The supervisor’s face turned the color of liver: “Didn’t I reject it?”
Lin Qi said, “I know, then just mark as absent and deduct it from my salary, that’s fine!”
Saying so, she smiled elegantly and politely, and went back to her seat.

Lin Qi said, “It’s rare for to take leave, and I’ve already stated in my application that I’m willing to make up for the work hours. I accept being marked as absent, so why are you so angry?”
The supervisor said, “Because you didn’t take into consideration at all!”
Lin Qi smiled, “Although you are my supervisor and I respect you, reason must prevail. I didn’t take leave without a reason; is choosing a special day for marriage registration wrong? Moreover, I’m not even a permanent employee yet, and I finished all of today’s tasks last night.”
As she spoke, she asked back, “I took leave; what’s the problem that you won’t approve it?”
The supervisor was at a loss for words again.
Maeve sneered, “Enough, don’t bother with her. She won’t be under your supervision anymore, why even bother? Just mark her as absent. However, Lin Qi, don’t say I didn’t warn you, at Huace, being absent for one day ans deduction of three days of basic salary, and there are no redial asures!”
Lin Qi said, “I know, I’ve morized the employee handbook. I accept the disciplinary action for absenteeism.”
Maeve’s expression froze.
She’s taking it so lightly!

Maeve, sitting opposite, heard Lin Qi ntion buying Xiangxie Palace and raised her head in surprise.
Han Na said with astonishnt, “That villa costs billions, right? Your husband is that rich?”
Lin Qi didn’t say much, especially since she noticed Maeve was staring in her direction.
Maeve coldly said, “Lin Qi, is this a shotgun wedding? If it weren’t for the pregnancy, your husband wouldn’t rush for a marriage certificate!”
Lin Qi replied, “You could say that!”
She didn’t want to spend more words on Maeve; you can’t control what others say with the mouth on their face.
Maeve asked again, “What about your son? Now that you are married, can your husband accept this child?”
Lin Qi frowned and countered, “Why shouldn’t he accept?”
