But Momo insisted confidently that it must an Mommy would have a little sister for him, which was why he had that dream!

Momo: “This only proves that Mommy and I are connected heart-to-heart!”
Though the explanation was a bit far-fetched, it still made sense sohow!
Huo Tingdong asked, “I think you’re even more eager than I am for your Mommy to give you a little sister!”
Momo huffed proudly and said, “Of course! I already have an older brother, so naturally, I want a younger sister! With Mommy’s amazing genes, if she really gives a little sister, she’ll definitely be the most beautiful little princess in the world!”
After a pause, he sighed: “The due date isn’t until next month. I feel like I’ve been waiting forever! Right now, I’m looking forward to the little sister being born, but once she’s really born, we’ll start looking forward to her growing up!”
Huo Tingdong replied, “Why would you look forward to her growing up? Once your sister grows up, she’ll eventually get married—then, as her brother, you’ll have to give her away in marriage!”
Hearing this, Momo suddenly felt lancholic, as if he could already picture the scene: his beautiful little sister, elegantly dressed in a wedding gown, walking into the marriage hall arm-in-arm with so unknown man!
With that thought, he was slightly indignant: “Now I understand why so many fathers can’t bear to see their daughters get married! If it were , I wouldn’t want my sister to marry either!”
Huo Tingdong said, “Then all you have to do is spoil her more, love her more.”
Momo widened his eyes curiously: “If I spoil and love her, does that an she won’t get married?”
Huo Tingdong smiled: “Think about it: if you’re such a gentle and doting brother, pampering and protecting her, then what kind of man could possibly win her over? He’d have to be more handso than you, more capable than you, and spoil her more than you do! If such a man exists, you’d just have to accept it!”
Momo suddenly grasped the logic behind his words: “As long as I spoil my sister enough and love her enough, at least bad n won’t be able to trick her!”
Huo Tingdong nodded.
He wasn’t surprised—this was, after all, his intelligent son.
Momo leaned against the desk, curiously asking him: “Daddy, do you think the little sister will look more like you or ?”
Huo Tingdong: “My daughter—why would she look like you?”
Momo replied, “What’s wrong with her looking like ? I look like Mommy—look how pretty Mommy made ! If my little sister looks like , she’ll definitely be beautiful!”
Huo Tingdong retorted, “Are you saying Han isn’t good-looking?”
Momo critiqued seriously, “Anyway, Han isn’t as good-looking as !”
Outside the door, Han happened to overhear this sentence, and it pierced his heart like an arrow!
He let out a couple of indignant wails, stord into the study, and grabbed Momo by the collar: “You’re talking nonsense! Mommy says I look like Daddy, and once I grow up, I’ll definitely be more handso than Daddy! If the little sister’s appearance resembles mine, she’ll only look better than you!”
Momo responded innocently: “Mommy calls you cute—she didn’t say you look better than ! In Mommy’s heart, I must be the best-looking, because I look like her!”
Han argued, “But Mommy says I look more handso than you!”
Momo smiled elegantly: “And what’s the use of being handso? For girls, beauty is the real power! If the little sister resembles , then she’ll certainly look like Mommy too. When she grows up, she’ll surely be as beautiful as Mommy! By then, when we go out together, everyone will think she and I are the real siblings!”
“Unbelievable!”
Han was provoked yet again. He imagined the situation: if the little sister looked like Mommy, she’d easily share similar features with Momo, and whenever they went out, people would think that Momo and the little sister were actual siblings!
He shot a disdainful glance at Huo Tingdong.
Why did Momo resemble Mommy?
And he ended up looking like Daddy?
Huo Tingdong said, “Han, don’t stoop to his level. You’re just kids—you’re still growing, and who knows? Maybe in the future, as you develop, you’ll grow to be even better-looking than Momo! You just need to have faith in Daddy’s genes!”
With this encouragent, Han’s confidence surged: “Alright! Mommy said daughters always look like their fathers, so maybe when my little sister is born, she’ll look like and Daddy. Hmph!”
