Chapter 584: Chapter 584: Do We Have the Sa Dad?

Inside the desk, there was a desk full of gifts.

The classmates knew he had just had a birthday, so they prepared gifts and stuffed them into his desk, and those that couldn’t fit were placed directly on the desk.

At the back of the classroom, each classmate had a storage space, which was also cramd full of gifts.

These were all organized by the teacher for him. Anything that couldn’t fit in the desk, she helped Junjun to store in the storage space.

Morning reading class.

The teacher had just walked into the classroom, saw Junjun, and showed a gratified smile.

She walked to the front of the podium and smiled at everyone, saying, “Good morning, classmates.”

“Good morning, teacher!”

Teacher: “I believe everyone has seen it too. Today, Junjun officially returns to school for classes. Let’s welco him, shall we?”

The classmates applauded enthusiastically.

Junjun was montarily unable to adapt to such enthusiasm and awkwardly turned his face to look out the window.

The teacher said to Junjun, “Junjun, thank you.”

Junjun looked at the teacher sowhat confused.

The teacher said, “Thank you for protecting your classmates. You saved them, you are the hero of our class.”

Junjun said, “No need to thank.”

The teacher curled her lips, then suddenly turned around and wrote “Li Junyan” on the blackboard.

Having just finished writing, a classmate stood up and said, “Teacher, you wrote it wrong, Junjun’s surna is ‘Li,’ not ‘Li’. ”

The teacher said, “The teacher did not write it wrong. Junjun has changed his surna, and from now on, everyone should rember, Junjun’s surna is ‘Li,’ not ‘Li’ anymore.”

At that mont, all the classmates looked at each other curiously.

The teacher continued, “Additionally, I officially announce to everyone another matter.”

She looked around and said calmly, “Li Siyao has transferred schools.”

As soon as she finished speaking, all the classmates imdiately turned to look at that empty seat.

Li Siyao had been out of class for a long ti and hadn’t attended for more than half a month.

But no one knew exactly what was going on.

Now, the teacher suddenly announced that Li Siyao had transferred schools, and so classmates curiously asked, “Why did she transfer schools?”

The teacher said, “The teacher also only received the notice, the specifics, even the teacher doesn’t know.”

Saying she didn’t know wasn’t really not knowing.

It’s just that this matter is rather complicated and involves personal privacy issues. Moreover, in front of a class of children, there is no need to explain it clearly.

At the mont, it’s hard to explain.

Such a complicated issue cannot be understood by children of this age.

After class ended.

Junjun’s desk was surrounded by people.

Classmates chattered, “Junjun, you’re really amazing!”

“Xixi told us! You’re incredible, you’re simply our hero.”

For a mont, Junjun was a bit at a loss.

He was still uncomfortable with the sudden enthusiasm, so he just whispered, “Don’t say that.”

“Why not?”

“We’re praising you!”

Junjun raised his head and said, “I just did what I should have done. Any one of you could have done it.”

The crowd suddenly fell silent.

After all, anyone would also find it hard to determine, at that critical mont, with difficulty escaping the predicant, whether they would have the courage to go back inside the carriage to save other classmates.

Junjun said, “You all go back to your seats, and also, thank you for the birthday gifts.”

Classmates returned to their seats in threes and twos.

Junjun lowered his head, sorting the gifts inside his desk when Du Huaixi suddenly walked over and sat beside him.

Junjun looked at her in confusion: “What’s wrong?”

Du Huaixi said, “Junjun, I want you to answer a question for .”

Junjun: “Hmm?”

He suddenly thought of sothing: “I know what question you want to ask .”

He took out a notebook from his backpack and handed it to her: “Here!”

Du Huaixi was taken aback: “What’s this?”

Junjun, propping his chin with one hand, smiled at her: “Take a closer look, what is this?”

Du Huaixi, originally feeling troubled and sowhat inattentive, upon Junjun’s reminder, earnestly looked it over. It turned out to be the maze book she had given him when he was hospitalized.

Junjun: “Do you know, you’re really unique. So many people ca to visit , and only you would give such an odd gift.”

Although the maze was quite boring, it had to be conceded that the maze designed by Du Huaixi was really difficult, even for him, it had taxed his brain considerably.

To design such a complex maze shows that Du Huaixi is a very clever girl.

Du Huaixi opened the maze book, flipping through page by page. On each page, Junjun had drawn the routes with a pencil, the entire maze book, he had solved completely.

Du Huaixi: “You actually… solved it all! You’re so impressive!”

He was truly patient.

Junjun said, “This is the gift you gave , so… how about you help ‘grade’ it, check if there’s a maze I didn’t solve correctly.”

Du Huaixi couldn’t help but laugh: “Seems like you were really bored in the hospital.”

Junjun: “Yeah, thanks to the maze book you gave , otherwise, I would have died of boredom.”

He felt amused, secretly thinking: who is indeed the most bored person here.

Drawing mazes requires more patience than solving them.

Du Huaixi coldly regained her composure: “I didn’t an to ask you about this.”

Junjun: “Then what’s the question?”

Du Huaixi took a deep breath: “My dad is so good to you, is it because he’s also your dad?”

Junjun’s face slightly stiffened, and he remained in the position of propping his chin, staring at her wide-eyed without saying a word.

Du Huaixi felt a bit nervous: “Why aren’t you saying anything?”

Before he could answer, the class bell rang.

Du Huaixi looked out the window and saw the subject teacher walking towards the classroom door.

The classmate who originally sat beside Junjun was about to co over to switch seats with Du Huaixi.

Du Huaixi was just about to get up when Junjun suddenly pressed her hand down and turned his head to the classmate, saying, “This lesson, sit sowhere else for now.”

The classmate responded “Oh” and picked up her textbook to sit at another empty seat.

After exchanging greetings, the teacher began copying notes on the blackboard.

Du Huaixi looked at Junjun, lying on the desk, and quietly asked, “You still haven’t answered !”

Junjun also leaned on the desk like her, staring into Du Huaixi’s clear and bright eyes. He looked closely, and the more he looked, the more she resembled his father.

Du Huaixi was his sister.

Half-sister from a different mother.

Actually, before the incident, he didn’t have a deep impression of Du Huaixi, nor much interaction, except for the sole impression that she was a very cute, quirky girl.
