"Hubby!"
As Lin Fan’s car stopped, the passenger door was pulled open.
Feng Xiaoxiao, wearing a white dress and smiling, got in.
Like a rmaid coming ashore, she was full of energy, the dress perfectly outlining her curves, truly a sight that made one’s blood race.
"When you’re not chasing won, you’re quite a catch yourself."
Lin Fan smiled and spread his arms, embracing Feng Xiaoxiao’s graceful body.
"I’m just having fun with words when I flirt; but the real happiness belongs to you. I’m like a little wild cat, hunting outside and bringing ho delicious fish for hubby to taste. Just give two more days, and I’ll help you woo Zhang Xiaoxiao, then the two of us can have fun with her."
Feng Xiaoxiao’s words made Lin Fan pat her behind twice: "You’re really good to your hubby."
"Of course, such a wonderful hubby is my greatest support, especially given how impressive your equipnt is."
After kissing Lin Fan on the cheek, Feng Xiaoxiao spoke: "So, are we going ho to start the battle now?"
"You need to go to a place with first."
After settling in, Lin Fan finally stepped on the gas pedal, driving towards the south of the city.
They arrived at a cluster of ancient villas, where he stopped the car.
"Why are we coming here?"
Feng Xiaoxiao, wearing high heels, held onto Lin Fan’s arm. This Southern Anhui architectural complex, tucked against mountains and water, bore an exquisite ancient charm.
"I don’t know either, just that soone here can supposedly make stronger."
Lin Fan didn’t know who the person was, but the fact that Han Longhu had delivered a ssage implied they had so degree of strength, otherwise how could Han Family’s offspring be dispatched? Yet Han Longhu wouldn’t say much, leaving Lin Fan sowhat puzzled.
Finally, the two followed the cobblestone path, arriving before a pitch-black door, knocking on its steps. No one responded, yet the half-open door slowly creaked open, adding a touch of mystery.
"Is anyone there?"
Crossing the high threshold, Lin Fan and Feng Xiaoxiao entered the expansive courtyard. Circling past the screen wall, the view suddenly cleared, revealing lush grass and over a dozen large water jars, each over two ters tall, three ters wide. Had the courtyard not been slightly sunken, allowing Lin Fan standing on the steps to glimpse inside, he would be baffled by their presence.
Tiptoeing to peer in the jars, each was filled with water, reminding Lin Fan of the large jars in the Forbidden City, but these were noticeably larger, and with the surrounding not being wooden structures, they likely weren’t for fire prevention. Why would the owner place so many jars in their yard?
"You finally made it, kid!"
As Lin Fan scanned the area, a deep voice echoed.
Yet searching all around revealed no trace of anyone.
"Senior, since I am here, might I trouble you to show yourself!"
Before Lin Fan’s words finished, suddenly a spout of water erupted from a jar, imdiately followed by a shirtless old man standing at the jar’s edge, his head full of white hair suggesting he was seventy or eighty years old, but his muscular body appeared so robust.
"Kid, I’ve been waiting for you. Co, let test your water skills!"
As the old man spoke, he leapt gracefully from the two-ter-high jar, landing on the ground, effortlessly pulling up Lin Fan’s arm, a strange force surging that drew him into the jar, pressing him underwater without further ado!
