Capítulo 1179: Chapter 1181: Keep Up the Pace

Chu Ge spoke as he pulled out a small dicine bottle from his coat, noting that this bottle was slightly different from the previous Small Jade Bottles.

“Inside, there are pills I’ve refined using Spiritual Energy. Starting today, take one every day.”

Chu Ge handed the small dicine bottle to Old Master Yuwen.

The old master accepted it skeptically, examining it closely before curiously asking, “What do these pills do?”

“They can neutralize all poisons and prevent you from being poisoned again.”

Upon hearing this, the old master quickly extracted one pill. As he looked at the dark pill, a faint fragrance wafted from it, instilling a sense of relaxation.

“Don’t take it with water infused with Earth Ganoderma, Long Ang, please get a glass of clean water for the old master.”

Instructed Chu Ge.

Long Ang brought a glass of clean water and handed it to the old master, “Old Master, water.”

After drinking, the old master felt no imdiate change, but gradually his body felt warm, as if sothing was burning inside him.

This sensation didn’t last long and soon faded away.

The main reason for Chu Ge’s visit was to deliver the pills to the old master; having done so, he saw no need to linger.

He stood up and said to Long Ang, “Yuwen Kangshi might take action at any mont, so be extra cautious. If there’s any movent, call

imdiately, and I will arrive as quickly as possible.”

Long Ang nodded.

The old master looked at Chu Ge with so concern, asking, “Mr. Chu, if sothing does happen, when we call you, will you really be able to arrive in ti?”

After all, Chu Ge was much stronger than Long Ang, and the old master couldn’t help but feel a bit uncertain.

Chu Ge reassured, “Don’t worry, Long Ang’s martial arts skills aren’t bad and he can handle Yuwen Kangshi. Also, my house isn’t far from here, so I should reach quickly.”

The drive from Yuwen Mansion to the villa takes half an hour, but for cultivators like them, it’s different; he could fly directly over, reaching in minutes.

Of course, he wouldn’t tell the old master that he’d fly if he ca to rescue him.

Seeing Chu Ge speak so decisively, the old master slightly nodded, recognizing there was nothing he could do now, having to rely on Long Ang’s claid martial arts prowess for protection.

As ti ticked by, the old master’s heart both hoped for Yuwen Kangshi to act and for him to suddenly co to his senses.

But the latter hope seed dim.

Because that night, Yuwen Kangshi did act.

After dinner, he went alone into the kitchen to prepare a special supper for the old master, an ordinary supper without anything added.

anwhile, outside Yuwen Mansion, it was surrounded by Lian Chengyu’s people.

Long Ang, accompanying the old master in the study for a ga of chess, suddenly sensed a wave of danger nearby.

He sprang up from the sofa, moved to the window, and stealthily peered outside through the curtains.

The old master was startled by Long Ang’s sudden movent, watching puzzledly, asking, “What’s going on? Are they taking action?”

Long Ang assessed the situation, quickly identifying the problem—about a dozen individuals had gathered outside, each a skilled fighter.

Returning to the sofa, he nodded slightly, “I’ll call Mr. Chu imdiately.”

At that mont, Chu Ge stood on his bedroom balcony, gazing toward Yuwen Mansion.

The night’s darkness was unusually thick, with no stars in the sky. Despite winter’s cold wind stinging his cheeks, creating an oppressive feeling.

Too quiet—such silence raised a foreboding sense in Chu Ge’s heart.

Like the calm before a storm.

Suddenly, his phone rang, resounding sharply in the silent night.

Chu Ge looked at the caller’s na, instinctively frowning; it was Long Ang!

They’ve acted!

This was Chu Ge’s imdiate thought.

Answering the phone, he heard Long Ang say, “Mr. Chu, they’ve acted; there are about a dozen people outside now.”

“What about Yuwen Kangshi?”

Chu Ge asked.

“He should be downstairs. During dinner, nothing seed wrong, yet they moved so swiftly.”

Chu Ge chuckled lightly, his laughter containing a chill, “Yuwen Kangshi excels at concealing his actions. If he’s planning sothing, he won’t show it. If they don’t act recklessly, neither should you. I’m on my way.”

Chu Ge hung up the phone, swiftly dressing and leaving the bedroom.

Opening the door, he saw Lin Dong and Lin Zhao standing at the door.

“Mr. Chu, we heard your call; take us with you?”

Lin Dong spoke.

Lin Dong had been idly flexing his muscles on the balcony when he saw Chu Ge staring into the distance, appearing deep in thought.

He intended to inquire but, before speaking, heard Chu Ge’s phone ring and caught snippets of the conversation with Long Ang.

He wasn’t sure what Long Ang said, but from Chu Ge’s tone, it seed Yuwen Kangshi had acted!

Clearly, crises lurked at Yuwen Mansion, and they wanted in on the action!

Chu Ge understood Lin Dong and Lin Zhao’s intentions, but with their power, directly flying from here might not suffice.

“Drive over; I’ll fly directly. Drive fast, but when you reach the mansion, keep so distance, don’t let them notice you two.”

Chu Ge instructed.

Lin Dong felt slightly frustrated, “We can fly too.”

Chu Ge shook his head, “You could fly, but flying directly from here would lead to severe exhaustion; facing them would put you at a disadvantage. There are a dozen people; conserve your energy for the fight!”

Chu Ge heavily clapped Lin Dong’s shoulder, “Ti’s tight; I’ll go ahead, keep up.”

With that, he dashed into the yard, using energy to fly skyward toward Yuwen Mansion.
