Chapter 87: First Kiss In The Dining (2)

He stepped closer, his movents asured and purposeful as though he knew his little wife could no longer escape from the mont they had both been waiting for. No matter how hard she tried to hide or deny what she felt, he could feel every emotion that surged within her to know when she was lying.

He could hear her heart racing in anticipation, yet the hesitation and nervousness that dwelled within her were the only thing that made it difficult for her to make up her mind on what she wanted, and he was going to help her make that decision tonight.

When he kept coming closer with no intention of stopping, Madeline instinctively backed away.

Her heart raced rapidly as she continued to move back, but soon felt the table that had stopped her movents, her fingers clutching tight against the ends of the table as he had her trapped and secured under his intense gaze.

He leaned in, his breath fanning her cheeks, and she squeezed her eyes shut, silently trying to wish the mont away as she set her lips into a thin line.

Madeline couldn’t understand why she was so hesitant, and she’d be lying to herself if she said she didn’t want to do it with him. He wasn’t only good-looking, but he had given her much care and attention than anyone else ever could. As his wife she should be able to do even more than just offer him a kiss, but right now she could only compare herself to a frightened mouse that got cornered by a large cat.

"Don’t stress, just keep calm." He could feel her shoulders tense abruptly from just their close proximity, and he cajoled above a whisper. "Take deep breaths and look

in the eyes while you do so." He swallowed his own urgency as he knew he needed to prepare her and not scare her away.

"Maddie." He whispered, his voice low and husky, but audible enough to entice the woman he had cornered against the table.

Madeline’s eyes closed briefly before flickering open once more, their gaze locking onto his and falling into the spell they casted. Cassian leaned in, moving slowly, giving her ample ti to pull away if she wished, and to his gratification, she didn’t.

Leaning close enough to take the initiative, their lips finally t, soft and tentative at first to the point it felt like everything surrounding them had vanished, leaving them with the privacy they seeked. And all that could be heard was the light crackling of the firewood that burned in the front-room quite a distance from the dining, yet the burning flas casted a dim glowing light into the dining room, softening their mien.

Cas’s lips touched hers, gentle and coaxing, and Madeline felt herself lting into him as he continued to drop soft kisses that sent tingles skittering from her heart to every nerve in her body.

His hand moved to the nape of Madeline’s neck, pulling her closer to him, and the flushed woman was still trying to understand how a kiss could feel so..... sweet and satisfying.

The kiss deepened as seconds passed by, and she parted her lips out of instinct, allowing his tongue to tentatively explore her mouth as she granted him that access.

The light footsteps of soone coming from the other side of the room didn’t bother the two couples as they were lost in their own blinding desire.

Madeline’s heart was racing as Cassian’s lips t hers once again, parting her lips and deftly taking his tongue in to taste hers. She felt a rush of warmth spread throughout her body as his arms encircled her tapered waist. It was as if the world outside of their embrace disappeared, leaving only them.

The heat between them grew faster than the actual heat trying to take over the dining room, until Madeline felt as though she might burst and cry out from excitent. Cassian’s kisses were passionate and intoxicating as he tasted every corner of her mouth, leaving her dizzy and wanting more.

She felt as though she had found sothing she had been missing her entire life.

Instantly, sothing inside her snapped and she embraced him with her hands linked around his neck, her body responding to his touch as she tried to reciprocate the kisses that he showered her, unaware that her active response had clicked the red button in his heart.

Their lips moved in sync as he nibbled, devoured, and unlike how it started with slow romantic butterfly kisses, the kisses turned wild as they no longer slowed down, with none of them giving the other a chance to catch his/her breath.

They were like two hungry couples that had been starved and finally given the chance to quench it, except theirs only left them wanting more.

Madeline could swear she felt herself floating, lost in the mont and in the sensations that filled her. His hands moved to her face, his fingers tenderly caressing her cheekbones, and she felt her emotions surge.

He pulled away, his eyes searching hers as they panted softly, trying to restore their breathing and he could see the sparkles in her dark orbs that reflected only his image.

’You are mine, Maddie." He wanted to say, he wanted to claim ownership by making her his completely. But yet he felt held back as he had to bite his lower lip to keep shut.

At that mont, Madeline opened her mouth to say sothing as well, but the words got lost in the heat of the mont. Taking advantage of how blurry and foggy she had beco, he skillfully traced his slender fingers up her thighs until it moved back to grab her ass, eliciting a surprised gasp from her as her eyes widened.

Then he lifted her up to the table, settling himself between her thighs.

"Cas..."

He leaned in and kissed her again, this ti more tenderly, and she felt her heart skip a beat when his hands went underneath her dress, his teasing finger peppering her skin.

"Shall we ditch this boring event? Little wife?" He tempted her with a daring question, keeping her heated body glued to his while making the woman’s face turn into a Rosy hue.

"T....that d...depends on where we’re going." Madeline wished she could pass out right now from how he kept teasing her, yet he spoke as though nothing was going on.

"Do you have sowhere in mind?" He coaxed before dropping another hot sensual kiss on her lips, one that left Madeline thinking she might die from this raw feeling of pleasure.

"Do you?" He asked again when she didn’t answer, even when he knew exactly what he was doing to her, and he felt proud that he could leave the stubborn woman speechless.

"Cas.."

"If you keep calling my na so invitingly, I might get the wrong ssage and take you here and now. We could speed up the process if that is what you seek." He warned in a sexy velvety tone. He could feel her fingers trembling as they hooked against the collar of his shirt.

"Shall we..."

Slowly, he tilted his head to the side as he leaned in to drop kisses against the nape of her neck, soft butterfly kisses that set her body ablaze with endless passion.

"W...wait." Gaining her sanity once more before she loses it completely, Madeline pulled him back so he could et her gaze, and what she saw in his eyes made her heart triple beat as she forced herself to speak.

"I...I gave you what you want, now you need to let

go as per our agreent."

"When did we.."

"Ahem!" The startling sound of soone clearing her throat behind them made Cassian stop in his advances, and as he turned to see who had ruined his mont when it was all starting to get good, it turned out to be no one other than the beautiful Catherine.

Seeing who had caught them making out in the dining room, Madeline felt a pang of embarrassnt after spotting Catherine standing a few ters away from them, looking away to avoid seeing what her eyes might not be able to stand.

"Sorry to interrupt, but I was trying to speak with Cassian, I’ll leave since you two are...."

"No no!" Madeline imdiately tried to co down from the table even at Cassian’s resistance. "You can have your conversation with him. I was just going to my room."

"Maddie..." before he could stop his wife from leaving, she had dashed off since it was the only opportunity she found to escape from him.

Finally alone, Cassian looked at Catherine who also gazed right back at him. His eyes alone showed his disinterest as he tried walking past the woman, but she grabbed his arm before he could leave, gently pulling him back so he could see the pain he had inflicted in her eyes.

"Are you trying to hurt

intentionally?" She questioned as her eyes were instantly filled with tears, and her hurtful expression gradually contorted into a mix of anger as she let go off his arm. "You have no idea what it feels like to see you in another woman’s arms Cassian, you don’t!"
