Li Junyan finished speaking and began to study the claw machine intently.

A few girls showed disappointed expressions and awkwardly walked away.

Huo Zijin stood in place, slightly opening her mouth.

She originally thought that Li Junyan was a very gentle person and would be gentle to every girl, just like to her.

But...

Gentleness was non-existent.

He was a gentleman, but not too much.

Patience was just enough.

However...

What that girl said was way too much.

What does it an to change a girlfriend, or to have one more girlfriend? It sounds so strange.

Is it so kind of online trending ?

Huo Zijin snapped back to reality and saw Li Junyan continue to operate seriously, as if he wasn’t disturbed by the uninvited guests earlier, nor was he distracted, as if he was used to such things.

In just ten minutes, he had caught over a dozen Peppa Pig plush toys for her.

From Daddy Pig to Mommy Pig, as well as all forms of Peppa and George, almost a complete set.

Li Junyan: "I’ve caught the whole family of four."

Huo Zijin said: "That’s amazing! Did you... catch dolls often before?"

Li Junyan responded with an "Mm": "When I was in school, my little sister loved catching dolls, but she wasn’t good at it, so I usually helped her, she just watched operate."

Huo Zijin smiled, looking at the plush toys filling her arms, feeling slightly at a loss whether to laugh or cry: "With so many, how am I going to take them back later?"

Li Junyan said: "I’ll help you carry them."

Since they were going to watch a movie next, Li Junyan temporarily found a storage locker and stored all these cute pigs inside.

As they passed by, a little child saw the Peppa Pig in Huo Zijin’s arms and couldn’t take their eyes off it out of envy.

In a good mood, Huo Zijin gave one to the child.

At the cinema entrance.

Li Junyan retrieved the movie tickets, and there were 10 minutes left to enter.

He bought two drinks and chocolate-flavored popcorn. Soon it was ti for their session to check in.

Huo Zijin looked around, spotting many people in the cinema. At this hour, many young couples were on dates, coming to watch movies.

Soon, they entered the cinema hall.

Hall 01 was two-thirds full, except for one empty row in the middle.

Huo Zijin compared it, realizing her booked seats were right in the middle of that row.

"Why is there no one in this row?"

Li Junyan said: "After you booked the tickets, I reserved the rest of the seats in this row."

He didn’t like having other people nearby.

Maybe it was a habit from going out with his sister.

Ever since Du Huaixi entered the entertainnt industry, she beca a public figure, even fully ard, she was afraid of being recognized.

Therefore, at any venue, Li Junyan would buy out all surrounding seats, considering it a form of protection for Du Huaixi.

Initially, he would book the entire theater, but Xixi said an empty theater felt cold and lonely.

He then only left an empty row and front-back space.

The movie began.

Huo Zijin sat down to watch the movie attentively.

The plot wasn’t very engaging, even sowhat boring. After all, today’s dostic horror films emphasize science and often end with clichés about ntal illness or nightmares.

But nonetheless, she kept her eyes glued to the screen.

Suddenly—

She felt a weight on her shoulder.

Startled, Huo Zijin turned around to see Li Junyan had fallen asleep.

He gently leaned on her shoulder, ink-black hair covering his eyes. In the dim light, she saw his long eyelashes softly closed, and his straight nose as if crafted by nature.

Huo Zijin couldn’t help but find it both funny and botherso.

Was he tired?

She had invited him to watch a movie, but he fell asleep during it, resting comfortably on her shoulder.

Maybe he’s been very busy these last two days and didn’t get a good rest at night?

Huo Zijin continued to watch the screen, faintly hearing whispers from around them.

"Wow! That guy is so handso!"

"Even more handso than the movie’s male lead!"

"Is the girl next to him his girlfriend? She’s really good-looking too, such a perfect match."

"Obviously, isn’t she his girlfriend, not his sister?"

"They look so good together, like they were ant to be!"

"Honestly, it’s my first ti seeing soone this handso in real life, both wolfish and adorable."

From the corner of her eye, Huo Zijin saw a young girl five ters away with envious eyes.

Both "little wolf dog" and "little puppy dog" are trendy terms now, describing young, clingy, cute sunshine boys like unweaned puppies.

A "big wolf dog" describes older n who give girls a strong sense of security, full of boyfriend-power.

Indeed, Li Junyan is like a big wolf dog, tall and handso, but asleep on her shoulder, he seed like a little puppy dog.

Especially today, without his usual corporate attire from Dishen Finance Group, he seed like a college student, full of youthful energy.

The movie ended.

Li Junyan woke up.

The crowd thinned out, leaving the two of them in the theater.

The cleaning staff began to enter and tidy up.

As soon as he woke up, Huo Zijin felt free to move her shoulder. He had rested his head on it for most of the movie, and she had maintained a still position to not disturb his rest, resulting in a stiff shoulder and numb arm from poor circulation.

Li Junyan yawned sleepily, noticing Huo Zijin staring at him. He belatedly realized the movie had finished, and only end credits and outtakes were left on screen.

Feeling a bit sheepish, he rubbed his forehead, and feigned ignorance: "Did I fall asleep?"

Huo Zijin: "Mm, you even snored."

Li Junyan displayed a puzzled look, half-believing: "I snored?"

Huo Zijin said: "Mm! Not only snored but drooled too."

Li Junyan: "Liar."

Huo Zijin burst into laughter, unable to keep up the façade: "Alright, I’m just teasing. Did you work late last night?"

Li Junyan: "I pulled an all-nighter, so I took leave today."

Though all-nighters were exhausting, his internal clock was set to nightti, so he couldn’t sleep during the day. Seizing the rare day off, he recalled she once ntioned wanting to invite him to a movie.

Li Junyan, with righteous indignation, asked: "What was the movie about?"

Huo Zijin said: "About a couple going to the cinema, and the male lead falling asleep on the female lead’s shoulder for the entire movie."

Li Junyan chuckled: "That was a funny joke."

Suddenly, Huo Zijin turned serious: "Actually, it was about sothing else, a school bullying incident."

"School bullying?"
