Chapter 251: Chapter 251: Officially Changing the Address

Momo suddenly looked at Huo Tingdong, asking: “Let ask you, if I don’t change my surna, would you recognize as your son?”

Lin Qi also looked at Huo Tingdong; this matter was important to her, and she cared about his attitude.

Huo Tingdong said: “You are my son, that is an unchangeable fact, regardless of whether your surna is ‘Huo’ or ‘Lin,’ you are still my son, Huo Tingdong’s son!”

Hearing this, Momo, for the first ti, revealed a satisfied look in his eyes when he looked at Huo Tingdong.

He was happy that at least his Daddy’s recognition was because he was his son, not because of what surna or na he had.

“Okay.”

Momo seriously nodded, a smile flickering across his dark agate-like eyes: “Then I, too, recognize you as my Dad. From now on, I will formally switch how I address you. From now on, like Han Bao, I will call you ‘Daddy.'”

This was his official acceptance of Huo Tingdong as his father.

“Daddy.” He called out to Huo Tingdong.

Huo Tingdong was montarily stunned, and after coming back to his senses, he realized Momo had switched to calling him differently: “Hmm. I am honored that you recognize as a father.”

He used the word “honored.”

Momo then asked: “So, now that we formally recognize each other, do you think I should change my surna?”

Huo Tingdong asked: “You don’t want to change it?”

Momo replied: “The surna ‘Lin’ has been with for seven years; since my birth, I’ve used my Mommy’s surna, and my na was also chosen by Mommy. I don’t want to change my surna, nor my na.”

Lin Jinmo.

He was unwilling to change this na, no matter how it sounds.

Huo Tingdong pressed his lips together, then said: “According to tradition, you indeed should return to the ‘Huo’ surna. But whether to change it or not, I’ll leave that decision up to you.”

“Daddy is really nice.”

Momo gracefully turned around, looking towards the Old Lady, “Did you hear? Daddy said the choice is mine, and my choice is: not to change.”

In front of his elder, his smile was polite yet graceful.

After he spoke, he clasped his hands behind his back, a young child with a hidden sharpness. His expression matured and carried a striking presence, giving off a seasoned feel that made you montarily forget that this child was only seven years old.

The Old Lady snapped back to reality, feeling sowhat inexplicably alard.

A case of ‘like father, like son’!

This child had fully inherited Huo Tingdong’s presence, each motion carried considerable style.

However, after realizing what Momo had just voluntarily expressed—his reluctance to change his surna or na—she was sowhat hugely disappointed, looking towards Lin Qi: “What kind of ideas have you been instilling in the child?”

It was clear, the Old Lady was displeased, but since Huo Tingdong had already spoken, she couldn’t force Momo to change his na or surna, she could only apply indirect pressure on Lin Qi.

Lin Qi said: “I only respect the child’s choice, whether he wants to change it or not, it is his own choice.”

The Old Lady said: “He is still young, what does he know about right and wrong? He has no idea what this choice will an.”

Lin Qi said: “It ans nothing. It just ans that he has a good father and a good mother who respect him.”

She really didn’t care about the right to the family na, she just disliked being oppressed.

Lin Qi also said: “Besides, Huo Tingdong and I are not remarried yet, and the custody of Momo is still under my na, you have no right to force him to change his na or surna.”

The Old Lady pursed her lips, trembling with anger, yet she could say no more.

After all, in front of Huo Tingdong, her say was limited!

This ti, the confrontation between Lin Qi and the Old Madam ended unhappily once again.

On the way back ho, Lin Qi’s expression was not too pleasant.

Curiously, Han Bao asked: “Mommy, what’s the difference between taking Dad’s surna and Mom’s surna?”

Speaking for Lin Qi, Momo replied: “What difference could there be? You take Dad’s surna, I take Mom’s surna; we both have the sa Daddy, the sa Mom.”

Han Bao still puzzled, asked: “Then why is Great Grandma so angry?”

Momo replied: “That’s because she believes that a son should carry his father’s surna to uphold traditional virtues.”

He suddenly looked at Huo Tingdong: “Daddy, if you were to leave an inheritance in the future, would you, because I don’t share your surna, leave the inheritance to Han Bao and not to ?”

Huo Tingdong: “…”

He turned his head slightly irritated, “I’m not dead yet.”

Momo said: “I know, I’m just asking.”

Initially agitated, Lin Qi couldn’t help but laugh due to Momo’s remark, frowning helplessly: “Momo…”

Huo Tingdong said: “No. I will be fair, whether it’s inheritance or anything else, I will give you and Han Bao equally.”

Relieved, Momo responded: “Then there’s no problem.”

Han Bao said, “Daddy is still alive, and you are already thinking about his inheritance.”

Momo casually said: “I can do without it, but I can’t be without it.”

Han Bao: “…”

Curiously, Han Bao asked: “Daddy, do you have a lot of money?”

Huo Tingdong said: “Enough to cover your wedding expenses.”

However, Han Bao wouldn’t let it go and pressed: “How much does a wedding cost?”

Irritated, Huo Tingdong asked: “Why are you asking this?”

Han Bao was clearly concerned about the inheritance like a wasteful heir.

Han Bao asked: “I just want to know, how much money do you have? I never knew how much money our family has.”

Momo said: “More money than you could ever spend, no matter how many wives you want.”

Han Bao declared: “I don’t want it, Mommy said I’ll grow up to be henpecked, I don’t want to marry a wife to boss around; being bossed by Mommy is enough, if you want to marry, go ahead and marry.”

Mimicking Old Madam Huo’s tone, Momo said: “Now you are the legitimate eldest grandson of the Huo Family, if you don’t marry, who will carry on the family line? Stop saying ‘Mommy’ all the ti, it makes you sound like a mommy’s boy.”

Han Bao, upon hearing this, defiantly glared: “What right do you have to call a ‘mommy’s boy’? As if you’re not one yourself!”

Indignant, Momo retorted: “I am a mommy’s boy, so what? I’m going to make a lot of money, all of which I’ll give to Mommy to spend. When I grow up, I’ll only dote on Mommy!”

Hearing this, Han Bao defiantly turned to Lin Qi: “Mommy, when I grow up, I’ll dote on you too. You heard Daddy, eventually, all his money will go to ! Once I inherit all his money, I’ll support you, spending it only on you.”

Seeing Han Bao even challenging him on this made Momo sowhat laugh and cry: “Mommy has to support her, she doesn’t need your money!”

Lin Qi watched the two noisy Little Babies with a mix of frustration and amusent: “Enough! Stop fighting.” She saw that Huo Tingdong’s face had turned grim.
