“Ming Chong?” Chu Ge repeated once.
Ming Chong carefully nodded, then pointed at Chu Ge and asked, “You!”
With just a single word, Chu Ge understood his aning, “You want to ask what my na is?”
Ming Chong nodded again.
“Chu Ge.”
Chu Ge replied truthfully.
“Chu… Ge…”
Ming Chong quietly repeated once, she raised her eyes to look at Chu Ge, and asked again, “You, are not a bad person?”
She spoke haltingly, making it seem as if her tongue couldn’t quite work straight.
Chu Ge chuckled and said, “Of course not. If I were a bad person, you wouldn’t be lying here now, but dead on Tushan Mountain.”
Ming Chong imdiately had a dangerous gleam shoot towards Chu Ge, adopting a defensive posture.
Chu Ge noticed that Ming Chong seed unable to stand upright; since waking up, she had been squatting on the bed with her hands placed in front of her, in a pose sowhat like a dog, yet not quite.
Chu Ge speculated in his heart, flipping through all the books he had read in his mind, but couldn’t find what this was.
Seeing that nothing could be elicited from Ming Chong, he no longer pursued questioning; if Ming Chong wanted to speak, she would.
“Rest up a bit, I’ll go get you sothing to eat.”
After saying this, Chu Ge got up and left.
Ming Chong sat on the bed, her curious eyes glancing around the room before her gaze landed on the bed, which was much more comfortable than sleeping on stone.
Perhaps because the surroundings had beco more relaxed, or maybe because her body was too weak, she quickly fell asleep again.
Even asleep, her body remained tense, staying alert.
Outside, after speaking with Ouyang Die, Chu Ge asked her to help make so food for Ming Chong. Though Ouyang Die was curious about who this was, she didn’t press for details.
She responded and went to the kitchen to get busy.
Chu Ge then entered the kitchen to continue preparing tonight’s wild ga.
Lin Dong, Lin Zhao, and Long Ang looked at each other, and finally, Lin Dong took the lead, stepping to the kitchen door, hesitating over how to begin.
Chu Ge saw Lin Dong lurking at the door, couldn’t help but look up at him, “Lin Dong, if you have sothing to say, just say it!”
Lin Dong cleared his throat, “Mr. Chu, is there sothing special about that creature’s body? Why are you treating her so uniquely?”
“Unique?”
Chu Ge paused his actions, looked up at Lin Dong, “What’s unique? What’s special?”
“Mr. Chu, we brought this person back from Tushan, it’s Tushan, not a zoo! Are you really so comfortable letting her stay in the villa?”
Lin Dong worried about the unknown origins of this person, noting that he had black hair and didn’t seem ordinary.
Chu Ge smiled, “Don’t worry, as long as you treat her kindly, she won’t hurt you.”
Chu Ge was confident that Ming Chong posed no threat at the mont, so there was no danger to them.
Seeing Chu Ge’s assurances, Lin Dong opened his mouth, wanting to say more, but Chu Ge no longer paid attention to him.
Helpless, Lin Dong disappointedly returned to the hall.
“Well, did Mr. Chu explain anything?”
Lin Zhao and Long Ang looked at Lin Dong and asked.
Lin Dong shook his head, “No, alas.”
“Since we didn’t get answers, why don’t we go up directly and take a look?”
Lin Zhao suggested, “Mr. Chu won’t tell us, let’s ask her ourselves.”
Long Ang shook his head, “Wouldn’t that be inappropriate?”
Lin Dong slapped his thigh, snorted lightly, “What’s inappropriate about it? Let’s go! Let’s see what spell this person has put on Mr. Chu to get such care!”
Saying this, Lin Dong stood up and headed upstairs.
The sleeping Ming Chong was very sensitive, waking up as soon as Lin Dong and Lin Zhao entered the room, imdiately jumping from bed alertly, with a fierce look in her eyes trying to scare Lin Dong and his group away.

The fiercer Lin Dong was to Ming Chong, the more angrily she glared back at him.
Finally, Ming Chong jumped off the bed and charged at them.
However, Ming Chong was not a match for Lin Dong, who easily subdued her.
Ming Chong let out a raspy scream from her throat, struggling hard, but was overwheld by Lin Dong’s strength.
“You know, if you just told us what we wanted to know, you wouldn’t have to suffer this pain!”
Lin Dong squatted down, spoke to Ming Chong, “Now I’m going to let you go, don’t scream anymore, hear ? You aren’t a match for us, so don’t make futile struggles.”
Ming Chong continued to scream, what Lin Dong didn’t know was that her voice was very penetrating, able to be heard far away even if not loud.
Chu Ge, busy in the kitchen, suddenly paused as he heard the scream.
“Mr. Chu, what’s wrong?”
Ouyang Die asked curiously.
Chu Ge shook his head, “It’s nothing, I’ll go take a look.”
Chu Ge left the kitchen, not seeing anyone in the hall, so he went upstairs, where he heard Ming Chong’s miserable cries upon reaching the room’s door.
He quickly pushed the door open and saw Lin Dong pinning Ming Chong to the floor.
Lin Dong didn’t expect Chu Ge to co up so quickly, stunned for a mont, then stood there awkwardly, wanting to explain but not knowing how.
Seeing Chu Ge, Ming Chong hurriedly crawled up from the floor, hiding beside him.
She didn’t know why she felt Chu Ge was the only one among them who would protect her.
Chu Ge’s expression was displeased, “What are you doing?”
Lin Dong seed like a child who had done sothing wrong, standing there not knowing what to say.
Dragon Ang stepped forward to explain, “Mr. Chu, don’t be mad, we just wanted to learn about her background, after all, she was brought from Tushan, and what if she’s so kind of monster…”
Chu Ge understood their concerns, as they were thinking about him and the people in the villa.
Chu Ge sighed lightly, “I know what you’re worried about, but I want to say your concerns are unnecessary, she’s not dangerous.”
