Ye Tian left with Xiaoqian, but he still felt soone watching him from behind. Turning back, he saw only the bustling crowd, not the person he had in mind.

"Miss..." The person beside Tang Su saw her looking absent-minded and couldn’t help but ask with concern.

"It’s nothing. Go on," Tang Su’s face was pale, but she still forced a smile at the person.

"Yes."

However, Tang Su couldn’t hear what the person was saying; her mind was blank.

"Susu." Mo Yan looked at Tang Su, who had not said a word in the car, and couldn’t help but ask, "What’s wrong? Did sothing happen at the bar today?"

"Nothing." Tang Su gave a wan smile.

"I see you’re a bit unhappy. If you’re not happy with what you’re doing, just forget it, you don’t need to keep yourself so busy anyway."

"I’m not. I really like my current life."

"Can’t you just forget him? He’s from a different world than you. I think it would be better for you to return to this world, forget him sooner so you can be free, right?" Mo Yan liked Tang Su very much, even though her identity was special, he still couldn’t control his own heart.

"I know all that you’ve said. No need to say it again." Tang Su interrupted Mo Yan’s lengthy advice; she did not want anyone to discuss Ye Tian in front of her.

"You know, but you can’t do it!" Mo Yan’s voice was calm, but Tang Su knew he was angry.

"It’s none of your business. Stop the car!" Tang Su’s gaze was icy.

"What are you going to do?" Mo Yan asked.

"I want to get out. I’ve told you many tis not to casually discuss Ye Tian and . If you still think we’re friends, you’d better rember that."

Realizing that Tang Su wanted to jump out of the car, Mo Yan had no choice but to stop at the side of the road and then watch her walk farther and farther away.

Mo Yan’s fists fiercely pounded on the steering wheel...

"Ye Tian! Why can’t you just leave alone!"

When you know soone, soone you yearn for day and night, is in the sa city as you, and yet he doesn’t want to see you at all, how do you restrain yourself from disturbing his life?

Tang Su didn’t know; she only knew that Ye Tian was different, that she was dood never to have all of him, just like her cousin seed to have feelings for him, and she saw an outstanding girl by his side.

Tang Su was a perfectionist. When she thought she would never fall in love with anyone again, Ye Tian appeared; when she fell in love with him, he left. Tang Su looked up at the sky and smiled helplessly.

Feeling her life was like a pitiful tragedy. Her identity couldn’t be revealed, so she could only be soone outside her family, making her own way while others ridiculed her, said she wasn’t a decent woman, just like her mother.

But then, why, when the Tang Family was in trouble, did everyone expect her to find a solution as if it were a matter of course?

Tang Su sighed deeply. She had ended the business at Waterfront so she could have a fresh start, no longer entangled with those people and their affairs, but now she realized this decision might not have been the right one.

Why was Ye Tian here? Was it fate?

Ye Tian, however, was infatuated with Waterfront. He was afraid of eting Tang Su but also longed for it. The place stirred his heart like a cat’s paw.

"Just go if you want to. Who knows, maybe she’s already married now," Xiaoqian said unsympathetically.

Ye Tian was indecisive in various ways, then one day, when he went out, he t Mo Yan.

"Why are you here?" Ye Tian asked, "Didn’t I tell you to take good care of Tang Su?"

"How should I know why I’m here?" Unlike Ye Tian’s group, Mo Yan was furious.

"How would I know?" Ye Tian thought for a mont, "Could it be that Susu is also here?"

"You guessed right!" Mo Yan sneered, "I was wondering why Susu chose here of all places; turns out it’s because of you."

Ye Tian imdiately understood; so Waterfront really was owned by Tang Su, then the owner of the gaze he felt that day must have been Tang Su too.

"Get her out of here, now," Ye Tian said.

"Can I persuade her? She has eyes only for you! Ye Tian, what’s so good about you? Why does she never even glance at ? You hurt her, and I was the one who comforted her bit by bit, yet even so, she only loves you!"

Mo Yan was enraged, a man deprived of love is a very pitiable sight indeed.

"I won’t see Susu anymore," Ye Tian fell silent for a mont, then said to Mo Yan, "You can relax, I’ve said I won’t et her, and I won’t break my promise."

"Are you serious?" Mo Yan pressed.

"Yes."

"Alright then."

Mo Yan nodded heavily, then drove off.

Ye Tian watched the departing car, composed his emotions, and prepared to continue his tasks.

The investigation into another group wasn’t going smoothly, he didn’t know much about the people involved, and of course, he had already tried to look into the Dragon Team’s files, only to find they had been destroyed, as if soone intentionally didn’t want their existence to be known.

Ye Tian thought of the old Dragon Team, wiped clean just the sa. If he hadn’t escaped that day, maybe no one would have known Dragon Team existed.

If it were any other ti, Ye Tian might have cald down to think it through, but now, with Tang Su arriving, he simply didn’t want to stop, not even for a mont.

Ye Tian was feeling agitated when Zhang Liang inford him that he would be going to the Sixth Group.

Upon arriving at the Sixth Group, Ye Tian found everyone’s expression very solemn, almost as if ink could drip from their faces.

"What’s going on?" Ye Tian asked.

"There’s been an incident at the Panchen Temple," Zhang Liang replied.

"What happened? Are the Monks okay?" Ye Tian asked, agitated.

"Everyone’s fine, but it seems there were other motives." Qin Chuan spoke, "But, Ye Tian, are you sure you want to co with us? You don’t look well."

"It’s nothing. These are trifles, just tell what exactly happened."

"The Panchen Temple isn’t really related to us, the Monk told us these people aren’t from Huaxia; their skills look sowhat Nepalese," Zhang Liang answered.

"Hard to say; does it an they’re targeting ? Was anyone injured?"

"No. We don’t know if they were after you, but since the Monk saved you back then, they probably won’t let things go easily."

Ye Tian was truly grateful to those people at that mont, filled with indignant fury and nowhere to direct it, those people provided an outlet.

"Fine. I’ll take a look." Ye Tian left without waiting for the others.

"Is it really okay to let him go alone?" Qin Chuan was still sowhat worried.

"Do you still doubt his abilities?" asked Zhang Liang, utterly relaxed, then headed back to his office.

Only Xu He stayed, consolingly patting Qin Chuan’s shoulder.

Ye Tian soon reached Panchen Temple, which was still filled with the fragrance of sandalwood, even though it looked quite ravaged.

"Master, Ye Tian is here." The little monk was tidying up the chaotic hall and, upon seeing Ye Tian, yelled inside.

Ye Tian looked at the little monk, indeed he was unhard, even his clothes were neat. Could it be Zhang Liang was deceiving him? But looking around, the place resembled the aftermath of an earthquake, which also seed unlikely. The entire hall, draped with a Kasaya, was the only thing that remained intact among the rubble.

"Why do you still dare to co?" the Monk was furious.

"Why wouldn’t I dare to co?" Ye Tian asked, puzzled.
