Chapter 1296: Chapter 1309

Old Master Yu Wen sat on the sofa, looking sowhat displeased at Yuwen Kangli, "If you don’t want to marry her, that’s fine, but then don’t go to work at the company anymore."

Yuwen Kangli sat sullenly on the sofa; he didn’t like Han Wanwan. Han Wanwan was fiery-tempered and a celebrity; being with her would definitely invite a lot of trouble.

But his grandfather couldn’t see this point; he always thought that with an engagent to Han Wanwan, they should fulfill the promise according to the previous arrangents made by their elders.

But he didn’t want to, nor was he willing.

Old Master Yu Wen looked at Yuwen Kangli’s unwilling expression and couldn’t help but sigh, "As the eldest grandson of the Yuwen Family, you must understand that your marriage is not sothing you can decide for yourself."

Yuwen Kangli turned his head away, not wanting to engage with him.

Old Master Yu Wen sighed and said, "Anyway, I’ve made myself quite clear; as for what you should do next, you don’t need

to tell you, you can figure it out yourself."

Having said that, he stood up, ready to go upstairs, but as if suddenly rembering sothing, he turned his head back to Yuwen Kangli, saying, "Don’t keep bothering Mr. Chu, understand?"

Yuwen Kangli pursed his lips and responded with an "Oh,"

After the old master left, Yuwen Kangli took out his phone intending to call Chu Ge to ask about Han Wanwan’s situation, but after thinking about it, he realized her well-being had nothing to do with him. It was just nosy worrying.

Thinking about this, Yuwen Kangli put his phone away again.

Just after putting it away, Chu Ge’s call ca through; Yuwen Kangli awkwardly picked it up, "Mr. Chu."

"Where are you?"

Chu Ge asked.

"Well..." Yuwen Kangli touched his nose, not knowing what to say; perhaps he shouldn’t tell Chu Ge that he had just been scolded by the old master.

Fortunately, after Chu Ge asked, sothing seed to happen on that side, and Chu Ge ended the call.

Yuwen Kangli sighed lightly; there was nothing he could do; he couldn’t deal with Han Wanwan at all.

On the other side, Chu Ge’s phone suddenly shut down automatically; he looked at the darkened screen and sighed silently.

The phone was out of battery, so he could only head back to the Gambling Stone Field around the corner ahead.

The Gambling Stone Field was as bustling as ever.

Lin Dong and Lin Zhao were busy shuttling through the crowd; Gu Tong, however, sat at the front desk looking indifferent, unable to summon any energy to do anything.

Lin Dong had been noticing Gu Tong for a long ti; seeing the particularly dispirited appearance, he curiously approached, "Gu Tong, what’s wrong with you? You don’t seem to have any energy."

Gu Tong shook his head, "It’s nothing, I just rembered so things."

"So things? What things?" Lin Dong was more curious.

Gu Tong glared at him, "Can you stop being so nosy?"

Lin Dong pursed his lips, "If you don’t want to say it, don’t say it, why be so harsh!"

He huffed and turned to busy himself with his own tasks.

Gu Tong said nothing and continued to lie there in a daze.

When Chu Ge returned, he saw Gu Tong lying there, looking especially dispirited; he walked over, and Gu Tong didn’t even notice him.

Chu Ge approached and patted his shoulder, saying, "What are you daydreaming about here?"

Gu Tong snapped back to reality, ready to react, but seeing it was Chu Ge, he bit back his words.

"It’s nothing, just that too many things have happened recently, leaving

at a loss."

Gu Tong sighed; he didn’t know why he was saying so much to Chu Ge, always hoping to get sothing from him after saying all this.

But after a long wait, nothing ca out.

"Mr. Chu, say sothing; your silence makes

not know what to do."

Chu Ge frowned at him, "Have you been dreaming too? Dreaming of yourself in another world?"

Gu Tong looked at him in surprise, then nodded lightly, "Yes, Mr. Chu, what’s happening to ? I’ve been frequently dreaming, always dreaming of these various scenarios lately, making

quite restless."

Chu Ge pondered for a mont, realizing he understood this situation, but he discovered that recently many people have been having different dreams, almost like dreaming of themselves reenacting the sa thing using different thods.

"Have you asked Dao Liu about it?"

Gu Tong hadn’t contacted Dao Liu recently. Dao Liu would probably analyze the situation imdiately if such things were happening.

Gu Tong gently shook his head, "Haven’t told him; I don’t even know what he’s been busy with, always disappearing."

Chu Ge was silent for a mont, "Probably only he can explain this; I consulted him before."

Gu Tong pondered for a mont, then nodded, "That’s all I can do for now."

At that mont, Jian Chunqiu hurriedly ran in from outside.

Chu Ge looked at him in confusion, "I was just about to find you."

"I have sothing to tell you too."

Jian Chunqiu looked serious, as if confronted with sothing very tricky.

They went to the lounge upstairs, where Chu Ge poured Jian Chunqiu a cup of tea before asking, "So, what exactly happened?"

After Jian Chunqiu drained the tea, he finally spoke, "Soone has activated the Ti-Space Mirror again, and now ti and space is in chaos."

Chu Ge furrowed his brows, "Is this why people have similar events with different outcos?"

"Why, have you experienced it too?" Jian Chunqiu asked in confusion.

Chu Ge nodded lightly, "Yes, I encountered it."

He encountered the sa matter, yet with different developnts. It made him feel quite frustrated.

"What have you encountered?" Jian Chunqiu asked.

"t another ti-space version of myself, in search of soone, a woman crucially important to him."

Chu Ge tried to recall as the dream stayed vividly etched in his mind.

Thoughts led again to reminiscence.

It was night, with the evening colors fading, city lights just erging.

A woman sat in a luxurious yet lancholic hotel lobby, recalling what happened during the day, everything arriving too suddenly, leaving her montarily unable to accept.

Suddenly the scene shifted, turning into dayti.

The woman lay idly on a park bench, with the gentle breeze, contently dozing off, feeling none of the sorrow and distress from breaking up with her unfaithful boyfriend in the morning, rather experiencing intrinsic ease and relief.

Her crossed leg swayed rhythmically in the air, familiar pleasant tunes played by her ears, and her little hands unconsciously kept the beat.

Wait.

Lin Zhihan paused, this sound?
