"You’re Ye Tian, right? We’re from Xiao Yi’s side." Ye Tian had not seen the speaker before and had no impression of him; after all, his interactions with Xiao Yi had been minimal.
"Isn’t Xiao Yi almost gone? What does he want with now? I’m not a doctor."
"It’s really important for Xiao Yi to find Brother Tian. Please, just co with us, you know his current condition..." The sorrow on the man’s face wasn’t fake, "It’s hard to say."
"Alright, I’ll go with you." Ye Tian glanced at Xiaoqian and saw her nod at him, knowing there was no trap in this matter.
"I’ll go too." Yu Xiao, not trusting Ye Tian to go alone, promptly volunteered.
"Mm-hmm," Ye Tian nodded.
Following that, the two of them left together with the two who had arrived earlier.
Ye Tian and Yu Xiao, along with the two individuals, arrived at the hospital. Indeed, Xiao Yi was riddled with tubes, his face showing severe blood loss.
"You wanted to see ?" Ye Tian sat down on a chair nearby and asked Xiao Yi with an indifferent expression.
"I’m already in this state, might kick the bucket any minute now, and you’re still giving that attitude?" Xiao Yi’s voice labored.
"What kind of attitude should I have towards you? It’s not like I think our relationship has reached a point where we can have a proper conversation," Ye Tian replied, still looking disgruntled.
"Yes, I have sched against you, but you know I’ve never really hurt you," said Xiao Yi weakly, as if his voice might fade at any mont.
"Alright, if you have sothing to say, hurry up. In case you croak in a mont, I’d be wasting my ti."
"Do you really hate that much? So even when I’m dying, you’re still unwilling to talk to ?"
"I don’t hate you! Because you’re not even worth the word ’hate’! I despise you, because you could be so indifferent towards your own brothers, to the point of disregarding their lives. Are only your family mbers considered family to you? Do the dead matter less than the living?" Ye Tian continued to interrogate Xiao Yi.
"Heh. Here’s a will I’ve written. Take good care of it," Xiao Yi gestured for soone by his side to hand a piece of paper to Ye Tian.
Ye Tian took it, glanced over it, and his expression changed slightly.
"Why do this?"
"Because only like this can I protect Yanwu. Please agree to take over, if you don’t, sothing happening to Yanwu is just a matter of ti."
Ye Tian knew that Xiao Yi’s concerns were valid, just as he himself had thought before. No matter who took the top seat, it wasn’t going to be a good thing for Bai Yanwu. However, if it was him, Xiao Yi believed Ye Tian wouldn’t harm her.
But, did he really want to pick up such a hot potato? He didn’t want Bai Yanwu to be in danger, but that didn’t an he wanted to be responsible for her safety his entire life.
What’s more important was, having just escaped from the cage of the Sixth Group, was he really so eager to jump into another cage?
"Ye Tian, you are not ant for a small pond, just lacking a stepping stone."

That night, Ye Tian suffered from insomnia, sothing he hadn’t experienced in a long ti; he genuinely didn’t know whether he should make this decision. If only there was soone to help him figure things out, even if not to provide a solution, at least to listen to him. But, truly, there was nobody.
The night breeze was less stifling than during the day, and Ye Tian suddenly felt the urge to go out for a walk alone.

People were still imrsed in their nocturnal lives; at midnight, the youth, with their thick dark circles, expended their abundant energy.
Just as Ye Tian had thought, Xiao Yi’s demise had set the hearts of many ambitious people in motion, their thirst for power reaching the Peak.
Ye Tian had never imagined that Xiao Yi would gather the city’s underground forces in his hands. Now without trustworthy people, how could he dare to? Yet, he nonetheless did it, but it was a pity, as fleeting as a blooming night flower.
Two gangs were fighting in the alley. The noise gave Ye Tian a headache; he wanted to bypass it but spotted soone using a familiar fighting technique. He stopped involuntarily, observing carefully.
Right! This was the Dragon Team’s fighting style. Their training was extrely rigorous, usually opting for lethal moves against the enemy, unlike other units.
