationship with Old Master Nangong.

After hearing this, Lin Zhao felt sowhat angry, "So does Mr. Chu an to refuse to cooperate with ?"

Chu Ge smiled, "We should indeed cooperate, but the person you truly need to cooperate with isn’t ."

Lin Zhao was sowhat bewildered by the response. If not Chu Ge, then who could it be?

"It’s Mr. Nangong," said Chu Ge softly. "Nangong Sanli used your father to obstruct

from treating Old Master Nangong, while on the other side, he was poisoning Mr. Nangong. However, your father failed, and they thought he was of no further use and could be discarded. But your father wouldn’t give up on saving you. At that ti, I suggested to him to cooperate with , that if he was willing to tell Mr. Nangong everything that Nangong Sanli had instructed him to do, I would help you get out of jail..."

Chu Ge roughly explained the grievance between him and Lin Zhang, unfortunately, what he offered was a way out—an option where Lin Zhang wouldn’t have to die, and Lin Zhao wouldn’t have to bear a criminal record.

But Lin Zhang failed to see the pros and cons here, let alone the true face of Nangong Sanli.

Lin Zhao fell silent for a while, then slowly said, "You an to suggest that I should cooperate with Old Master Nangong and tell him everything my father did with Nangong Sanli?"

Chu Ge nodded, "Yes."

"But will that really bring Nangong Sanli to the justice?" Lin Zhao expressed skepticism.

Chu Ge smiled, "Don’t worry, Mr. Nangong will handle him. Right now, what Mr. Nangong lacks is just a catalyst—a reason for him to make up his mind to act against Nangong Sanli."

If Mr. Nangong knew that to achieve his goal, Nangong Sanli had been so ruthless and even committed treachery and harm to a person’s life after, perhaps Mr. Nangong would no longer be indecisive.

For people like them in high positions, especially soone like the Old Master who had a brush with death at Ghost Gate, there is an inexplicable reverence for life.

Knowing Nangong Sanli could act so cruelly to eliminate soone to target him, the Old Master would not remain rciful.

Because he knew that by taking soone else’s life today, it ant he would go to any lengths to preserve his own tomorrow.

Why should he show rcy to soone who is desperately trying to take his life?

After a mont of contemplation, Lin Zhao said to Chu Ge, "I understand, what should I do?"

"I’ll take you to see Mr. Nangong tomorrow, and you’ll confess everything clearly," Chu Ge told Lin Zhao.

Lin Zhao thought about it and had no other choice.

After discussing with Chu Ge, Lin Zhao returned ho.

His house was shrouded in heavy gloom due to his father Lin Zhang’s death, with Mother washing her face with tears every day, and even his grandmother’s attitude towards him had beco a lot colder.

Every ti Lin Zhao returned ho, he felt a sense of indescribable oppression, which is why he made such a drastic move today.

Lin Zhao entered his house; Mother only glanced at him before continuing with her tasks, an expected scene for Lin Zhao, who sighed and went into his room.

After closing the door, he looked around the familiar room, but the mories flooding to him were of his father’s persistent advisories and the usual chastising.

Yet he still felt those were the best mories; now they’re just mories, and his father would never scold him again!

Lin Zhao’s room was simple, with a bed, a desk, and a makeshift wardrobe built by his father, who’d jokingly said that he’d leave it for his son when he got married.

What did his father say then? It seed like a jest that by the ti his son was born, society would have changed so much that his homade closet wouldn’t be good enough for his daughter-in-law.

Tears welled up at the tip of Lin Zhao’s nose; he held back his tears, sat down at the desk, pulled open the drawer, and looked at his collection of toys inside.

They were poor and couldn’t afford toys, so Lin Zhang decided to make them himself. At the ti, instead of being grateful, Lin Zhao looked down on them for being poorly made and bringing him sha among his peers.

Lin Zhao looked at the drawer full of toys, so of which he hadn’t even played with, just thrown in there.

Suddenly, his gaze caught a USB drive in the corner. He rembered he didn’t own a USB drive because he didn’t even have a computer; using a USB drive was pointless.

Lin Zhao didn’t understand why, but with a certain feeling, he took the USB drive and ran out.

He felt as if there was sothing in the USB drive, as if sothing was drawing him to it, and he hurried downstairs, heading towards the internet café.

Entering the internet café, he booted up a computer, plugged in the USB drive, and opened it.

There was nothing much inside, just a short video. Lin Zhao’s heart skipped a beat—for so reason, he felt this video could be related to his father’s death.
